Abstract

The article reports on the human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-matching potential of a well known human embryonic stem cell bank in China. It indicates that the bank has 188 human embryonic stem cell (hESC) lines which came from an abnormal and poor-quality in vitro fertilization (IVF)-derived embryos. Moreover, it stresses that the bank can help in providing new hESC resources during stem cell research.
