The article reflects on the Federal Bank of Minneapolis' efforts to develop new notions about old economic problems. He says that research economists at the Minneapolis Fed are developing theories to establish economic certainty. He presents several reports from Minneapolis Fed economists, which discussed various topics, including one nation's adoption of the currency of another, female workforce trends and diminished economic instability in industrialized nations.
