Abstract
The article describes the poor economic performance of Minnesota in 2007. According to a study released by a faculty member at the University of St. Thomas in January 2008, median sale prices of homes declined to more than 2 percent while foreclosures doubled in 2007 compared with 2006. Unemployment rate in the state, however, increased from 4.4 per cent to 4.9 per cent in December 2007.
