The article discusses the highlights of "The Human Capital Conference Series on Early Childhood Development: Critical Issues in Cost Effectiveness in Children's First Decade" in Minnesota in December 2007. Art Rolnick, senior vice president and director of the Early Childhood Research, confirmed the long-term benefit of investing on the education of the youth. Speakers discussed the Perry Preschool Project, the Carolina Abecedarian Project and the Chicago Child-Parent Center preschool program, which are the studies that form the core of research.
