Abstract

The article presents a study that deals with nurse-delivered, consultant-led sexual health services in Great Britain. It highlights the insufficiency of nurses within the National Health Service workforce equipped to deliver independent sexually transmitted infection (STI) and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care. It cites the initiative of the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV to standardize locally delivered learning and assessment programme in STI care and SRH.
