İslam düşünce tarihinde te’vilin önemli bir vasıta olduğu hususunda şüphe yoktur. Usulcüler de te’vilin teşri vesilelerinden biri olduğuna dair kanaat bildirmişlerdir. Te’vilin içtihadın aklî yöntemlerinden biri olduğunu kabul eden usulcüler te’vilin usul sistematiğine dâhil etme konusunda farklı yöntemler kullanmışlardır. Söz konusu usulcülerden biri olan Tilimsânî’ye göre te’vil önemli bir içtihat yöntemi olup sağlıklı bir te’vil için lafzın bazı şartları hâiz olması gerekmektedir. Ayrıca te’vilde uygun bir delilin mutlaka ortaya konması şarttır. Ayrıca Tilimsânî te’vilin usul içerisindeki konumunu belirlemek için karşıtlıkları kullanmak suretiyle diyalektik bir metot tercih etmiştir. Bu kapsamda zâhir-müevvel kavramlarına yoğunlaşarak te’vili temellendirmeye çalışmıştır. Usul tarihinde ilk sayılabilecek bu sistematik bakış açısının detaylı bir çalışmaya ihtiyaç duyduğu açıktır. Bu kapsamda Tilimsânî’nin genel usul anlayışı içerisinde te’vilin konumu ve zâhir-müevvel lafızları bağlamında te’vili nasıl temellendirmeye çalıştığı önem arz etmektedir. Tilimsânî’ye göre lafızların manâya açıkça delalet etmesinin sekiz sebebi olduğu gibi karşıtlık ilkesi gereği lafızlarda te’vile başvurma ihtiyacı da sekiz sebepte somutlaşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada söz konusu sebepler örnekleriyle birlikte ayrı ayrı değerlendirilecek ve Tilimsânî’nin te’vil anlayışı ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır., There is no doubt that tawil is an important tool in Islamic intellectual history. The methodologists also concluded that tawil is a tool of legislation. The methodologists, who accepted that tawil is a rational method of judicial opinion, used different methods in including tawil in methodological system. According to Tilimsânî, one of these methodologists, tawil is a significant judicial opinion method, and a lafz (word or sentence) should have some conditions for a proper tawil. In addition, an appropriate evidence must be produced for a tawil. Tilimsânî also developed a dialectic method by using contradictions in order to determine the place of tawil in methodology. In this regard, he attempted to found tawil by the concepts of zâhir-müevvel. It is clear that this systematic perspective, which can be considered as the first in the history of methodology, needs a detailed study. In this respect, the place of tawil in Tilimsânî’s general methodological understanding and how he tried to found tawil under the words of zâhir-müevvel are of importance. Tilimsânî argues that there are eight reasons for a lafz to refer to meaning and the need for referring to tawil in a lafz is based on eight reasons due to the principle of contradiction. In this study, the aforementioned reasons will be discussed separately with examples, and Tilimsânî’s understanding of methodology will be revealed.
