Abstract

The article provides a presentation by Jane Madell, director of Pediatric Audiology Consulting, and audiologist Carol Flexer, delivered during the online seminar "Beyond ANSI Standards: Acoustic Accessibility for Children With Hearing Loss". Flexer talked about the role of the brain in hearing and development of listening and spoken language. Madell discussed auditory brain development in children.
