A reheating phase in the early universe is an essential part of all inflationary models during which not only the Standard Model (SM) quanta are produced but it can also shed light on the production of dark matter. In this work, we explore a class of reheating models where the reheating is induced by a cubic interaction of the inflaton $\phi$ to the SM Higgs boson ${\textbf h}$ of the form $g_{h\phi} M_{\rm Pl} \phi |{\textbf h}|^2$ adopting the $\alpha$-attractor T-model of inflation. Assuming inflaton as a background field such interaction implies a $\phi$-dependent mass term of the Higgs boson and a non-trivial phase-space suppression of the reheating efficiency. As a consequence, the reheating is prolonged and the maximal temperature of the SM thermal bath is reduced. In particular, due to oscillations of the inflaton field the $\phi$-dependent Higgs boson mass results in periodic transitions between phases of broken and unbroken electroweak gauge symmetry. The consequences of these rapid phase transitions have been studied in detail. A purely gravitational reheating mechanism in the presence of the inflaton background, i.e., for $g_{h\phi}=0$, has also been investigated. It turned out that even though it may account for the total production of SM radiation in the absence of $g_{h\phi}$, its contribution to the reheating is subdominant for the range of $g_{h\phi}$ considered in this work. As a dark matter candidate, a massive Abelian vector boson, $X_\mu$, has been considered. Various production mechanisms of $X_\mu$ have been discussed including (i) purely gravitational production from the inflaton background, (ii) gravitational freeze-in from the SM quanta, (iii) inflaton decay through a dim-5 effective operator, and (iv) Higgs portal freeze-in and Higgs decay through a dim-6 effective operator. We discuss possibility to detect spin 0, 1 and 1/2 dark matter (DM) at future $e^{+} e^{-}$ colliders. The models considered here are simple, consistent and renormalizable field theories, that provide correct DM abundance and satisfy direct detection, indirect detection and collider constraints. The intention of this paper was to verify to what extend it might be possible to disentangle models of different DM spins by measurement of the cross section for $e^{+} e^{-} \to Z + \ldots\,$ at future $e^{+} e^{-}$ colliders. We specialize to the case of the ILC operating at $\sqrt{s} = 250~\text{GeV}$, however our results apply as well for the FCC-ee and the CEPC colliders. For each model the cross section maximized with respect to parameters was calculated and compared to the expected 95% CL cross-section limits estimated for the ILC. It turned out that near $2 m_{\text{DM}}\simeq m_{1,2}$ resonances, where $m_{1}$ and $m_{2}$ are the SM Higgs boson and a non-standard Higgs boson masses, respectively, there exist substantial regions where the models are testable. A model of vector dark matter that communicates with the Standard Model only through gravitational interactions has been investigated. It has been shown in detail how does the canonical quantization of the vector field in varying FLRW geometry implies a tachyonic enhancement of some of its momentum modes. Approximate solutions of the mode equation have been found and verified against exact numerical ones. De Sitter geometry has been assumed during inflation while after inflation a non-standard cosmological era of reheating with a generic equation of state has been adopted which is followed by the radiation-dominated universe. It has been shown that the spectrum of dark vectors produced gravitationally is centered around a characteristic comoving momentum $k_\star$ that is determined in terms of the mass of the vector $m_X$, the Hubble parameter during inflation $H_{\rm I}$, the equation of state parameter $w$ and the efficiency of reheating $\gamma$. Regions in the parameter space consistent with the observed dark matter relic abundance have been determined, justifying the gravitational production as a viable mechanism for vector dark matter. The Standard Model (SM)-like couplings of the observed Higgs boson impose strong constraints on the structure of any extended Higgs sector. We consider the theoretical properties and the phenomenological implications of a generic two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). This model constitutes a simple and attractive extension of the SM that is consistent with the observation of the SM-like Higgs boson and precision electroweak observables, while providing a potential new source of CP-violation. In this paper we focus on the so-called Higgs alignment limit of the generic 2HDM, where the neutral scalar field~$H_1$, with the tree-level couplings of the SM Higgs boson, is a mass eigenstate that is aligned in field space with the direction of the Higgs vacuum expectation value. The properties of the two other heavier neutral Higgs scalars, $H_2$ and $H_3$, in the alignment limit of the 2HDM are also elucidated. It is shown that the couplings of $H_2$ and $H_3$ in the alignment limit are tightly constrained and correlated. For example, in the exact alignment limit at tree level, for bosonic final states $\text{BR}(H_{2,3} \to W^+W^-, ZZ, H_1 Z) = 0$ and $\text{BR}(H^\pm \to W^\pm H_1) = 0$, whereas for fermionic final states $\Gamma(H_2 \to f\bar f)/\Gamma(H_3 \to f\bar f) \sim M_2/M_3$ (where $M_\alpha$ is the mass of $H_\alpha$). In some cases, the results of the alignment limit differ depending on whether or not alignment is achieved via the decoupling of heavy scalar states. In particular, in the exact alignment limit without decoupling $\text{BR}(H_{2,3}\to H_1 H_1)=0$, whereas these branching ratios are nonzero in the decoupling regime. Observables that could be used to test the alignment scenario at the LHC are defined and discussed. For the general Two-Higgs-Doublet model, we present conditions for having spontaneous CP violation, in terms of physical masses and couplings. These relations involve the charged-Higgs mass, its cubic couplings with neutral scalars and quartic coupling, and become particularly simple in the alignment limit. In the simplified model with softly broken $Z_2$ symmetry, some deviation from alignment is required for spontaneous CP violation to be present., Comment: 22 pages

We study a model of vector dark matter with the complex scalar Higgs portal. Renormalisation group equations at the 2-loop level are used to analyse perturbativity and stability of the vacuum. A generalized version of the Randall-Sundrum model-2 with different cosmological constants on each side of a brane has been discussed. A possibility of replacing the singular brane by a configuration of a scalar field has been also considered, the Einstein equations for this setup were solved and stability of the solution discussed. We examine the level of enhancement that can be achieved in the ZZ and \gamma\gamma channels for a two-Higgs-doublet model Higgs boson (either the light h or the heavy H) with mass near 125 GeV after imposing all constraints from LEP data, B physics, precision electroweak data, vacuum stability, unitarity and perturbativity. The latter constraints restrict substantially the possibilities for enhancing the gg -> h -> \gamma\gamma or gg -> H -> \gamma\gamma signal relative to that for the SM Higgs, hSM. Further, we find that a significant enhancement of the gg -> h -> \gamma\gamma or gg -> H -> \gamma\gamma signal in Type II models is possible only if the gg -> h -> ZZ or gg -> H -> ZZ mode is even more enhanced, a situation disfavored by current data. In contrast, in the Type I model one can achieve enhanced rates in the \gamma\gamma final state for the h while having the ZZ mode at or below the SM rate - the largest [gg -> h -> \gamma\gamma]/[gg -> hSM -> \gamma\gamma] ratio found is of order ~1.3 when the two Higgs doublet vacuum expectation ratio is tan\beta = 4 or 20 and the charged Higgs boson has its minimal LEP-allowed value of m_{H^\pm} = 90 GeV., Comment: 15 pages, 9 figures

We consider a simple extension of the Standard Model by the addition of N real scalar gauge singlets $\vp$ that are candidates for Dark Matter. By collecting theoretical and experimental constraints we determine the space of allowed parameters of the model. The possibility of ameliorating the little hierarchy problem within the multi-singlet model is discussed. The Spergel-Steinhardt solution of the Dark Matter density cusp problem is revisited. It is shown that fitting the recent CRESST-II data for Dark Matter nucleus scattering implies that the standard Higgs boson decays predominantly into pairs of Dark Matter scalars. It that case discovery of the Higgs boson at LHC and Tevatron is impossible. The most likely mass of the dark scalars is in the range 15 GeV $\lsim \mvp \lsim$ 50 GeV with $BR(h \to \vp\vp)$ up to 96%., Comment: 18 pages, 15 figures

We consider a Two-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM) constrained by the condition that assures cancellation of quadratic divergences up to the leading two-loop order. Regions in the parameter space consistent with existing experimental constraints and with the cancellation condition are determined. The possibility for CP violation in the scalar potential is discussed and regions of \tan_\beta-M_{H^\pm} with substantial amount of CP violation are found. The model allows to ameliorate the little hierarchy problem by lifting the minimal scalar Higgs boson mass and by suppressing the quadratic corrections to scalar masses. Perturbative unitarity for $\wlwl$ scattering is discussed within the Randall-Sundrum model. It is shown that the exchange of massive 4D Kaluza-Klein gravitons leads to amplitudes growing linearly with the CM energy squared. Summing over KK gravitons up to a scale $\lbar$ and testing unitarity at $\rts=\lbar$, one finds that unitarity is violated for $\lbar$ below the 'naive dimensional analysis' scale, $\lnda$. It is also shown that the exchange of gravitons can substantially relax the upper limit from unitarity on the mass of the Standard Model Higgs boson - consistency with unitarity for all $\rts$ below $\lbar$ is possible for $\mh$ as large as $ 1.4\tev$, depending on the curvature of the background metric. Observation of the mass and width (or cross section) of one or more KK gravitons at the LHC will directly determine the curvature and the scale $\lw$ specifying the couplings of matter to the KK gravitons. We discuss several aspects of higher dimensional models that contain bulk gauge and fermion fields only. In particular we argue that non-standard boundary conditions involving charge-conjugate fermion fields offer attractive model building possibilities. Angular and energy distributions for leptons and bottom quarks in the process e^+e^- --> t t-bar --> l^{+-}/b(b-bar) ... have been calculated assuming the most general top-quark couplings. The double distributions depend both on modification of the t t-bar production and t(t-bar) --> b(b-bar) W decay vertices. However, the leptonic angular distribution turned out to be totally insensitive to non-standard parts of Wtb vertex. Distributions of decay products for polarized top quark in its rest frame have been also calculated. It has been found that the factorization of energy and angular dependence for the double leptonic distribution noticed earlier for the Standard Model survives even if one allows for deviations from the V-A interactions, and the SM angular leptonic distribution turned out to be preserved by anomalous decay vertex., 13 pages, Latex, one eps-figure : Final version (to appear in Phys. We demonstrate that decay angle correlations in $\taum\taup$ and $t\anti t$ decay modes could allow a determination of whether or not a neutral Higgs boson is a CP eigenstate. Sensitivity of the correlations is illustrated in the case of the $\epem\rta Z \hn$ and $\mupmum\rta \hn$ production processes for a two-doublet Higgs model with CP-violating neutral sector. We demonstrate that the ability to polarize the photons produced by back-scattering laser beams at a TeV scale linear $\epem$ collider could make it possible to determine whether or not a neutral Higgs boson produced in photon-photon collisions is a CP eigenstate. The relative utility of different types of polarization is discussed.
