In this article, the author examines the increasing use of digital projects amongst art museums as of April 2014. Particular focus is given to an app (smartphone application) that has been launched by the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, in 2014 that will allow visitors insights into art curatorship and restoration.
