We consider interacting bosons in a two-dimensional square and a three-dimensional cubic optical lattice with a periodic modulation of the s-wave scattering length. At first we map the underlying periodically driven Bose-Hubbard model for large enough driving frequencies approximately to an effective time-independent Hamiltonian with a conditional hopping. Combining different analytical approaches with quantum Monte Carlo simulations then reveals that the superfluid-Mott-insulator quantum phase transition still exists despite the periodic driving and that the location of the quantum phase boundary turns out to depend quite sensitively on the driving amplitude. A more detailed quantitative analysis shows that the effect of driving can even be described within the usual Bose-Hubbard model provided that the hopping is rescaled appropriately with the driving amplitude. The existence of the SU(2)L triplet composite spin-1 resonances ρ±,0 is a universal prediction of the strongly interacting new physics addressing the naturalness problem. Such resonances have not been found in the diboson final states, which are expected to be the dominant decay channels. In this work we propose a new scenario where the left-handed quark doublet qL=(tL, bL) is fully composite. In this case, the ρ resonances can be broad and mainly decay to the third-generation quarks. The tt̄ resonance search channel is comparable in sensitivity to the dilepton channel. Precision measurements at the LHC are complementary to direct new physics searches. The high-energy distribution of diboson processes [WW, WZ, V(W,Z)h] is a promising place, with the possibility of significant improvement in sensitivity as the data accumulates. We focus on the semileptonic final states and make projections of the reach for future runs of the LHC with integrated luminosities of 300 fb-1 and 3 ab-1. In the semileptonic channel of WV, we have employed a combination of kinematical distributions of both the W and Z and their decay products to select the longitudinally polarized W and Z to enhance the sensitivity. The measurement in this channel can surpass the sensitivity of the precision measurement at LEP, and they can be significantly more sensitive than the HL-LHC h→Zγ measurements. Compared with the fully leptonic channel, the reach from the semileptonic channel can be better with effective suppression of the reducible background and systematic error. We also considered the reaches on the new physics mass scale in different new physics scenarios, including the strongly interacting light Higgs (SILH), the strongly coupled multipole interaction (Remedios), and the class of models with partially composite fermions.
