Trabajo presentado al Spanish Relativity Meeting: Towards New Paradigms celebrado en Madrid (España) del 29 de agosto al 2 de septiembre de 2011., The European Space Agency(ESA)Planck mission, launched in May 2009is successfully observing the all-sky cosmic microwave background(CMB)radiation with unprecedented resolution and sensitivity. We review some of the most interesting results obtained up to date in extragalactic astrophysics and also the ones we expect to obtain very soon on cosmology.
