Recently, the advancements of handling occlusions for Augmented Reality (AR) introduces neural network-based image segmentation methods. However, it comes with increased computational costs. There has been some research that try to tackle this issue. Therefore, this paper compiles and reviews the recent articles that covers on this topic in order to identify the current achievements and the future works. The structure of this paper consists of explaining the basics of neural network-based image segmentation, discussing the methods in the published articles and suggesting expected future improvements. 14 articles were identified and 6 of them are discussed in this article. From the discussions, it is found that the common image segmentation methods comprise of semantic and instance segmentation, with instance segmentation giving more accurate and robust results for tracking objects but with higher computational costs. Some methods also incorporate depth-based techniques and 3D reconstruction to improve the accuracy. Based on the advancements, it is concluded that future works on this topic will be more on improving instance segmentation methods in order to reduce the computational costs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Tooth loss can result in anatomical changes, such as decreased alveolar bone and masticatory function. Removable partial dentures are the choice of most patients because they are cheap and easy to apply. In addition to phonetic improvement and masticatory function, removable partial dentures improve esthetics, especially in missing anterior teeth. Because of the hidden clasp, modified conventional wire wrought clasps are an alternative to get an aesthetic, clinical appearance. This article, therefore, reports on the rationale and possibility of using a modified circumferential clasp and twin-flex clasp as retention in the anterior area. The source of the review was searched for related keywords from the published article relevant to the topics. Findings revealed that modified circumferential C and Twin-Flex clasps can be an alternative to esthetic clasps in the anterior teeth. Nanocosmetics is a cosmetic formulation that uses nanocarriers or nanoparticles to transport active cosmetic ingredients. Nanomaterials are increasingly being used in the pharmaceutical industry for cosmetic formulation. Nanocarriers have emerged as a potential drug delivery system, with benefits including increased solubility, improved stability, increased efficacy, controlled release, decreased toxicity, increased drug loading, and improved permeation into the dermal layer. Several nanocarriers have been applied in the form of sunscreens, moisturizer creams, anti-aging, and hair products. By searching published articles in Scopus and PubMed databases, the terms "nanocarrier" and "cosmetic" were used to gain data on the databases. The purpose of this study is to create a concept to implement environmental education for elementary students in the surrounding mining areas in Indonesia. The method includes data gathering, subject analysis, and data analysis. Data was gathered by looking through all published papers and articles that discussed studies on mining activities in Indonesia and the implementation of environmental education in Indonesia. The aim of the subject analysis was to identify multiple subjects that could be combined with environmental education topics. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing information gathered about mining activities in Indonesia, the implementation of environmental education in Indonesia, and subject analysis in order to create a concept to implement environmental education for elementary students in the mining areas in Indonesia. Environmental education is related and can be applied to the learning process in the Chapter "Clean air for health" and the Chapter "Our friendly environment" for the Science subject of grade 5 by the infusion approach of explaining, discussion, demonstration, question and answer, and experiments. This research examined the bibliometric characteristics and trends of articles on intelligent transportation systems (ITS) indexed in Scopus by all around the world authors. Data from the Scopus database were collected, published between 1960 and December 2020. The combination of terms. The combination of words used to find the article related to ITS were "intelligent transportation system" or "intelligent transport system". This led to the finding of 17,373 articles Descriptive analysis was carried out to demonstrate the increase of publishing in literature, the number of published articles each year, the open access type, the publication source and the major journal. Next, the bibliometric analysis was carried out using VOS-viewer software to visualize patterns of the co-authorship, citations of documents, co-occurrence of keywords (co-words analysis). According to the findings, the ITS study has grown in recent years. Articles on the ITS study have appeared in 160 institutions, 160 journals, and 198 countries. The bibliometric analysis revealed that Tinghua University had the most publications on ITS-related research, with a total of 274 articles. This study analyzes the importance of e-learning evaluation in training context through a literature study on the CIPP evaluation model from Stufflebeam in life-skill training and e-learning in journal articles and proceedings published around 2011-2021. Sampling was carried out by identifying the keywords used in published articles with the exact keywords and limiting the type of training program to be studied and the language of the articles, which were focused on Indonesian and English articles. The study results show that an adequate evaluation system is needed as a part of program development. The CIPP evaluation model used as a guideline for training managers to build a comprehensive evaluation framework to obtain a better understanding of user needs (context), learning sources and material for training support (input), the implementation of training design (process), and the impact of training on skills acquired by participants through e-learning usage and program design (product). Research work is generally highlighted on the basis of its various essential features like published number of articles, indexing, citations etc. but determining the performance of a journal on the basis of such features become cumbersome. Decision tree induced algorithms equipped with information theoretic measures can play major role in it by classifying such data purposefully. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the research status and development trend of regional distribution of esophageal cancer in China, and to provide reference for further study of the pathogenesis of esophageal cancer. METHODS: The databases of CNKI, Wanfang, Superstar Discovery and Chinese Biomedical Literature were retrieved, and the literature of regional distribution of esophageal cancer in China was analyzed and evaluated by bibliometrics. RESULTS: The number of literatures on the regional distribution of esophageal cancer in China is increasing continuously. The authors of the literatures on the regional distribution of esophageal cancer show a trend of clustering distribution according to the high incidence areas of esophageal cancer. Among the research institutes, the number of papers issued by institutions in the northern region is much larger than that in the southern region. The high incidence area of esophageal cancer is mainly located in Henan, Jiangsu, Hebei and other provinces. From the national point of view, more high incidence areas in the north than in the south, but the number of high incidence areas in the south is also increasing in recent years. CONCLUSION: In recent years, the study on the regional distribution of esophageal cancer has attracted much attention, and the amount of relative published paper is on the rise, however the profundity and the depth of the study is not far enough. There are not many experts deeply working on this field. Even for the researchers in this field, the published amount of the articles is quite small and limited. The lack of continuity on the research of esophageal cancer is another major problem. Therefore, a long-term monitoring mechanism should be established to continually inject new vitality into the study of regional distribution of esophageal cancer around the country.
