In the era of urbanization, a wide range of Industry 4.0 technologies has provided for total quality management (TQM) practices to ensure the consistency of customers' satisfaction and products' quality. Industry 4.0 development make a change on how TQM practices are applied in industry. However, there are still lacking in addressing the impact of Industry 4.0 on TQM practices in previous works. Hence, the aim of this paper is to identify the impact of Industry 4.0 on TQM practices in automotive industry at Malaysia. A quantitative approach has been used in this research which included descriptive analysis and correlation analysis to achieve the research objectives. The findings shows that the industry 4.0 significantly impact towards the implementation of TQM practices in automotive industry at Malaysia. The significance of the Industry 4.0 is bringing greater productivity growth and encourage industry players to gain competitive advantage in global market. Smart technologies help a company to improve their production performance and provide greatly capabilities for improvement. However, limited knowledge, skills and financial support has affected the development of Industry 4.0 in Malaysia. There are 16 kinds of smart technologies were identified from literature to determine the effect toward business performance. The management level and the assemblers in manufacturing companies were the target respondents in this research. In quantitative method, the questionnaires were distributed via online to 123 respondents and received 70 responses (56.91%). The result has showed there has a positive effect on the smart technology practices toward business performance. There are five types of smart technologies were identified from literature that contributes to manufacturing performance. The management level and the assemblers in manufacturing companies were the target respondents in this research. In quantitative method, the questionnaires were distributed via online to 123 respondents and received 70 responses with 56.91% response rate. The potential of smart technologies is medium level. The highest potential is Identification Technologies. It is followed by cloud computing and information application, wearable technologies, robotic technologies and navigation and localization technologies. The highest practice that is being practiced is cloud computing and information applications. It is followed by identification technologies, robotic technologies, navigation and localisation technologies and wearable technologies. Emotional Intelligence (EI) plays a vital role in Job Performance (JP), especially in avoiding issues such as work-related stress. This study examines the relationship between EI and JP of employees in the oil and gas industry in Malaysia. Hypotheses has been proposed based on the conceptual framework. Concurrently, self-report survey questionnaires were distributed through an online platform to test the significance between these two components, EI and Jp. Data were obtained from 103 staff with 84% feedback rate received from respondents. Data retrieved from SPSS showed there is a significant relationship between EI and JP (b = 0.819, t = 21.506, p <.001), and was supported by a significant proportion of variance in JP, R2 =.67. The results from these obtained data suggest the need to implement, emphasize and strengthen EI. In view of the fact that by increasing the EI, it can provide positive results to the JP, and as a result, beneficial to the academicians and industry practitioners. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The emergence of Industry 4.0 was influenced organisation to deal with digitalisation environment. Supported with the increasing use of WhatsApp tool has received attention as a driver to enhance communication and development of digital value chain between product, environment and business partners. However, lack of research has address WhatsApp in the construction sector. Further, this research aims to investigate the quality of communication practices through WhatsApp tool ability to managing communication processes in the construction project. The approach of the semi-structured interview was conducted to gain in-depth information from 5 project managers as a respondent which experienced in managing Industrialised Building System (IBS) in Malaysian. Our result shows that WhatsApp application tool increased the efficiency of data sharing and increase quality of communication as a mechanism through which this influence exists. Load-bearing masonry (LBM) technology has been identified as an alternative method that can potentially encourage the sustainability of the housing industry. The adoption of LBM technology is believed to bring beneficial effects to the housing industry as well as company productivity. The factors related to the adoption LBM technology was revealed to strongly influence the implementation of this system in the housing industry. The aim of this study is to determine the factors influencing the adoption of LBM technology among the developer firms in Malaysia as well as the factors that are highly related to perceived ease of use and relative advantage. A random sampling technique was applied and a questionnaire-based field survey was carried out to obtain the data from the respondents. All the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings of this paper have revealed that perceived ease of use and relative advantage are related to the adoption of LBM technology. The findings also indicated the validity of Technology Acceptance Model TAM (perceived ease of use) and Innovation Diffusion Theory IDT (relative advantage) as the determinant factors in the adoption of LBM technology. This research paper aims to explore the issue of maintenance and management that appear in managing the commercial building in Malaysian construction and property industry. The data in this research has been gathered through the reviewing process of secondary data such as journals, proceeding, thesis etc. in the area that related to maintenance and management issue in commercial building. As highlighted by previous study, building a good management can ensure that the facilities available in the building are well and meet the standard. Large portion of numbers team organization in the IBS construction sector is known are being fragmented. That is contributed from a segregation of construction activity thus create team working in virtually. Virtual team are the nature when teams are working in distributed area, across culture and time. Therefore, teams can be respond to the task without relocating to the site project and settle down a problem through information and communication technology (ICT). The emergence of virtual team are carry out by advancements in communication technologies as a medium to improve project team communication in project delivery process on IBS construction. Based on literature review from previous study and data collected from interviewing, this paper aim to identified communication challenges among project team members according to current project development practices in IBS construction project. Hence, in attempt to develop effective communication through the advantages of virtual team approach for IBS construction project. In order to ensure the data is gathered comprehensively and accurately, the data was collected from project managers by using semi structured interview method. The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of ICT integration in teaching and learning in private preschool in Malaysia. A total 61 teachers from 10 private preschools in the district of Mualim in the state of Perak Malaysia were randomly chosen in this survey research. The findings revealed that most of the teachers were knowledgeable about the educational ICT application. However, the findings revealed that the teachers' level of ICT integration is still at the low level. This is based on the results of a study that most of the teachers are normal users and ICT application was used for their own work rather than using it in their teaching and learning in the classroom. In addition, the findings indicated that teachers' awareness towards the important of ICT in teaching and learning is not encouraging and this issue is related to the training provided, equipment and time constraints that hinder the integration of ICT.
