Mineral-based products can now be replaced with bio-fluids (vegetable oils). They can be obtained in high quantities from renewable resources. The purpose of this study is to discover if using sunflower seed oil for cooling will increase electric motor performance in the same method that mineral oil can at different load levels. The four-ball tester was used in the investigation. ASTM D4172-B oil was utilized in the experiments. A pumping system was used to test the motor's performance, and the results indicate that sunflower seed oil has appropriate cooling qualities when compared to commercial cooling fluid. The chance to use sunlight as a clean source of energy has arisen as a result of a gradual rise in user requests for eco-friendly power sources and severe government laws for their usage, because its production from a renewable, natural, and eco-friendly resource, in this paper, the performances characteristics of the liquid pumping unit were investigated experimentally when running the laboratory pumping rig by photovoltaic power system under various operating conditions. The study checks the best tilt angle to maximize the output energy. Tests have been performed under various tilt angles 45° and 32°, with a sunny weather condition and within a period between (11:00:00 AM to 4:00:00 PM). The experimental results of the work show that the best PV panel tilt angle to produce maximum power output was at 32˚, also, output power was proportional to radiation, increasing the irradiance will increase the output power of the PV panels. In addition, storing energy into the battery was compensate source of power to continue the pump running during reduced solar radiation. The daily output of the solar pumping system varies according to the amount of direct sunlight that falls on the solar panel, that mean with the increased sunlight the water pumping increased about 24.9 %. Utilizing bio-oils in liquid pumping unites are considered as a one of the most important parts in the water filtration and pumping stations especially in the area of automatic control. In this paper using bio-oils are being investigated which have high degradability and it is environmentally friendly. The thermal performance features of the liquid pumping unit lubricated with bio sunflower seed vegetable oil was investigated and compared with the performance features with mineral oil (MO10W-30). The study includes, oil temperature, density, power and tourq under different rational speed (1200-1500 rpm) for the pump. From experimental investigations carried out in this study, it can be concluded that biodegradable vegetable oils are adequate alternative to the mineral oil as a renewable bio cooling and lubricate. An automatic pumping unit was implemented (three tanks one as a source and two auxiliary) based on two types of controllers. These two are: PID controller and artificial neural networks. Industrial equipment especially water pumps required a high accuracy and safety control system, to reduce the dangers of the working process and the cost of maintenance. This paper presents the implementation of a water pump system that uses an automatic controlling system. Intelligence controller based on Fuzzy logic control (FLC) depending on an intelligent valve control circuit according to water level. The controller had been investigated experimentally by a microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560 under various operating conditions utilizing the laboratory pumping rig based on the delay time. Operation tests have been performed during the day from 11:00:00 AM to 4:00:00 PM. FLC was used to check the accuracy and stability of the flow rate using MATLAB program simulation. The variable ball valve sensor control was used to control the pumping process and the ultrasonic level sensor to detect the water level in the tank. Valve control depends on opening percentage considering the flow rate and pressure parameters. The simulation results using FLC shows the high accuracy and stability of the water management and can be adequate for any kind of liquids. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Vegetable oils are considered as environmentally friendly oils and possess an abundant benefit compared to different kinds of bio-oil, they are wildly available by means of renewable sources. This study concentrates upon investigating the effect of utilizing the corn oil for the cooling performing features of electric transformer, and making a comparison with the cooling performance of the electric transformer which cooling by the commercial mineral fluid. This investigation done by using the four ball machine and electric transformers. Each experiment that was executed complies with ASTM D4172-B. Depending on the outcomes of the four-ball machine and electric transformer, it has been noticed that the corn oil has the adequate cooling behaviours compared to the commercial cooling fluid.
