When the T-connected transmission line fails, there is a certain relationship between the phases of the three-terminal power frequency fault current, which can be applied to protect the current differential of the T-connected line. In this paper, using the MATLAB/Simulink electric power system simulation software, when the T-connected transmission line is faulty, the power frequency fault current variation law monitored at the installation point is deeply studied, and the judgment method of the T-connected transmission line fault branch based on the power frequency current is proposed. This paper explores the performance of dynamic neural networks (DNNs) in solving the combined economic-emission dispatch (CEED) problem. The idea behind the CEED formulation is to estimate the optimal generating unit schedule in such a manner that both the fuel cost and the pollutant emission levels are minimized for a given load demand. DNNs present an elegant approach to transform the CEED optimization problem into dynamical systems whose states converge to the desired optimal generated power configuration. As compared to other neural network approaches, e.g., multilayer perceptron or radial basis function networks, complicated problem mapping or training is not necessary in DNN. Further, the convergence characteristics of DNNs are theoretically well established. Three DNN structures, namely, gradient based primal DNN, Lagrangian based primaldual DNN, and dual DNN, are investigated in optimizing the CEED of 6 and 11 u test power systems. Based on the numerical simulation, the effect of geothermal water temperature on net power output, thermal efficiency, and optimal temperature of flash-binary power system was discussed in this paper. The simulation results show that when the temperature is 80℃, the net power output per geofluid is about 1.08 and 0.86 kWh/t by direct cooling and indirect cooling of flash system, respectively, when the temperature is 150℃, the values are 6.57 and 6.35 kWh/t; the optimal temperature of the combined system is 80℃ and 85℃, 100℃ and 115℃, and 125℃ and 140℃ by direct cooling and indirect cooling of flash system, respectively, when the geothermal water temperature is 100℃, 130℃, and 150℃. In addition, the power output of flash-binary system by direct cooling is dominated by flash power generation, while by indirect cooling is dominated by binary power generation.
