Our study aims to investigate the behavior induced by multiple injections molding cycles on the properties of olive husk flour reinforced poly lactic acid composites. The effect of the chemical treatment was studied. Biocomposite compounds (20wt% of OHF) are manufactured by twin-screw extrusion. Then, multiple injections and grinding cycles were performed (up to 8 cycles) to obtain normalized samples. Mechanical properties were performed at a macro-scale using tensile tests. The results show that the Young modulus of the composites has slightly decreased with the number of cycles and a slight reduction in the elongation at break was noticed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
