Abstract: The article focuses on a clinical observation relative to N-acetylcysteine treatment for H1N1 influenza pneumonia. It discusses the case of a woman presented with a novel H1N1 human swine influenza (H1N1) pneumonia wherein her health condition improved rapidly due to the high-dose of N-acetylcysteine infusion treatment which eventually killed the H1N1 virus. It states that the patient has recovered quickly because of the high-dose N-acetylcysteine together with other antiviral medications.
