Bob Pinkard has resigned from his post as chairman of the commercial real estate brokerage firm Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers. He relates his career experiences after graduating from college and during the evolution of the company that he created in partnership with Pat Cassidy. Pinkard is mulling over a career shift from being a broker to an investor in the real estate industry.

An appreciation of real estate developer(s) and description of various buildings that have won the seventh annual Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women Championship Awards is presented. Of them included is Ronald P. Gibson who has been awarded the impact award for enhancing the Triangle's commercial real estate market to a quality level.

Blake and Davis Realtors is reeling from the departure of as many as 35 employees and Andy Dielmann who was the former resident and part owner of Blake and Davis and the manager of its Clayton office. Steve Peterson, owner of Blake and Davis, is expected to shut down the Webster Groves and Town and Country offices, leaving offices in Chesterfield and Clayton.

Bo Grisham and Blake Crowe are the two leading commercial real estate executives who have reviewed the trends of the Birmingham metro office market. According to them, the Birmingham market is fairly strong or at least doing better with a slow and steady progress but speculative new office construction would not be seen anytime soon.

Various awardees of the Triangle Crew Champion Awards in various categories in real estate and development industry are introduced, including John M. Kane, Kane Realty Group who bagged the Impact Award and Richard E. Jacobs Group, which bagged Best Retail Building for Triangle Town Center.
