The recent use of cryoprotectant replacement method for solving the easy drying problem of hydrogels has attracted increasing research interest. However, the conductivity decrease of organohydrogels due to the induced insulating solvent limited their electronic applications. Herein, we introduce the Hofmeister effect and electrostatic interaction to generate hydrogen and sodium bonds in the hydrogel. Combined with its double network, an effective charge channel that will not be affected by the solvent replacement, is therefore built. The developed organohydrogel-based single-electrode triboelectric nanogenerator (OHS-TENG) shows low conductivity decrease (one order) and high output (1.02-1.81 W/m2), which is much better than reported OHS-TENGs (2-3 orders, 41.2-710 mW/m2). Moreover, replacing water with glycerol in the hydrogel enables the device to exhibit excellent long-term stability (four months) and temperature tolerance (-50-100 °C). The presented strategy and mechanism can be extended to common organohydrogel systems aiming at high performance in electronic applications.

To investigate the influence of NaHCO3 on the CO2 absorption in aqueous solution, the solubility of CO2 in NaHCO3 aqueous solutions [(0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0) mol·kg−1] was measured in the temperature range from (313 to 333) K with pressure range from (0.3 to 2.0) MPa by employing a new designed batch apparatus. The results showed that the solubility data for CO2 in NaHCO3 aqueous solutions agreed well with Henry's law, and the Henry constant appeared to be a function of temperature and the concentration of NaHCO3. Two thermodynamic models were proposed for correlating the experimental data, that is, the modified Setschenow and Peng−Robinson (PR)-Duan equations. It was proved that the models fitted well in with the experimental data, and the average relative deviations were (4.06 and 3.90) %, respectively. The solubilities of the K2CrO4 + KCI + KOH + H2O system at 20 degrees C, 40 degrees C, 60 degrees C, and 80 degrees C were determined by an isothermal method, and the phase diagrams were constructed. Meanwhile, the concentration of K2CrO4 in an aqueous solution of KOH was compared with that in an aqueous solution of KOH saturated with KCI. Lastly, analyses and discussions were made on the crystalline areas in the phase diagrams.

Solubility data for the KCl + K(2)CrO(4) + H(2)O system at 30 degrees C, 60 degrees C, and 90 degrees C were determined, and the phase diagrams were constructed. In addition, the crystalline areas in the phase diagrams were analyzed and discussed. On the basis of the solubility data, a method of separating potassium chromate from the KCl + K(2)CrO(4) + H(2)O system in a new, cleaner process of producing potassium chromate was evaluated.
