Abstract

Synthetic organomagnetic materials such as organic ferromagnets are a recent topic attracting both academic and industrial interest. As part of the authors program for obtaining purely organic ferromagnets, they have synthesized and detected an aromatic known to date for organic molecules. This novel aromatic hydrocarbon has been designed by utilizing topological symmetry of its {pi} electron network.
