Abstract

Cavitein Q4 is a template assembled synthetic protein that is designed for X-ray crystallographic analysis, which is based on monomeric helical bundle cavitein (NiGG) consisting of four identical parallel helical peptides. The X-ray crystal structure of a TSAP system is presented and it is related to the solution data of both Q4 and its parent N1GG.
