Abstract: The article presents a case study of an 18-year-old male American alligator with decreased appetite and abnormal buoyancy. Computed tomography (CT) of the coelomic cavity show multifocal mineral and soft tissue that attenuates pulmonary masses. The article discusses chronic anorexia and abnormal bouyancy caused by severe emphysematous and granulomatos pneumonia. The case study is demonstrating the value of CT to diagnosis pneumonia and pulmonary assessment.
