Charge ordering of the doped holes in La2CuO4.1 with Tc=40 K has been investigated. The formation of a 1D anharmonic incommensurate charge density wave (ICDW), i.e., stripes, in the CuO2 plane has been detected by x-ray diffraction using high photon flux at the third generation synchrotron radiation source, Elettra. We have identified the ICDW peaks that are found to increase by photodoping at low temperature, T
