The article reports on the Moving Image which is considered the eighth art of the twentieth century alongside other older arts such as drama, literature, music, painting and sculpture which originated in the Mediterranean basin. Thomas Alva Edison, Edwin Stanton Porter, and David Wark Griffith are the three American geniuses who created this new means of depicting life.
