The article presents information on eBooks and discusses why it is important to have them in the library. The author states that eBooks are books or other forms of text in digital form. At little to no cost, using technologies that are already available at most schools, it is possible to expand the library media center's collection of books, at the same time making many books more accessible to students. An additional benefit is that books that have passed into the public domain can be given to students at no cost.
