L’idée du « Bonheur », sous les formes stéréotypées du couple parfait ou de la famille nucléaire vivant heureuse dans une prairie fleurie, s’est diffusée au xxe siècle par le biais d’un fructueux commerce d’images et d’objets rendus désirables par l’image publicitaire ou les magazines féminins — médias relayés, au xxie siècle, par les comptes Instagram ou Facebook où s’étalent à l’envi maints clichés (au sens photographique comme au sens figuré) censés prouver et fixer dans une certitude pérenne un parfait « bonheur » conjugal, familial, parental, voire professionnel. Le présent article compare Madame Bovary de Gustave Flaubert et le roman graphique de Posy Simmonds, Gemma Bovery (qui fut initialement diffusé dans The Guardian, de 1997 à 1999, avant d’être publié en album par Jonathan Cape puis traduit en français en 2000, chez Denoël) sous l’angle spécifique des représentations textuelles et/ou visuelles qui traduisent à la fois la sensibilité exaltée des héroïnes et leur asservissement aux stéréotypes. La libre transposition de Posy Simmonds, par le biais d’un personnage féminin contemporain, esclave de représentations préfabriquées du « bonheur », de l’« amour » ou du « chic », permet de poser la question de la subjectivation du cliché en même temps que celle du medium. L’iconotexte de Posy Simmonds poursuit en effet, en termes nouveaux, l’ironie propre à Flaubert, celle notamment qui innerve les passages descriptifs et mine les rêveries d’Emma — comme montage de clichés culturels déclinés sur le mode de l’accumulation hétéroclite et de la surcharge esthétique. De manière différente, mais en vertu d’une intention critique analogue, les dessins et le texte de Simmonds (par exemple, le choix du noir et blanc, le cadrage, le graphisme, la juxtaposition cocasse et contrastive des vignettes, la place dévolue au texte) mettent en exergue des points de vue disparates et soulignent le hiatus croissant entre l’imagination de Gemma et sa vie quotidienne. La lecture ironiste suscitée par l’imagerie factice qui fait écran entre les protagonistes et le monde permet in fine d’interroger l’idée éminemment genrée, datée et discutable d’un « bonheur » au féminin nécessairement corrélé à un idéal amoureux.

Skin inflammation associated with chronic diseases involves a direct role of keratinocytes in its immunopathogenesis, triggering a cascade of immune responses. Despite this, highly targeted treatments remain elusive, highlighting the need for more specific therapeutic strategies. In this study, nanocapsules containing quinizarin (QZ/NC) were developed and evaluated in an in vitro model of keratinocyte-mediated inflammation, incorporating the action of photodynamic therapy (PDT) and analyzing permeation in a 3D skin model. Comprehensive physicochemical, stability, cytotoxicity, and permeation analyses of the nanomaterials were conducted. The nanocapsules demonstrated desirable physicochemical properties, remained stable throughout the analysis period, and exhibited no spectroscopic alterations. Cytotoxicity tests revealed no toxicity at the lowest concentrations of QZ/NC. Permeation and cellular uptake studies confirmed QZ/NC permeation in 3D skin models, along with intracellular incorporation and internalization of the drug, thereby enhancing its efficacy in drug delivery. The developed model for inducing the inflammatory process in vitro yielded promising results, particularly when the synthesized nanomaterial was combined with PDT, showing a reduction in cytokine levels.
