Organic molecules with redox centers have emerged as promising cathode materials for rechargeable magnesium batteries (RMBs), owing to their rich natural resources, high capacity, and sustainability. However, their application has been severely plagued by their high solubility and poor conductivity. Herein, we propose a dual-pronged strategy to mitigate these issues faced by phenazine (PZ) electrodes by employing the ionic liquid (IL) N-butyl-N-methyl-piperidinium bis((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)imide (PP14TFSI) as an electrolyte additive and coating a graphene/polyvinyl pyrrolidone (graphene@PVP) composite layer onto a commercial glass fiber (GF) separator. The addition of highly polar PP14TFSI with high ion conductivity and high viscosity into the electrolyte can mitigate the dissolution of the organic electrode, and catalyze the dissociation of Mg–Cl in large MgxCly2x−y clusters to expedite reaction kinetics. Furthermore, the graphene@PVP layer which served as a barrier against soluble species and an upper current collector, can further retard the shuttle phenomenon and promote the reutilization of PZ molecules. Besides, the presence of graphene@PVP can build an internal electric field, thus facilitating charge transfer. As anticipated, the assembled Mg//PZ cells exhibited a high discharge capacity of 230 mA h g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 and a commendable rate capability of 97.5 mA h g−1 at 5.0 A g−1 with an exceptionally low capacity decay rate of 0.00164% per cycle for 17 700 cycles. This work has provided a new route for the advancement of high-performance metal–organic batteries through the synergistic implementation of electrolyte engineering and separator modification. 0.3 mm‐thick grain‐oriented silicon steel sheets with varying Y contents are produced via twin‐roll strip‐casting and two‐stage cold rolling process. This study primarily investigates the evolution of microstructure, texture, and precipitation along the processing. Specifically, the effect of rare earth Y on second‐phase particle precipitation in ultralow carbon grain‐oriented silicon steel is examined. Results indicate that higher Y content will consume beneficial inhibitor elements such as S and N, leading to the formation of coarse rare earth inclusions (≈10 μm) in the cast strip. This significantly diminishes inhibition ability and magnetic induction (B8 = 1.58 T≈1.71 T). On the contrary, the addition of trace Y can accelerate the precipitation of inhibitors. During the intermediate annealing stage, steel with trace Y exhibits a significant enhancement in precipitate distribution density (from 2.8 μm−2 to 13.6 μm−2), and the final magnetic induction B8 increases from 1.86 T to 1.91 T compared to steel without Y. In addition, the results of first‐principle calculations based on density functional theory reveal that the doped Y atom prefers to segregate at the Al–N interface, and the interface energy reduces from 1.871 J m−2 to 1.024 J m−2, thereby promoting the precipitation of AlN. Ulcerative colitis (UC), as a chronic inflammatory disease, presents a global public health threat. However, the mechanism of Poria cocos (PC) in treating UC remains unclear. Here, LC-MS/MS was carried out to identify the components of PC. The protective effect of PC against UC was evaluated by disease activity index (DAI), colon length and histological analysis in dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced UC mice. ELISA, qPCR, and Western blot tests were conducted to assess the inflammatory state. Western blotting and immunohistochemistry techniques were employed to evaluate the expression of tight junction proteins. The sequencing of 16S rRNA was utilized for the analysis of gut microbiota regulation. The results showed that a total of fifty-two nutrients and active components were identified in PC. After treatment, PC significantly alleviated UC-associated symptoms including body weight loss, shortened colon, an increase in DAI score, histopathologic lesions. PC also reduced the levels of inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β, as evidenced by the suppressed NF-κB pathway, restored the tight junction proteins ZO-1 and Claudin-1 in the colon, and promoted the diversity and abundance of beneficial gut microbiota. Collectively, these findings suggest that PC ameliorates colitis symptoms through the reduction in NF-κB signaling activation to mitigate inflammatory damage, thus repairing the intestinal barrier, and regulating the gut microbiota. Bright‐band defects frequently occur on as‐cast strips in the twin‐roll strip‐casting process, particularly at low‐casting speeds, with intervals of ≈200 mm. Additionally, the cast‐rolling force also exhibits minor fluctuations. With increasing casting speeds, the spacing between bright‐band defects widens, and the severity of these defects diminishes. When the casting speed reaches a certain threshold, defects almost entirely disappear. Detailed analysis of the underlying causes of this phenomenon is essential for effectively preventing defect formation. In this study, the numerical simulation method is employed to analyze casting rolls’ thermal deformation and the melt pool's solidification behavior, based on the production site equipment and process conditions. The causes of defects in as‐cast strips are thoroughly analyzed based on simulation results, in conjunction with variations in the cast‐rolling force. In this study, it is demonstrated that the thermal deformation of casting rolls and the position of the solidification endpoints collectively contribute to the fluctuations in cast‐rolling force and are the primary causes of bright‐band defects. Fundamental principles for preventing defects are provided based on actual on‐site production. Furthermore, simulation results contribute to establishing a theoretical basis for selecting process parameters and controlling cast‐rolling force during production. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: We aimed to investigate how combining myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE) with dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) could help evaluate myocardial perfusion in coronary heart disease patients and understand changes in microcirculation across different levels of coronary artery blockage., Methods: We conducted MCE and DSE tests on 53 coronary heart disease patients, categorizing ischemic myocardium into four groups: A (<50%), B (50%-69%), C (70%-89%), and D (≥90%). Dynamic myocardial perfusion images were captured during rest and peak dobutamine stress from various angles, analyzing parameters like plateau value A, slope β, and the product A × β, reflecting different aspects of myocardial blood flow., Results: Parametric values of myocardial perfusion (PVMPs) were significantly lower in group D at rest compared with other groups (p < 0.001). PVMPs increased notably at peak dobutamine stress in groups A, B, and C (p < 0.001). Groups A and B had higher PVMPs than groups C and D, with group D significantly lower (p < 0.001). β reserve values decreased gradually from group A to D, with significantly lower values of A and A × β in groups C and D compared with A and B (p < 0.001). Sensitivity and specificity for predicting >70% coronary artery blockage was 80%, 66%, and 74%, 80%, respectively, using specific thresholds., Conclusion: Combining MCE with DSE is highly sensitive and accurate in diagnosing obstructive coronary artery blockages. The advancement of rechargeable Mg-metal batteries (RMBs) is severely impeded by the lack of suitable cathode materials. Despite the good cyclic stability of intercalation-type compounds, their specific capacity is relatively low. Conversely, the conversion-type cathodes can deliver a higher capacity but often suffer from poor cycling reversibility and stability. Herein, a WSe 2 /Se intercalation-conversion hybrid material with elemental Se uniformly distributed into WSe 2 nanosheets is fabricated via a simple solvothermal method for high-performance RMBs. The uniformly introduced Se confined in WSe 2 nanosheets can not only efficiently improve the conductivity of the hybrid cathodes, facilitating the fast electron transport and ion diffusion, but also provide additional specific capacity. Besides, the WSe 2 can effectively inhibit the detrimental Se dissolution and polyselenide shuttle, thereby activating the activity of Se and improving its utilization. Consequently, the synergy of intercalation and conversion mechanisms endows WSe 2 /Se hybrids with superior reversible capacity of 252 mAh g -1  at 0.1 A g -1 and ultra-long cyclability of up to 5000 cycles at 2.0 A g -1 with capacity retention of 78.1%.
