Using polarization curve scanning, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, macroscopic morphology observation, scanning electron microscope, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), the corrosion regulars of connectors were investigated. A galvanic corrosion simulation model of aluminum‐titanium rivets was established by electrochemical experimental parameters as boundary conditions. The results showed that the galvanic couple connection accelerated the corrosion significantly. XRD and EDS results show that the main corrosion products are Al2O3, Al(OH)3. The corrosion potential of riveted parts decreased from the riveting point to both sides, ranging from −0.664 to −0.655 V. The corrosion current density decreases along both sides, and the corrosion current density at the most edge is 0.0113 A/m2. The results of numerical simulation indicate that the model effectively predicted the galvanic corrosion behavior of aluminum‐titanium rivets. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) have become very popular in the research community for addressing complex issues in intelligent transportation. This has resulted in many scientific papers being published across various transportation topics over the past decade. This paper conducts a systematic review of the intelligent transportation literature using a scientometric analysis, aiming to summarize what is already known, identify current research trends, evaluate academic impacts, and suggest future research directions. The study provides a detailed review by analyzing 113 journal articles from the Web of Science (WoS) database. It examines the growth of publications over time, explores the collaboration patterns of key contributors, such as researchers, countries, and organizations, and employs techniques such as co-authorship analysis and keyword co-occurrence analysis to delve into the publication clusters and identify emerging research topics. Nine emerging sub-topics are identified and qualitatively discussed. The outcomes include recognizing pioneering researchers in intelligent transportation for potential collaboration opportunities, identifying reliable sources of information for publishing new work, and aiding researchers in selecting the best solutions for specific problems. These findings help researchers better understand the application of ML and DL in the intelligent transportation literature and guide research policymakers and editorial boards in selecting promising research topics for further research and development. In this paper, three-dimensional TiO2 nanoflowers (NFs) were prepared by a facile hydrothermal method, and Ag3PO4 was grown in situ following alkali treatment to design and synthesize a Ag3PO4/OH/TiO2 catalyst with excellent photocatalytic activity under visible light. The test results show that the photocatalytic degradation performance of TiO2 NFs after alkali treatment and Ag3PO4 loading is significantly improved. This is because the alkali treatment and the introduction of Ag3PO4 can provide a large amount of –OH, which can be converted to ˙OH under UV irradiation, followed by an increase in the number of active radicals to enhance the photocatalytic degradation performance. Meanwhile, the introduction of Ag3PO4 can effectively improve the light absorption ability of the photocatalyst. Moreover, the in situ growth of Ag3PO4 on TiO2 NFs can construct a high-quality Ag3PO4/TiO2 heterojunction to promote the charge separation and transport. Therefore, the degradation rate of Ag3PO4/OH/TiO2 can reach 90% after 30 min for degrading 3 mg L−1 RhB under visible light. Cured epoxy resins have poor abrasion resistance, which shortens the service life of the material. This work aims to improve the tribological properties of epoxy resins by coupling self‐lubrication and auto‐healing. In this study, linseed oil microcapsules with an average particle size of 38.57 μm and good thermal stability were successfully prepared by in situ polymerization. The effects of microcapsule content on the tribological, mechanical, and self‐healing properties of the composite coatings were studied. It was demonstrated that the composite coating has outstanding self‐lubricating properties. The coefficient of friction reduced from 0.634 (pure epoxy resin) to 0.0459 (epoxy resin with 10 wt.% linseed oil microcapsules). Wear rate reduced from 7.16 × 10−4 mm3/(N m) to 1.74 × 10−5 mm3/(N m). The self‐lubricating mechanism of the coating was investigated by SEM and EDS, which indicated that the formation of uniform and continuous lubricating film on the surface of the friction pairs was the key to improving the wear resistance of the material. In addition, the linseed oil released after the microcapsules rupture can repair the abrasion marks by reacting with oxygen during the friction process. How to efficiently activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) in a complex water matrix to degrade organic pollutants still needs greater efforts, and cobalt-based bimetallic nanomaterials are desirable catalysts. In this paper, sea urchin-like NiCo2O4 nanomaterials were successfully prepared and comprehensively characterized for their structural, morphological and chemical properties via techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), among others. The sea urchin-like NiCo2O4 nanomaterials exhibited remarkable catalytic performance in activating PMS to degrade phenol. Within the NiCo2O4/PMS system, the removal rate of phenol (50 mg L−1, 250 mL) reached 100% after 45 min, with a reaction rate constant k of 0.091 min−1, which was 1.4-times higher than that of the monometallic compound Co3O4/PMS system. The outstanding catalytic activity of sea urchin-like NiCo2O4 primarily arises from the synergistic effect between Ni and Co ions. Additionally, a comprehensive analysis of key parameters influencing the catalytic activity of the sea urchin-like NiCo2O4/PMS system, including reaction temperature, initial pH of solution, initial concentration, catalyst and PMS dosages and coexisting anions (HCO3−, Cl−, NO3− and humic acid), was conducted. Cycling experiments show that the material has good chemical stability. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and quenching experiments verified that both radical activation (SO4•−, •OH, O2•−) and nonradical activation (1O2) are present in the NiCo2O4/PMS system. Finally, the possible degradation pathways in the NiCo2O4/PMS system were proposed based on gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Favorably, sea urchin-like NiCo2O4-activated PMS is a promising technology for environmental treatment and the remediation of phenol-induced water pollution problems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Iron difluoride (FeF2) has attracted considerable attention for its physical characteristics and practical applications, and its compression behaviors usually play a key role in the in-depth understanding of this compound. Since its high-pressure crystal structure evolution determining a more profound comprehension remains disputable, we carried out extensive experiments to focus on the pressure-induced structural phase transitions of FeF2. Through in situ high-pressure synchrotron x-ray diffraction measurements, we not only confirmed a reported high-pressure orthorhombic Pbca phase at 11 GPa but also identified an interesting two-dimensional structure with hexagonal close packed symmetry (P-3m1) that appears above 25 GPa at room temperature. Furthermore, the spontaneous strain fitting and electronic transport measurements suggest that its ambient rutile-type structure (P42/mnm) evolves into an orthorhombic structure (Pnnm) through a second-order phase transition at 5 GPa. These experimental results elaborate on the pressure-induced phase transitions of FeF2 on the order of P42/mnm → Pnnm → Pbca → P-3m1, shedding light on a rare three-dimensional to two-dimensional configuration transition in difluorides. The high-pressure study on zirconium disulfide (ZrS 2 ) has been conducted up to ∼33.9 GPa by using in-situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction at room temperature and electrical transport measurements, aiming to investigate the pressure-induced structural phase transitions and the metallization of the material. The experiments indicated that a progressive structural evolution occurs as the sequence below: hexagonal (space group (SG): P 3̅ m1 ) → monoclinic (SG: P2 1 /m ) started at 2.8 GPa → orthorhombic (SG: Immm ) started at 9.9 GPa → tetragonal (SG: I4/mmm ) started at 30.4 GPa. The lattice parameters and bulk modulus of the phases at high pressure are calculated. The decompression results demonstrate the coexistence of ZrS 2 stability in monoclinic (SG: P2 1 /m ) and orthorhombic (SG: Immm ) structures. The electrical transport results demonstrate a significant enhancement in the conductivity of ZrS 2 at 8 GPa, and metallization occurs at ∼29.8 GPa. Combined with XRD results, the metallization is coincident with the phase transition to the tetragonal (SG: I4/mmm ) structure. Our study presents a more precise phase transition sequence, calculates the cell parameters and bulk modulus of ZrS 2 under high-pressure conditions based on experimental results, and confirms that metallization is induced by the structural phase transition. These findings provide an experimental basis for the further utilization of transition metal sulfides (TMDs) under high pressure.

For the first time, an innovative pressure quenching technique is used to create the integrated electrode of the black phosphorus (BP) @Ti 3 C 2 T x composite material, doing away with the requirement for adhesive additives and simplifying time-consuming processes. Through the formation of Ti-O-P bonds with BP, Ti 3 C 2 T x MXenes can function as conductive additives and affect the interlayer gap. Additionally, we have found that there is a critical synthetic pressure threshold (300 kN) at which the performance of BP@Ti 3 C 2 T x -integrated electrodes can be improved: too high of a pressure prevents lithium-ion transport because of mesopore reduction; too low of a pressure prevents Ti-O-P chemical bond formation between the two components; and suboptimal pressure does not allow for density enhancement for better electron conduction. The integrated electrode produced at 300 kN shows a discharge capacity of about 724.9 mA h/g at 0.1 A/g current density after 100 cycles, which is much larger than that obtained at 50 kN (270.2 mA h/g). Furthermore, the capacity can remain steady at 560.74 mA h/g even after 500 lengthy cycles at the high current density of 0.5 A/g. Significantly lower resistance (1.10 × 10 2 Ω at 300 kN; 2.02 × 10 3 Ω at 50 kN) and faster reaction kinetics are responsible for this improvement. This study offers a new, straightforward, and broadly useful technique for creating integrated electrodes and BP-based composite materials.

MXene usually exhibits weak pseudo-capacitance behavior in aqueous zinc-ion batteries, which cannot provide sufficient reversible capacity, resulting in the decline of overall capacity when used as the cathode materials. Taking inspiration from polymer electrolyte engineering, we have conceptualized an in situ induced growth strategy based on MXene materials. Herein, 5.25 % MXene was introduced into the nucleation and growth process of vanadium oxide (HVO), providing the heterogeneous nucleation site and serving as an initiator to regulate the morphology and structural of vanadium oxide (T-HVO). The resulted materials can significantly improve the capacity and rate performance of zinc-ion batteries. The growth mechanism of T-HVO was demonstrated by both characterizations and DFT simulations, and the improved performance was systematically investigated through a series of in situ experiments related to dynamic analysis steps. Finally, the evaluation and comparison of various defect introduction strategies revealed the efficient, safety, and high production output characteristics of the in situ induced growth strategy. This work proposes the concept of in situ induced growth strategy and discloses the induced chemical mechanism of MXene materials, which will aid the understanding, development, and application of cathode in aqueous zinc-ion batteries., (© 2024 The Authors. The presence of cancer stem cells (CSCs) contributes significantly to treatment resistance in various cancers, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Despite this, the relationship between cancer stemness and immunity remains poorly understood. In this study, we aimed to identify potential immunotherapeutic targets and sensitive drugs for CSCs in HNSCC. Using data from public databases, we analyzed expression patterns and prognostic values in HNSCC. The stemness index was calculated using the single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssgsea) algorithm, and weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) was employed to screen for key stemness-related modules. Consensus clustering was then used to group samples for further analysis, and prognosis-related key genes were identified through regression analysis. Our results showed that tumor samples from HNSCC exhibited higher stemness indices compared to normal samples. WGCNA identified a module highly correlated with stemness, comprising 187 genes, which were significantly enriched in protein digestion and absorption pathways. Furthermore, we identified sensitive drugs targeting prognostic genes associated with tumor stemness. Notably, two genes, HLF and CCL11, were found to be highly associated with both stemness and immunity. In conclusion, our study identifies a stemness-related gene signature and promising drug candidates for CSCs of HNSCC.
