Background: Mental health issues in adulthood often start in childhood, so it's important to identify these issues early and find ways to manage them. To our knowledge, no study was found that evaluated the long-term effects of language nursing intervention on mental health in children with poor language skills. This study, therefore, aimed to evaluate the long-term impact of a language nursing intervention on the mental health of children with poor language skills. Methods: We estimated poor language skills prevalence in 3-4-year-old children who were planning to enter kindergartens in Hunan, China. After selecting these children, we divided them into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group received a nursing intervention related to language skills for eight months. After eight months, the language skills of both groups were re-evaluated. Then, in the follow-up evaluation, the mental health of these children was evaluated at the ages of 9–10 years. Univariate and multivariate regression models adjusted with sampling weights were used to estimate the correlation of mental health and risk factors. Results: The language skills of the experimental group increased significantly compared to before the protocol (from 87.4±10.87 to 98.08±7.13; p = 0.001). At the end of the eight-month nursing intervention, the language skills of the experimental group were significantly higher than the control group (98.08±7.13 in experimental group and 87.51±9.59 in control group; p = 0.001). In multivariate analysis, single-parent family and not participating in the nursing protocol related to language skills at the age of 3–4 years were related to high symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress symptoms (single-parent family: for depression symptoms, OR = 1.28, 95% CI = 0.88–1.42; for stress symptoms, OR = 1.31, 95% CI = 0.79–2.74 and for anxiety symptoms, OR = 1.42, 95% CI = 0.97–2.44; not participating in the nursing protocol related to language skills at the age of 3–4 years: for depression symptoms, OR = 2.98, 95% CI = 1.80–5.19; for stress symptoms, OR = 1.88, 95% CI = 1.23–2.01 and for anxiety symptoms, OR = 2.67, 95% CI = 1.51–3.77; p<0.05). Conclusion: The current study showed the effectiveness of this intervention on both language skills and mental health of children with poor language skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to experimentally investigate the influence of several key factors, including basicity, Al2O3 content, TiO2 content, SiO2/Al2O3 ratio, and titanium reduction, on the melting properties of electric furnace slags containing titanium in the CaO–SiO2–MgO–Al2O3–50%TiO2 system. The findings revealed that the melting temperature decreased with an increase in the CaO/SiO2 ratio, Al2O3 content, and SiO2/Al2O3 ratio, while it increased with higher TiO2 content. To achieve a low melting temperature for the slags and an appropriate phase composition for titanium extraction, it is advisable to maintain a low CaO/SiO2 ratio within the range of 0.6–0.7, and an Al2O3 content of 13% is recommended. Higher TiO2 content is associated with elevated liquidus temperatures, while conversely, the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio exhibits an inverse relationship. Efforts were made to limit the titanium reduction during smelting to a maximum of 0.4. Anosovite (MgTi2O5), CaAl2Si2O8, Mg(Al, Ti)2O4, spinel (MgAl2O4), augite (Ca(Mg, Fe, Al) (Al, Si)2O6) and Ca12Al14O33 were the primary phases in titanium slag. The calculated viscosity results align with the trends observed in the melting property results. Furthermore, the liquidus temperatures were obtained through FactSage aligns with the pattern observed in the melting temperature. These findings will serve as a valuable technical foundation to support the development of the direct reduction smelting process for the comprehensive utilization of vanadium titanomagnetite. Iron is one of the necessary trace elements for plant growth and the human body. The 'hidden hunger' phenomenon in the human body caused by an imbalance of iron in soil is increasingly prominent. Addressing this issue and optimizing soil through regulatory measures to improve the absorption and utilization of iron by crops has become an urgent priority in agricultural development. This study carries out pot experiments to observe the growth process of Triticum aestivum L. under various soil iron environments. Combined with previous research results, the transport mechanism of iron in the soil—Triticum aestivum L. system was systematically explored. The results indicate that during the jointing and maturity stages of Triticum aestivum L., iron was preferentially enriched in the underground parts; at the maturity stage, the iron content in various organs of Triticum aestivum L. shows a trend of increase followed by a decrease with the soil iron content varying in the following sequence: deficient, moderately deficient, medium, moderately adequate, and adequate. The iron-deficient stress environment causes an increase in the effectiveness of rhizosphere iron, resulting in a higher level of iron in the plant stems, leaves, and seeds. Conversely, when the soil iron content is medium or adequate, the effectiveness of rhizosphere iron decreases, leading to a reduction in the iron content in each part of the plant. A concentration gradient of 7.2 mg/kg in the experimental setup is found to be the most favorable to the enrichment of iron in the shoots of Triticum aestivum L. plants. The findings of this experiment provide guidance for the fertilization strategy to mitigate iron deficiency symptoms in plants under similar acidic-alkaline conditions of soil, as well as a systematic mechanism reference and basis for studying the soil-plant-human health relationship. Avoiding the formation of anosovite phase during the ilmenite reduction process is crucial for the preparation of boiling chloride stove. In this study, the dominant regions of different reduction products of ilmenite in CO-CO2 system and the phase transformation behavior of pure ilmenite in the reduction process were studied by XRD and SEM-EDS analysis. It was confirmed that the reduction of ilmenite (FeTiO3) at < 1150°C went through two stages: the formation of metal iron (Fe) with rutile (TiO2) and metal iron (Fe) with anosovite (Ti3O5). At > 1150°C, the reduction of ilmenite went through two stages: the formation of metal iron (Fe) with pseudobrookite (FeTi2O5) and metal iron (Fe) with anosovite (Ti3O5). As a typical ilmenite resource, Panzhihua ilmenite is used to study the reduction behavior of actual ore in CO-CO2 system. The reaction of forming metal iron (Fe) with pseudobrookite (FeTi2O5) could occur at 1000°C, and magnesium was dissolved in the product during the formation of anosovite. The presence of magnesium reduces the dominant area of metal iron (Fe) with rutile (TiO2), which is not conducive to the reduction of iron. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
