The global issue appears on the students' problem, especially in remedial learning.The purposes of this study are: (1) to describe the activities of lecturers in classroom management and remedial activities, (2) to describe the activities of students in peer-tutor learning method, (3) to describe students' learning mastery after having remedial activity with the peer-tutor method. The type of this research is action research, consisting of planning, action and observation, reflection, and revision. The action was given in three rounds in the classroom (Classroom Action Research). This research was conducted in STKIP PGRI Jombang, Economic Education Study Program. This research was conducted from August to September 2022. The subject of this research is 44 students of STKIP PGRI Jombang. The object of this study is Break-Even Point (BEP) material. Findings show that the average skill of the lecturer in managing the class and remedial activity in 3 rounds of Classroom Action Research is 3.29% which indicates that the lecturer has succeeded in improving students' achievement.

Service activities are carried out based on the obstacles faced by a business actor, which reflects the inconsistency of business activities that have an impact on services that can be categorized as not good. This business activity has indications of poor management, and this is an essential need for business activities which cannot be separated from the importance of understanding financial management. To be precise, in this activity, business income or results that did not meet expectations were found. Through this activity, it is known that there are obstacles in financial management that affect workers' service to consumers and even the calculation of funding turnover or financing for the business. The aim and urgency of this service are to provide an understanding of the importance of commitment to financial recording so that it can become a benchmark and provide information on activities. Business the information in question is information that contains sustainable business activities. The stages of service implementation activities are divided into direct (face-to-face) and indirect (programmed arrival) implementation. The results of developing this simple recording concept are expected to provide new work patterns and new thinking for workers and business owners so that they can plan development activities that can be pursued.

This study aims to analyze the success factors of Singapore and Malaysia in combating corruption from an ethical perspective and how these can be applied in Indonesia. The method used is quantitative, using traditional literature review techniques. This method is employed to conduct a comparative analysis of ethical behavior regarding language, ethical infrastructure, reward and punishment, ethical culture, and leadership in handling corruption in these three countries. These indicators are used because organizations have a large influence on ethics. The results show significant differences regarding ethical readiness in the three countries. Singapore is a country with complete ethical factors and supports ethical behavior, making Singapore have the highest anti-corruption behavior ranking in Southeast Asia. Malaysia is also developing various things to support ethical behavior, such as human resources. Indonesia in particular can learn from the two countries to improve its corruption ranking. This study’s novelty lies in its ethical lens, offering a blueprint for Indonesian policymakers to enhance anti-corruption efforts through strengthened ethical behavior, transparent practices, and political commitment.

Eucalyptus (Melaleuca leucadendra) is a fast-growing species with a good adaptation level and is widely grown, especially on marginal land. Eucalyptus seedling production is done through shoot cuttings. This study aims to determine the effect of nursery media and plant growth regulators (PGR) on the success of eucalyptus cuttings. The research was conducted for seven weeks using various nursery media and PGR. The research design used a completely randomized design and one-way ANOVA followed by Duncan’s test. Results showed that the percentage of live shoot cuttings was 77%. Shoot cuttings that sprouted showed a total rate of 65%, with a total percentage of roots reaching 34%. The ability of shoot cuttings to sprout and roots simultaneously showed a total percentage of 32%. The treatment of nursery media only really affects the percentage of life and sprouting, while the ability to take root and sprout does not have real effects. Applying PGR significantly influences the rate of life, the ability to sprout and roots, and the ability to root sprouts on the cuttings. The interaction of those factors influences the percentage of life and sprout cuttings.

The research aims to identify the influence of the shipmaster leadership style and logistics management on the operational performance of tanker ships, which is mediated by the performance of the Ship's Crew. The research used a sample of 30 tanker and ship crew members at the Indonesian national shipping company PT. Waruna Nusa Sentana. The data analysis method applies a path analysis model to test direct and indirect effects. The research results show that leadership style, logistics management, and crew performance partially influence Ship operational performance. Leadership style and logistics management are also proven to influence crew performance directly. The captain's leadership style and logistics management indirectly affect the Ship's operational performance through the performance of the Ship's Crew. Overall, the operating performance of tankers at the shipping company PT. Waruna Nusa Sentana is influenced by the captain's leadership style, ship logistics management, and crew performance, both directly and indirectly. Ammonia is a harmful organic substance for aquaculture existence coming from high-protein foods that significantly enhances the growth of white-shrimp. The cultivation rate of artificial feed production increases the water-soluble ammonia load. Unfortunately, not all regional regulations adopt the Minister of Environment Regulation to limit ammonia levels to no more than 5 mg/L. Adsorption is an alternative solution to remove or reduce ammonia levels in liquid waste bodies. This study aims to describe the efficiency of ammonia absorption as a form of environmental management towards sustainable coastal resources, especially in hatchery of vannamei’s. The points of the discussion are the technology used in the adsorbent pre-treatment strategy, laboratory scale, and field tests for the adsorption of water-soluble ammonia. Various types of adsorption materials were compared to determine the best physical and chemical properties to be used as biosorbent. Results of the review show that applying composite technology is able to absorb more ammonia compared to a single material. An important point are finding the right adsorption material and the number of times this material which can be used to adsorb ammonia material. this has an effect on the need for provision costs for waste management in the hatchery.

In this work, the biomass charcoal from rubber wood, coconut shell, corn cob, palm kernel shell, as a reductant in the smelting process of saprolitic nickel laterite has been observed in a laboratory submerged arc furnace. A total of 5 kg of saprolite, some reductant and limestone were smelted together in this furnace, which was adjusted to 0.8 of carbon stoichiometric and 0.8 of slag basicity. The smelting process was carried out for 1 h, and the pouring temperature was 1400 °C–1500 °C. From the result, the smelting process using corn cob charcoal and palm kernel shell charcoal showed almost similar nickel grade and recovery compared with using coke as a reductant, which is above 12% and 90%, respectively. It also has the same slag phase, that is, diopside, with a low melting point. These two types of biomass waste reductants could be replaced using coke in the future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Cellulose is a natural polymer contained in growing fibres, such as pineapple fibres. Cellulose can be modified into cellulose acetate, a modified polymer that can be used in the synthesis of a cellulose acetate/polyethylene glycol (CA/PEG) membrane. The phase inversion method was used in this study to produce CA/PEG membranes. Variations in polyethylene glycol (PEG) concentration with a ratio of 1:1 to cellulose acetate, where variations in PEG concentrations used are 2%, 5% and 8%. Acetone and dimethylformamide are used as organic solvents. Membrane morphological analysis using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and functional group analysis using a Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer were performed for membrane characterisation. The result of the synthesis of the CA/PEG membrane is in the form of a thin white layer. The characterisation results of the FTIR spectrometer showed the vibration of the carbonyl bond at wavenumber 1729 cm--1 and the vibration of the hydroxyl bond torque at the wave number 648 cm--1, where the vibration intensity decreased with each addition to the concentration. The results of SEM characterisation show that the increase in PEG concentration increases the percentage porosity of the membrane. The membranes with 2%, 5% and 8% PEG have porosity percentages of 51.54%, 68.70% and 73.50%, respectively. As the membrane with 2% PEG has the lowest percent porosity, it has more potential in removing or filtering solutes from a fluid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the last seven to eight years, there have been three disruptions at once: Digital Disruption, Millennial Disruption, and Pandemic Disruption. Relevant to the three disruptions which are also accompanied by changes in consumer behavior, the freight forwarding industry in Indonesia needs to transform from services product to services ecosystem. This can provide value to stakeholders in the freight forwarding industry in particular and the logistics industry in general, including transportation service providers (land, sea, air, train), warehousing, stevedoring, heavy equipment rental, custom clearance handling, banking, digital payment services, quarantine services, and the customers themselves. This study aims to gain a deeper and more understanding of Service Quality, Brand Image, and Price, in the creation of a services ecosystem in Indonesian Freight Forwarding Companies to build an orchestration of the stakeholders in the Logistics Industry. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, contributing to job creation, income growth, and wealth distribution (Koeswahyono et al., 2022). This research aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on lease agreements (leasing) in the non-banking financial sector, particularly in financing companies. The research is conducted through a normative juridical research method. The main findings of this study show that credit restructuring is a government solution to address instalment payment difficulties, especially for MSME debtors. The article also addresses legal certainty issues in lease agreements, mainly due to regulatory gaps in the Civil Code. With specific conditions, credit restructuring is provided with a maximum limit of IDR 10 billion (Siregar et al., 2021). This research concludes that, despite being considered an optimal solution, credit restructuring also has negative impacts, and legal certainty is critical in this context. Using data from the Financial Services Authority in 2021, the article explains that credit restructuring has positively stimulated Indonesia's economic growth. MSME debtors are the main focus, comprising 39.73 percent of the total credit restructuring. This policy is seen as a strategic step to support economic recovery, especially considering the central role of MSMEs in the national economy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The natural ingredient-based therapy extracted from various plants is assumed more tolerable to cancer patients' bodies than synthetic drugs. To tell successful novel cancer therapy, an indicator is needed to confirm the result. VEGF is a pro-angiogenic factor that leads the cancer cells' invasion to another organ and is associated with high mortality in patients. Hence, the VEGF level is widely used as one of the successful cancer therapy indicators. Purposed of research elucidated the effect of Mandarin orange peel ethanol extract (EEKJM) to improve the reduction of VEGF levels in colon cancer in vitro. This study was an experimental posttest and control group design to analyze different level of VEGF on cancer cells at end of the study. Research began with the preparation of EEKJM followed by a cytotoxic extract test using the MTT assay method. Furthermore, the measurement of VEGF levels by the VEGF ELISA kit protocol. One Way ANOVA was performed to analyze data. Results showed the cytotoxic test of the EEKJM and doxorubicin against WiDr cells was 240 g/ml and 1.59 µg/ml. VEGF levels showed decreasing after being induced with EEKJM and doxorubicin with doses ½ IC50 and ¼ IC50. Conclusion: EEKJM was able to reduce VEGF levels and viability of WiDr colon cancer cells. The advantages are as much as initial evidence of the ability of the orange to treat cancer even though further animal studies or evidence of a pathway of decrease of the VEGF or other signals are required. This study aims to determine the role of the local government in the digital and pandemic era in alleviating stunting in Indonesia. This type of research is qualitative. The research method uses in-depth interviews and triangulation for data analysis. Sources of data from key informants and informants from the office and the community in Bukuan Kelurahan Kota Samarinda. The results show that the Community Development and Empowerment program (PROBEBYA), implemented by the Local Government of Samarinda City, in Kalimantan, Indonesia, has been implemented in various regions through the infrastructure program (economy, social culture, and health). By running this program, the community is greatly assisted even though it is seen that the stunting rate is quite high, the government’s efforts experienced many obstacles in its implementation efforts because there are still many people who shut themselves down and are ashamed that their children are malnourished.
