1. Ethical Principles of Autonomy for Hypertension Patients : A concept analysis.

Abstract

Background: Autonomy is a fundamental ethical principle within the nursing profession. It plays a significant role in patients' decision-making processes when seeking nursing interventions. In the context of hypertensive individuals, autonomy pertains to their capacity to manage and regulate their hypertensive condition. This encompasses the independent decision-making related to medications, lifestyle adjustments, and overall care. Method: The method utilized for this analysis is the Walker & Avant approach (2011). The concept analysis was conducted by consulting literature on autonomy sourced from Google Scholar and Preplexity databases. The search keywords employed were "concept of autonomy" and "hypertension sufferers". Results: The concept analysis followed the 8-step method outlined by Walker and Avant. This systematic approach, which involves identifying the attributes, antecedents, and consequences of autonomy, leads to the development of an operational definition. Autonomy is defined as the capacity of an individual to make decisions independently, without external influence, to manage themselves and take responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions. Conclusion: the results of the analysis it was found that autonomy is very beneficial for hypertension sufferers because a person can make decisions, so that they have self-satisfaction, increased motivation and clear life goals. Autonomy grants nurses the freedom to make clinical decisions based on their professional knowledge and skills. Nurses can determine the best course of action for patients without having to wait for instructions from a doctor, while still being accountable for their decisions and ready to explain their actions within the context of ethics and law.

2. Analysis of Teacher Organization Commitment in Tangerang Regency Public Junior High School

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of locus of control and supervision channeled to an organization as a whole on organizational commitment and examines and describes the influence of locus of control and supervision on organizational commitment. The instrument uses questionnaires. The sample is determined by proportional stratified random sampling. From 268 teacher samples from 33 public junior high schools in Tangerang Regency, data analysis used structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings show that locus of control and supervision significantly affect organizational commitment, and locus of control significantly affects supervision. These findings prove that the locus of control and supervision of teachers can act as indicators of organizational commitment. The practical implication of this research is to provide knowledge and information for teachers and school management to increase organizational commitment by applying the concepts of locus of control and teacher supervision.

Abstract

This paper proposes two levels of preheating for the inflaton that is non-minimally coupled with gravity. The first level, later named by the quadratic regime, corresponds to the matter-dominated era and is responsible for draining the inflaton's energy density. The second level, which we will call the quartic regime, corresponds to the radiation-dominated era and is responsible for the reheating of the universe. We investigate the behavior of non-renormalizable higher dimension operators in both the quadratic and quartic regimes. In the quadratic regime, the certain order $n$ in the non-renormalizable higher-dimension operator could lead to an efficient preheating. On the other hand, the non-renormalizable higher dimension operators in the quartic regime are extremely inefficient for any order of $n$. In our work, we also introduce a mechanism controlled by the characteristic momentum $\alpha$ to suppress the particle production during preheating. Additionally, we emphasized the significance of the small momentum of the particles produced during preheating for the abundance of primordial black holes. This result favors the efficient preheating in the quadratic regime. Finally, we evaluate two modes of the reheating temperature, which differ based on the preheating efficiency during the quadratic regime.

4. Development of Microbiology E-Books Based on Laboratory Research Results as Teaching Materials to Improve Students' Science Process Skills

Abstract

This study aims to: Produce teaching materials in the form of microbiology e-books based on research results on the isolation of styrofoam degrading soil bacteria. Testing the effect of using e-books on improving students' science process skills. The e-book preparation method refers to the Lee and Owens development model and is implemented in learning with the PBL model in the experimental and control groups. The results showed that: e-book material feasibility, e-book teaching materials and e-book practicality with very valid criteria. E-books are proven effective in improving students' science process skills with high criteria, so e-books are suitable for use as teaching materials to support learning. Can be used to solve problems that may be encountered in everyday life.

Abstract

Background: The most frequent consequence for those with diabetes mellitus is diabetic foot ulcers. Diabetic ulcer treatment must be done properly and on time. The development of online-based intervention by nurses, such as messaging health, may improve the clinical outcome of diabetic foot ulcers by providing easier access, more convenience, and cost-effectiveness, especially for patients in rural areas. Objective: This study aimed to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis the models and efficacy of online nurse-led intervention on clinical outcomes of diabetic foot ulcers. Methods: Randomized Controlled Trials were searched by using PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The final inclusion study analyzed and synthesized by tabulation, clusterization, contextual and thematic approach, and assessed risk of bias by using RoB 2.0. The study used Mantel Haenszel method. Results: Five randomized controlled trials with 1399 total number of participants were included. There are three studies with some concerns and two studies with low risk of bias. The nurse-led model for diabetic foot ulcer care consists of phone and web-based that conducted by nurse (community nurses and clinical nurses) and doctor specialists are involved in the service. The meta-analysis for amputation outcome showed that telehealth has more favor amputation number with RR 0.6 (95 % CI 0.43 - 0.84; p = 0.003). For healing wounds and mortality outcome, telehealth with RR 1.07 (95% CI 0.99 - 1.16; p = 0.11) and RR 1.37 (95 % CI 0.78 - 2.40; p =0.28), respectively. Conclusions: Phone and web-based may improve clinical outcome of diabetic foot ulcers in terms of amputation outcome, but standard care still more favor in higher wound healing outcome and significantly lower mortality rate.
