The present study analyses the impoliteness of criticism over social status and distance, incorporating the concept of "levels of imposition." Criticism as a fundamental speech act is commonly used by people in the modern era, either in the digital world or the real world. It usually contains impoliteness if it embodies negative behavior, conveying criticism. This study belonged to an interlanguage pragmatics study and used forty participants from English language learners having Javanese backgrounds. It also applied the role play technique to take data to be analyzed using mixed method analysis. The data showed that the criticizer performed various impoliteness strategies in criticism, considering familiar and unfamiliar relationships in different social status levels. They mainly performed bald-on-record impoliteness and adhered to other strategies such as negative, positive, and mock politeness. Besides that, delivering criticism in high intonation was also perceived as a part of impoliteness. This paper describes the design and implementation of a portable internet of things (IoT)-based system for online monitoring of soil nutrients, specifically nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), to improve precision and efficiency in smart farming. The main goal is to use IoT technology to analyze soil conditions on-site and provide advice about fertilization and soil management. The system measures soil nutrient levels using field-based sensors, such as an NPK probe, and transmits data over a wireless sensor network. The research comprises a quantitative evaluation of the performance of the IoT system using various sensors. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the accuracy of the IoT device with industrial soil nutrient measurement equipment, demonstrating differences in P and K values but not in N values. This disparity points to certain areas where the accuracy of the P and K measurements in the IoT system should be improved. This IoT-based soil nutrient monitoring system highlights the potential of smart farming technology to boost agricultural output, optimize resource consumption, and support sustainable farming practices. The system's portability and online data availability provide farmers with exact soil condition information, allowing them to make more efficient and intelligent farming decisions. The development of information technology has changed the educational landscape by providing new opportunities to enhance the learning experience. This article aims to analyze educational planning using advanced technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Blockchain. Through this approach, we explore the potential of integrating these technologies in optimizing educational planning, including curriculum management, student performance evaluation, and increased student participation in the learning process. The research method used is a literature study to review literature related to AR, VR, and Blockchain technology in an educational context. The results of the analysis present ideas on how the application of this technology can improve efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency in educational planning. The library is a source of knowledge, information, and support for learning. It is equipped with facilities to support comfort and maintain concentration while carrying out activities in the library. For human resources to progress further, libraries must be made as comfortable as possible to support learning. This study aims to design a noise and CO2 control device in an IOT (Internet of Things) based library by using 4 sound sensors KY-037 to detect noise and 1 MQ-135 sensor to detect CO2 gas. This research method uses a literature review study. The noise and CO2 control device in the IOT (Internet Of Things) based library has been completed and can work as planned, the accuracy obtained from the KY-037 sound sensor is quite high, which is 97.6%. However, the good thing is that if the sensor accuracy is improved again, the accuracy obtained from the MQ-135 sound sensor is also quite high, which is 99.16%. Conclusion If the accuracy of the sensor is improved again, the web server runs smoothly using AJAX (Asynchronous et al.) so that the resulting website does not need to load the entire page and the ESP32 as a microcontroller can control the entire system well. The present paper addresses the issue of pragmatic equivalence in literary translation, which is considered to be one of the most important aspects of linguistic uniformity between the source and target texts. Pragmatic equivalence of translation is defined as the conformity of the translator's 'duplication' of the content with the author's communicative intent or the literary objective. The cross-cultural pragmatic analysis of translation equivalence carried out in the paper focuses on the interpretations of the verbal behavior of the heroes while performing speech acts. For the purpose of analysis, the novel by R. Bradbury "Dandelion Wine" and its Armenian and Russian translations are chosen. The research shows that the interpretative words nominating the heroes' verbal behavior, namely, the verbs of speaking, are culture sensitive. Therefore, in some cases the translator may diverge from the source text in order to sound authentic in the target language. The comparative analysis of the samples served as a mediated translation approach, revealing certain linguistic and culture-specific points at issue in the translation process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
