Insulin resistance metabolic score (METS-IR) is a new and more effective comprehensive indicator for measuring IR. Our aim was to investigate the relationship between METS-IR and NAFLD in T2DM population.Patients and methods: This cross-sectional study included 1097 adult patients with T2DM. Anthropometric measurements and biochemical indicators were collected, and the NAFLD was diagnosed by ultrasound. The METS-IR was calculated. Based on the presence of NAFLD, the population was divided into non-NAFLD and NAFLD groups. The relationship between METS-IR and NAFLD was evaluated.Results: Compared with the non-NAFLD group, the METS-IR was higher in the NAFLD group (P < 0.001). The incidence rate of NAFLD increased across the quartiles of the METS-IR (P < 0.001). Spearman correlation analysis showed that METS-IR was positively correlated with NAFLD (Correlation Coefficient: 0.441, P < 0.001). The binary logistic regression analysis indicated that METS-IR was independently associated with NAFLD (OR: 1.120, 95% CI 1.080– 1.161). Furthermore, the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of the METS-IR was 0.781 (95% CI 0.746– 0.817) and relatively higher than other evaluation variables.Conclusion: In patients with T2DM, METS-IR is closely associated with NAFLD, and might be a valuable predictor of NAFLD. This investigation aims to uncover age-associated distinctions through proteomic and metabolomic profiling to gain insights into the underlying mechanisms of MMD.Methods: Twelve MMD patients—six children and six adults—along with six healthy controls (HC), participated, each providing a 10 mL blood sample. Serum proteomic and metabolomic analyses were conducted using ultra-performance liquid chromatography and high-resolution mass spectrometry, complemented by bioinformatics to identify differential biomolecules and their interactions. Pathway implications were ascertained using GO and KEGG enrichment analysis.Results: Notable proteomic and metabolomic discrepancies were observed between pediatric and adult MMD subjects. A total of 235 and 216 proteins varied in adult and pediatric cases compared to HCs, with 73 proteins shared. In addition, 129 and 74 anionic, plus 96 and 104 cationic metabolites, were differentially expressed in the pediatric and adult groups, respectively, with 34 anionic and 28 cationic metabolites in common. Age-specific biomolecules further characterized these distinctions. Enrichment analysis pinpointed immunity and inflammation pathways, with vitamin digestion and absorption highlighted as pivotal in pediatric MMD.Conclusion: This study unveils distinct metabolic and proteomic patterns within pediatric and adult MMD patients. The critical role of the vitamin digestion and absorption pathway in the pathogenesis of pediatric MMD offers novel insight into disease mechanisms. This study aimed to explore the relationship between the expression of complements and immunoglobulin in serum and progression of MMD.Methods: A total of 84 patients with MMD and 70 healthy individuals were enrolled. Serum immunoglobulin and complement C3 and C4 expression were compared between healthy individuals and MMD patients. Follow-up was performed at least 6 months post-operation. Univariate and multivariate analysis after adjusting different covariates were performed to explore predictive factors associated with vasculopathy progression. A nomogram basing on the results of multivariate analysis was established to predict vasculopathy progression.Results: Compared to healthy individuals, MMD patients had significantly lower expression of serum complements C3 (P = 0.003&ast;). Among MMD patients, C3 was significantly lower in those with late-stage disease (P = 0.001&ast;). Of 84 patients, 27/84 (32.1%) patients presented with vasculopathy progression within a median follow-up time of 13.0 months. Age (P=0.006&ast;), diastolic blood pressure (P=0.004&ast;) and serum complement C3 expression (P=0.015&ast;) were associated with vasculopathy progression after adjusting different covariables.Conclusion: Complement C3 is downregulated in moyamoya disease and decreases even further in late–Suzuki stage disease. Age, diastolic blood pressure and serum complement C3 expression are associated with vasculopathy progression, suggesting that the complement might be involved in the development of moyamoya disease.Keywords: moyamoya disease, complement, Suzuki stage, nomogram

The study analyzed the impact of maternal anxiety on infant sleep patterns, including primary caregivers, encompassing insufficient sleep duration, frequent nocturnal awakenings, prolonged nocturnal awakening durations, and elongated sleep latency.Results: A total of 1891 mother-infant pairs were included in this analysis. After adjusting for confounding factors, a positive correlation was found between maternal anxiety during mid-pregnancy and insufficient sleep duration (OR=1.69, 95% CI:1.13– 2.52), and elongated sleep latency (OR=2.26, 95% CI:1.61– 3.18).Conclusion: Maternal anxiety during mid-pregnancy is associated with sleep issues in infants. The emerald ash borer, Agrilus planipennis, is a bark beetle native to Asia that has caused significant forest resource losses in North America since its introduction in the early 21st century. In this study, we used the niche assessment R package "ecospat" and the integrated model "biomod2" to compare 19 bioclimatic variables for A. planipennis in its native range (China) and part of its invasive range (the United States). Future data predicted for the 2050s and 2070s were utilized to forecast potential habitat regions for A. planipennis in China and the United States under two representative climate scenarios (SSP126 and SSP585). We revealed low niche overlap between A. planipennis populations in these ranges, with significant differences in bioclimatic variables. This indicates that A. planipennis has adapted to a range of climatic conditions in the United States. In upcoming times, the suitable habitat region for A. planipennis is expected to significantly decrease in the United States but considerably increase in China. Our study provides insights that can be used to prevent further A. planipennis spread, for economic loss assessment of and developing management strategies against A. planipennis, and as a methodological reference for niche analysis of other invasive species. Objective To study the effect of deep learning applied to the assisted diagnosis of radiolucent lesions and radiopaque lesions of the jaws in panoramic radiography and to reduce the missed diagnosis, with early screening to assist doctors to improve the diagnostic accuracy. Methods This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the West China Stomatological Hospital of Sichuan University. The YOLO v8m-p2 neural network model was constructed with 443 panoramic images as a subject to read. The labeled images were divided into 354 training sets, 45 verification sets, and 44 test sets, which were used for model training, verification, and testing. Accuracy, recall, F-1 score, G score, and mAP50 were used to evaluate the detection performance of the model. Results 443 panoramic images covered the common benign lesions of the jaw, the number of radiolucent lesions of the jaw was 318, containing dentigerous cyst, odontogenic keratocyst, and ameloblastoma. The number of radiopaque lesions was 145, containing idiopathic osteosclerosis, odontoma, cementoma, and cemento-osseous dysplasia; the samples are well representative. The accuracy of the YOLO v8m-p2 neural network model in identifying jaw lesions was 0.887, and the recall, F-1 score, G score, and mAP50 were 0.860, 0.873, 0.873, and 0.863, respectively. The recall rates of dentigerous cyst, odontogenic keratocyst, and ameloblastoma were 0.833, 0.941, and 0.875, respectively. Conclusion YOLO v8m-p2 neural network model has good diagnostic performance in preliminary detection of radiolucent and radiopaque lesions of the jaws in panoramic radiography and multi-classification monitoring of radiolucent lesions of jaws, which can assist doctors to screen jaw diseases in panoramic radiography.

Abstract Background With the improvement of anastomotic techniques and the iteration of anastomotic instruments, robotic intracorporeal suturing has become increasingly proficient. The era of fully intracorporeal anastomosis in robotic gastric cancer resection is emerging. This study aims to explore the impact of totally robotic distal gastrectomy (TRDG) and robotic-assisted distal gastrectomy (RADG) on patients’ quality of life. Patients and methods This study is a comparative retrospective study of propensity score matching. This study included 306 patients who underwent robotic distal gastrectomy for gastric cancer between June 2016 and December 2023 at our center. Covariates used in the propensity score included sex, age, BMI, ASA score, maximum tumour diameter, degree of histological differentiation, Pathological TNM stage, Pathological T stage, Pathological N stage, and Lauren classification. Outcome measures included operative time, intraoperative bleeding, time to first venting, time to first fluid intake, postoperative hospital stay, total hospitalization cost, total length of abdominal incision, postoperative complications, inflammatory response, body image, and quality of life. Abstract The goat, an early domesticated ruminant, is a reliable source of cashmere, meat and milk in global agricultural production. Despite this, the genome of cashmere-rich goats has yet to be characterized. Here, we assembled the nearly complete genome of a cashmere goat from a highly economically valuable Inner Mongolian Cashmere buck, utilizing a combination of PacBio HiFi, ONT ultra-long reads, and Hi-C technologies. The size of this genome is 2.76 Gb, with a contig N50 of 95.22 Mb. All assembled sequences were anchored onto 29 autosomes and both sex chromosomes, with only two gaps present on the X chromosome. We identified 1,333.29 Mb (48.26%) of repetitive sequences and predicted 22,480 protein-coding genes. Assembly quality assessment of the genome demonstrated that our assembled cashmere goat genome surpasses the continuity, completeness, and accuracy of other published goat genomes. Taken together, we provided the first cashmere goat assembly, bridging the gap in the genome of important economic breeds of domestic goats, and providing a valuable reference resource for goat genetics and genome research.

Abstract [Objective] The Northern Hengduan Mountains are rich in biodiversity. Over the last 10 years, there have been many reports of the biodiversity of the region. The team conducted a survey of plant diversity and vegetation structure in Northern Hengduan Mountains from June to August 2023. [Methods] Through field investigation and collection and photograph of plants, as well as preparing, classifying, and identifying specimens. [Results] Eight newly recorded species were reported from Chaya of Changdu in the Northern Hengduan Mountains in Xizang. They were Ephedra minuta Florin (Ephedraceae), Caragana korshinskii Kom. (Fabaceae), Rhododendron luhuoense H. P. Yang (Ericaceae), R. orthocladum var. longistylum Philipson et M. N. Philipson (Ericaceae), R. thymifolium Maxim. (Ericaceae), R. nivale Hook. f. subsp. australe Philipson et M. N. Philipson (Ericaceae), Artemisia capillaris Thunb. (Asteraceae), and Chenopodiastrum gracilispicum (H.W.Kung) Uotila (Amaranthaceae) [Conclusion] The discovery of the newly distributed plants is an important supplement for the flora of the Hengduan Mountains in Xizang. 【Objective】Undersea optical cable plays a leading role in international communication. In the planning of undersea optical cable communication system, several groups of possible schemes are often determined according to experience. The scheme with relatively better transmission performance and investment cost is then selected. However, with the development of communication equipment and communication technology, the number of optional modulation formats and optical fibers keeps are increasing. The number of alternative schemes is too large to quickly determine the optimal scheme. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a cost optimization model of undersea optical cable communication system to solve the cost optimal scheme.【Methods】Aiming at the problem of system planning and configuration in the undersea optical cable communication system, a cost optimization model considering the parameters of transmission performance, transmission capacity and supply voltage is established by taking the span length, optical fiber type, number of optical fiber pairs, repeater output power, modulation format and number of practical channels as the variables. The cascaded-lexicographic method is used to solve the cost optimization model.【Results】The results show that the difference between the planning results of the proposed optimization algorithm and full traversal algorithm are no more than 0.34%. However, the number of operations of the optimization algorithm proposed in this paper is far less than that of the full traversal algorithm, with only 1/100 of that of the full traversal algorithm. Secondly, the number of operations of the cascade genelexicography method is less affected by the range of variables than that of the total traversal method. Finally, by comparing the optimal cost of the undersea cable communication system under different span length, it is found that the planning results have no regularity.【Conclusion】The variables always influence each other. The optimal cost design of the system cannot be obtained according to experience, so it needs to establish a model. The algorithm used in this paper is not only accurate, but also uses fewer operation times.

ObjectiveDrawing from the extended Grossman health capital and demand theory and the life course theory, this study examined whether childhood SES has direct and significant correlation with health in middle and old age in a specific historical context in China.MethodsA sample of 9,861 respondents was obtained from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS). Childhood SES was measured by objective indices of recall. Health was assessed by self-reported, physician diagnosis and the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CESD). The Propensity Score Matching (PSM) was used to estimate the treatment effect between childhood SES and later life health. The Karlson-Holm-Breen (KHB) method was employed to examine the associative mediation effects.ResultsCompared to respondents with low SES in childhood, respondents with high SES in childhood had, on average, 5.1% more likely to report their health as good, an average 2.4% lower prevalence of chronic diseases and an average 7.6% lower in the score of depression in middle and old age. The indirect relationships of childhood health, adulthood SES and adulthood lifestyle with health in middle and old age were all significant. SES upward mobility in adulthood can diminish the association between childhood disadvantage and poor health in middle and old age.ConclusionThe health effects of childhood SES can persist into middle and old age, this is more noticeable in rural areas, particularly in females. The critical period, cumulative risk and social mobility models produce synergistic effects in China. Our results also promote a paradigm shift in health interventions from old age to early life for health-vulnerable populations.

The lighting intensity of coal mine water storage roadways is uneven and the structured features are obvious. Traditional vision based robot pose recognition methods are not accurate. The single robot positioning techniques such as Adaptive Monte Carlo localization (AMCL) method have significant cumulative errors in the output pose information with the long-term operation of the cleaning robot. It is easy to encounter situations where the coal slurry is not cleaned thoroughly and collides with both sides of the roadway. In order to solve the above problem, a multi-sensor fusion clearance robot pose recognition method based on extended Kalman filtering is proposed. Firstly, the method builds a multi-sensor fusion algorithm framework and establishes models for odometer, inertial measurement devices, and LiDAR data acquisition. Secondly, based on the principle of extended Kalman filtering, an observation equation is established using the angle information of the inertial measurement device. Combined with the odometer pose information, the first fusion of the clearance robot pose matrix is obtained. Then, the position information of the lidar is iterated with the previous pose matrix to obtain the second fused clearance robot pose matrix. Finally, the complementary filtering algorithm is used to process the pose matrix of the clearance robot after two fusion and output the final pose matrix of the clearance robot. The experimental results show that the maximum position error in linear pose recognition is 0.04 m, and the maximum attitude angle error is 0.05 rad. The maximum position error in the simulated roadway experiment is 0.1 m, and the maximum attitude angle error is 0.085 rad. Compared with the AMCL method, the pose recognition method of the warehouse cleaning robot based on extended Kalman filtering shows significant effectiveness in reducing the cumulative error during the operation of the warehouse cleaning robot.

Objective: To improve the accuracy and comprehensiveness of oyster grading. Methods: The oyster automatic grading equipment was proposed and designed, the oyster queuing structure combining the rotating drum and the baffle conveyor belt, the grading method combining weight detection and machine vision detection were determined, and the overall structure design of the oyster grading equipment was completed. The oyster image was collected by industrial camera, and the oyster image was extracted by Otsu binarization, Gaussian filtering processing, Canny operator edge extraction and other methods. The oyster was graded by machine vision algorithm with length and fullness as the standard, and the comparison test between machine vision grading and manual grading were carried out. Results: The machine vision classification accuracy of oysters was 95.4%, and the image detection speed was about 0.647 s/image. Conclusion: Machine vision is effective for oyster grading and can classify oysters more accurately.

[ Objective ] Cadmium pollution in farmland soil poses a serious threat to the quality and safety of agricultural products. To explore the characteristics of cadmium accumulation , distribution , and transport in various organs of wheat and oat under different conditions of reduced chemical fertilizer and organic fer- tilizer application is of great importance in guiding appropriate fertilizer application on crops and ensuring the safety of agricultural products. [ Methods ] Based on a 20% reduction in fertilizer application , four fer- tilization treatments were set up : Stable fertilizer 30 000 kg / hm 2 ( AM ), bioorganic fertilizer 600 kg / hm 2 ( BF ), stable fertilizer 30 000 kg / hm 2 +bioorganic fertilizer 600 kg / hm 2 ( AM+BF ), and normal fertilizer application ( CK ) . The effects of the above four different organic fertilizer treatments on cadmium accumu- lation , distribution , and transport in wheat and oat were studied. [ Results ] ( 1 ) Compared with CK , dif- ferent organic fertilizer combinations increased the biomass of wheat and oat by 6.78%-11.00%. At the same time , it reduced the overall cadmium content in various organs , with a decrease of 11.76%-47.06% in grain cadmium content. ( 2 ) The combined application of various organic fertilizers resulted in an overall decrease in the cadmium enrichment coefficient of various organs , with a decrease of 0-38.46% in the grain enrichment coefficient. The transport coefficients of cadmium from roots , stems , leaves , and pani- cles to grains were decreased by 16.67%-42.86% , 15.79%-42.03% , 0-56.10% , and 6.82% - 22.06% , respectively in BF and AM+BF treatments. ( 3 ) The decrease in stem cadmium content after oat filling period was accompanied by an increase in grain cadmium content. The transfer amount , transfer rate , and contribution rate of cadmium from various organs to grains in oats after heading stage were the highest in the stem. [ Conclusion ] Reducing the amount of chemical fertilizers combined with organic fertil- izers could reduce cadmium content , enrichment coefficient , and transport coefficient in crop grains , and the cadmium reduction effect on oat grains was better than that on wheat. The cadmium transported from the stem after the heading stage of oats was the main source of grain cadmium accumulation.

The application of bio-based solvents for living radical polymerization has been a hot topic in recent year. In this article, γ-valerolactone (GVL), a bio-based solvent as green media for ARGET atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of styrene (St) were investigated. We first conducted polymerization of St in γ-valerolactone using copper(ii) bromide as the catalyst, tris(2-pyridylmethyl) amine as the ligand, and only sodium ascorbate as reducing agent. The polymerization achieved moderate conversion; however, the controllability of polymerization was not very good, providing a polymer with a broad molecular weight distribution (M w/M n > 1.30). When sodium carbonate is introduced, excellent results were obtained providing high yields and low M w/M n values under very low catalyst usage (∼5 ppm). 1H NMR spectroscopy, chain extension, and MALDI–MS experiments confirmed the final polymer chains with high fidelity. The use of GVL solvent opens a new route for the easy synthesis of PS through ARGET ATRP with low catalyst usage conditions.

For seeking the cause of the increase in dough water absorption rate after cold plasma treatment, this study adopted low-pressure, radiofrequency 120 W helium cold plasma (CP) to treat wheat flours from 0 s to 180 s. Results showed that water absorption rate, conductivity, values of water and sucrose solvent retention capacity (SRC), and paste breakdown value in wheat flours increased significantly with increasing CP treatment time. To further explore the change causes in these physiochemical indexes, we developed a seven- parameter polynomial , (M was equilibrium moisture (%), ERH was equilibrium relative humidity (decimal), t was temperature (℃), and A~G were parameters. This polynomial could fit moisture sorption isotherms (20-35 ℃ and ERH 10%-90%) of helium CP treated flours, and the goodness-of-fit indexes were superior to those of modified Chung-Pfost (commonly used) and four-parameter polynomial (without temperature term) equations. The seven-parameter polynomial equation clearly showed the hysteresis loops between moisture adsorption and desorption isotherms of flour samples, which shifted downward with increasing temperature. The hysteresis degree showed a parabolic shape curve with increasing ERH, and the vertex of the parabola was at the range of 40-50% ERH. CP treatment shifted the monolayer adsorption sites to multi-molecular adsorption sites ahead of schedule, from ERH 50% to 40%. Further analysis using Dent model showed that the helium CP treatment was able to reduce the mono-layer moisture content and spreading pressure in wheat flour, and increase the elasticity of a capillary wall. The ability of water molecules was increased to form hydrogen bonds with the chemical components, which promoted the uniform distribution and permeation of water molecules into flour particles. Infrared spectral scanning showed that the degree of short-range order at the surface of starch granules and the interaction between protein and starch tended to increase with increasing CP time. Helium cold plasma technology has potential application in improving flour processing quality.

Background IgA nephropathy (IgAN) is a common primary glomerulonephritis worldwide, and the improvement of glucocorticoid on the renal prognosis of IgAN patients with high risk of CKD progression remains unclear. Objective To explore the effect of glucocorticoid therapy on the therapeutic response and renal prognosis of IgAN patients with high risk of CKD progression. Methods IgAN patients with high risk of CKD progression were recruited in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2017 to October 2021 as study subjects and divided into the glucocorticoid treatment group and supportive treatment group according to whether glucocorticoid therapy was performed. Propensity matching method (PSM) was used to screen patients for cases by 1∶1 matching according to gender, age, 24 h urine protein and eGFR, the clinicopathological data of patients, disease remission, adverse reactions within 1 year were recorded. The patients were followed up from the date of initiation of supportive therapy until October 31, 2022. The primary endpoint event was defined as progression to end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or receiving dialysis. The composite endpoint event was defined as sustained decline in eGFR of more than 30% from baseline, or progression to ESRD, or receiving dialysis or death. Kaplan-Meier method was used to plot survival curves and log-rank test was used to compare differences in the cumulative incidence of the primary/composite endpoint events between the two groups of patients. Cox proportional hazards regression analysis was used to analyze the possible influencing factors of renal prognosis in IgAN patients with high risk of CKD progression. Results A total of 236 patients with primary IgAN met the inclusion criteria. After 1∶1 matching, 97 cases in the glucocorticoid treatment group were successfully matched with 97 cases in the supportive therapy group with balanced baseline data. The complete remission rate and partial remission rate of patients in the glucocorticoid treatment group were higher than those in supportive treatment group (χ2=6.171, P=0.013; χ2=3.973, P=0.046) . The median follow-up time was 18.00 (9.75, 28.00) months. Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that the cumulative incidence of primary endpoint event in the glucocorticoid treatment group was lower than the supportive treatment group (χ2=4.495, P=0.034) and the cumulative survival rate of composite endpoint event in the glucocorticoid therapy group was lower than the supportive therapy group (χ2=4.419, P=0.036) . Among the 236 patients who met the inclusion criteria, there were 177 patients with moderate proteinuria. After 1∶1 matching of the 177 patients on glucocorticoid treatment and supportive treatment by sex, age, 24 h urine protein and eGFR using PSM, 76 cases in each group were successfully matched. Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that the cumulative incidence of primary endpoint event in the patients on glucocorticoid treatment with moderate proteinuria was lower than those on supportive treatment with moderate proteinuria (χ2=4.127, P=0.042) ; and the cumulative survival rate of composite endpoint event in the patients on glucocorticoid treatment with moderate proteinuria was lower than those on supportive treatment with moderate proteinuria (χ2=4.934, P=0.026) . Multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analysis showed that hemoglobin (HR=0.982) , serum creatinine (HR=1.019) , eGFR (HR=1.020) and 24-hour urine protein (HR=1.205) were influencing factors of primary endpoints event in IgAN patients with high risk of CKD progression. This study proposed the numerical simulation method of full-length prestressed anchor grouting support based on the post-grouting technology, and the modification of the embedded PILE structural unit in FLAC3D software. Specifically, we conducted the numerical simulation and made comparison in terms of the control effect of roadway surrounding rock under six types of factors: ground stress, strength grade of original rock, length of supporting members, layout spacing, grouting strengthening index and prestress, with the aim to reveal how these factors affect the deformation of surrounding rock and the evolution of plastic zone. Then, we proposed the sensitivity evaluation index of control effect under full-length prestressed anchor grouting support. The influencing factors are divided into 3 levels: strength of surrounding rock, ground stress and design of bolt-grouting support members. Suggestions for engineering are also given according to the sensitivity level of each factor. Finally, the combined high-strength grouting bolt and high-strength hollow grouting cable are developed based on a typical roadway in weak broken strata. It can effectively enhance the self-carrying capacity of weak broken surrounding rock, give full play to the supporting potential of anchoring members, and limit the deformation and failure of roadway surrounding rock. Through the field application, the full-length prestressed bolt-grouting support is verified.

If dedicate a lane to connected autonomous vehicle (CAV) on a multilane road, the traffic congestion and safety risks remain a major problem but in a different style. Random and disorderly mandatory lane-changing behaviour before approaching the next ramp or intersection would have a disturbing effect on the following vehicles of the traffic flow. This paper mainly establishes the optimal mandatory lane-changing location matching model for each target vehicle in the dedicated CAV lane environment. The aim is to minimizing the total travel time, which could take the disturbing effect into account. This model nests the cell transmission model (CTM) to describe vehicle running. The constraints include the relation between target CAV lane-changing cell and the corresponding behaviour start time, the updating of the flow, and occupancy for varied cells. We use the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm to solve the problem. Through the case study of a basic two-lane road scenario in Ningbo, we acquire the convergence results based on the ACO algorithm. Our optimal lane-changing location matching scheme can save 5.9% total travel time when compared to the near-end location lane-changing scheme. We test our model by increasing the total number of upstream input vehicles with 4%, 11%, 15%, and the mandatory lane-changing vehicles with 60%, 200%, respectively. The testing results prove that out optimization method could deal with varied road traffic flow situations. Specifically, when the traffics and mandatory lane-changing vehicles increase, our method could perform better.

The mufti-angle imaging technique is proposed to address the wall position offset and the side flaps and gate flaps caused by the sparse array in the ultra-wide band through-wall radar building layout imaging, using the characteristic that the azimuth upward distance profile is similar around the main flap but different around the side flap/gate flap. Firstly, after the backward projection algorithm obtains the wall image of each viewpoint, the mufti-directional two-dimensional matching filter is used to enhance the image of each viewpoint and eliminate the effect of side flaps and raster flaps. Then the images of each viewpoint are decomposed by combining the multistage transform, i.e., the non-down sampling contour let transform, and the obtained low-frequency components and high-frequency components are fused using the corresponding fusion rules, respectively. Finally, the final fused building layout image is obtained by non-down sampling contour let inverse transform. The simulation experimental data show that the running time of the method in this paper is 10.99s. It shows that the proposed method enhances the outline and detail information of the building wall, and the final fused image obtained has prominent wall image, clearer edge contours, and good retention of overall detail information. The quality of image fusion is greatly improved than other methods, which paves the way for subsequent fusion methods including chatterers such as construction building corners and windows and doors.

For the Jiawula lead–zinc deposit, as easily accessible resources become depleted, mines are becoming deeper to replenish ore reserves. Identifying large, continuous, and high-grade ore bodies in deep areas has become a daunting problem. Moreover, separating lead–zinc-bearing complex ore bodies from waste material and extracting them from associated minerals are also difficult. Thus, pioneering exploratory strategies and technological methodologies are required to make breakthroughs in mineral discovery. Based on extensive-scale structural lithofacies mapping, this paper uses short-wave infrared (SWIR) spectroscopy technology to investigate hydrothermal alteration minerals in the mining area. It has identified a total of 16 hydroxyl-bearing alteration minerals, including chlorite, muscovite, illite, calcite, ankerite, kaolinite, and smectite. These minerals establish zoning characteristics around the ore bodies and on their flanks. They comprise a segmented assemblage that follows the pattern of comb-textured quartz–illite–chlorite–carbonate → muscovite–illite–chlorite–ankerite → illite–smectite–chlorite → chlorite–kaolinite–calcite. Deep-zone illitization with a lower Al–OH absorbance peak wavelength (1.1) and chloritization with higher Fe–OH absorbance peak wavelengths (>2254) and higher crystallinity indices (>3.0) are indicators of potential hydrothermal centers in the deeper regions. By finding hydrothermal centers and connecting their spatial distribution with existing ore bodies, a pertinent relationship between diabase + andesite, Fe-chlorite + illite, and high-grade mineralization has been established. They correspond well with the lithology-alteration mineralization. This research provides a basis for predicting the positioning of concealed ore bodies deep inside a mine or at the periphery.

Nowadays, energy and environmental problems are becoming more and more prominent, and the energy-based manufacturing industry also needs to face huge energy consumption problems. Therefore, production processes need to be investigated from an energy efficiency perspective at an early design stage so that maximum benefits can be obtained at low cost, low time and low risk. This process industry carbon emissions system does not calculate the consumption of raw materials and electricity in a generalized way at the boundaries of the plant. Rather, we delve into each step of the process and perform mathematical modeling of the process through a graphical approach, incorporating each link and factor that constitutes and influences the change in carbon emissions, and performing an aggregation of carbon emissions for the entire production line. It facilitates the subsequent improvement and optimization of the entire process-based production line, providing the basis for implementing and establishing the best energy-saving system.

This paper establishes mathematical models and PVAR models to verify the micro transmission path and the validity of central bank communication and actual interest rate intervention on China stock market. Through heterogeneity analysis, we further test whether the level of macroeconomic uncertainty affects their effect. We confirmthat both central bank communication and actual interest rate intervention have a significant effect. However, central bank communication is ineffective in the high macroeconomic uncertainty sample while the interest rate intervention can have a greater effect. Overall, the results suggest that central bank communication is a more effective monetary policy tool on stock market in low macroeconomic uncertainty period, while interest rate intervention is a better choice in high macroeconomic uncertainty period.

The liver is vitally metabolic for a multitude of biochemical reactions. Consequently, it generates many free radicals and reactive oxygen species, rendering it more susceptible to oxidative stress-induced damage. Oxidative stress represents a pivotal factor in the pathogenesis of liver diseases. We screened some antioxidant peptides previously. Here we investigated whether the peptides could attenuate oxidative damage with APPH in L02 cells. The results showed that one of the peptides, sequence FETLMPLWGNK, could decrease the excessive reactive oxygen species, increase antioxidant enzyme activity and protect mitochondrial function, reduce the ratio of apoptosis and S phase cycle arrest, and improve the survival rate of L02 cells damaged by APPH compared to cells of the control group. Then the peptide was evaluated in mice that CCl 4 injured. We found that CCl 4 -injured mice had significantly increased serum inflammatory factors and liver injury markers, a large number of inflammatory cell infiltration, and local necrosis in the liver. The peptide could reduce inflammation, and improve liver pathological changes. This phenomenon may be associated with the activation of the Nrf2 signaling pathway. Concurrently, the peptide protects the liver by regulating the expression of proteins related to the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway (p53, Bax, Bcl-2, and Caspase3) and mitophagy-related proteins (PINK1, Parkin, and AMPKα). Intimal hyperplasia (IH) is an innegligible issue for patients undergoing interventional therapy. The proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) induced by platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) are critical events in the development of IH. While the exact mechanism and effective target for IH needs further investigation. Metabolic disorders of arachidonic acid (ARA) are involved in the occurrence and progression of various diseases. In this study, we found that the expressions of soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) were significantly increased in the VSMCs during balloon injury-induced IH. Then, we employed a COX-2/sEH dual inhibitor PTUPB to increase the concentration of epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs) while prevent the release of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins. Results showed that PTUPB treatment significantly reduced neointimal thickening induced by balloon injury in rats in vivo and inhibited PDGF-BB-induced proliferation and migration of VSMCs in vitro. Our results showed that PTUPB may reverse the phenotypic transition of VSMCs by inhibiting Pttg1 expression. Calculus Bovis (C. bovis) is a precious traditional Chinese medicine of animal origin, and it is one of the traditional medicines for treating cerebral inflammatory diseases such as stroke. However, the pharmacological action of C. bovis on ischemic stroke (IS) and its mechanism are still unclear. The purpose of this study was to investigate the potential mechanism to treat IS. Chemical constituents of different varieties of C. bovis were analyzed and confirmed by HPLC-MS/MS technique. We constructed a component and corresponding target network and drug-disease target protein-protein interaction (PPI) network. GO and KEGG enrichment analysis were performed. The molecular docking of the main compound with the target protein. Subsequently, the potential mechanism of therapy for IS was verified in vivo by zebrafish model. We introduced Raman spectroscopy to detect changes in the biochemical composition of zebrafish. 13 active chemical constituents and 129 potential targets were selected. 122 KEGG signaling pathways were obtained. The binding energy of the main compounds is less than -4.5. The results of animal experiments showed that C. bovis could significantly improve Ponatinib-induced IS, decrease the aggregation degree of brain macrophages, reduce the number of macrophage migrations, and significantly increase the expression level of NR3C1. Raman information indicated that the biochemical composition in the brain of the Ponatinib-induced group shifted to the control group. The mechanism may be related to anti-inflammatory process and regulation of lipid metabolism. Background: To evaluate the effects of different interventions on adolescent internet addiction, a meta-analysis and network meta-analysis were performed to determine the possible intervention effects of these interventions., Methods: Computer searches of the China National Knowledge Network, Wanfang, VIP, EMBASE, PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO, and Cochrane Library databases were performed. The relevant randomized controlled trials were designed to assess the effects of interventions on adolescent internet addiction. The retrieval period ranged from the establishment of the database to January 31, 2024. Literature screening, data extraction, and bias risk assessment were carried out independently by two researchers. CMA 3.3, Stata 17.0 software and Review Manager 5.3 were used for the data analysis., Results: A total of 89 studies with 6876 samples were included. A traditional meta-analysis of 51 single interventions and controlled studies revealed that sports intervention, cognitive behavior therapy, family therapy, mindfulness intervention, attention bias training and group counseling significantly improved adolescent Internet addiction [standardized mean difference (SMD) = -1.75, 95 % CI (-2.07, -1.44), p < 0.01; I 2  = 94 %] compared to no-treatment groups. A network meta-analysis showed that combined intervention (Sucra = 93.5) had the highest probability of being the best intervention for adolescent Internet addiction, and acupuncture interventions showed the most promise as a single intervention modality; however, due to the limited number of studies, we believe that sports intervention could be the most appropriate single intervention., Discussion: The evidence provided by existing studies shows that compared with other single interventions, combined interventions have the greatest effect on adolescent IA, and sports may be the best single intervention. Excited-state interactions within the organic layer play a critical role in sensitized phosphorescence of two-dimensional (2D) perovskites. Herein, we regulate excited-state interactions utilizing isomeric organic ligands 1-naphthylmethylamine (1-NMA) and 1-(2-naphthyl)-methanamine (2-NMA). Transient absorption and first-principles calculations are employed to elucidate the mechanisms of triplet energy transfer (TET) and triplet excimer formation. The results indicate that wave function hybridization and tunneling effect at the inorganic/organic interface contribute to rapid (∼20 ps) and highly efficient (>98%) TET, with the triplet excimer being generated in (1-NMA) 2 PbBr 4 at picosecond time-scale. However, triplet excimer is barely observed in (2-NMA) 2 PbBr 4 due to varying ligand stacking modes. Despite rapid TET, the efficiency of sensitized phosphorescence is low (<0.5%), which is ascribed to pronounced nonradiative decay. By mixing isomeric ligands and optimizing respective ratio, a maximum phosphorescence enhancement of 7.6 folds is achieved. This work provides a detailed mechanistic understanding of triplet excimer sensitization and regulation of sensitized phosphorescence.

With the rapid growth of on-demand delivery, traditional third-party delivery services using electric bicycles face increasing challenges, including increased labor costs and safety issues. To address these issues, we propose two modes for on-demand delivery systems using buses. One is the "bus terminal + professional crowd shippers" (B&P) mode, which involves consolidating parcels from various origins at the bus transfer hub. From there, they are grouped and delivered by buses. The other is the "bus stop + crowdsourced passenger" (B&C) mode, which transports parcels directly from the origin to the destination by passengers without the need for consolidation and sorting at bus transfer hubs. Both modes fully utilize the surplus capacity of buses and employ resources from retail stores and third-party shippers. We evaluated these modes using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor costs, cost increases from en-route destination changes, and average delivery time per kilometer. This analysis was based on 18,349 delivery cases in downtown Ningbo, China. Through this evaluation, we identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with each mode. Our findings reveal that both the B&P and B&C modes effectively reduce delivery costs and external impacts while maintaining a user experience and efficiency level comparable to traditional third-party delivery services for mid-to-long-distance (3-10 km) deliveries. However, the use of public transportation may limit the flexibility of the delivery mode. Background: Chondroblastoma is a rare, benign bone tumor originating from immature chondrocytes, typically found in the epiphyseal plates of long bones. Its occurrence in the skull, particularly the occipital bone, is extremely rare., Case Presentation: We report a 10-year-old girl presenting with paroxysmal dizziness, occipital pain, and a palpable mass. Imaging studies revealed an osteolytic lesion in the occipital bone with a multiloculated appearance, indicating a concomitant aneurysmal bone cyst. The patient underwent craniotomy with complete tumor excision. Postoperative follow-up showed no neurological deficits or complications and MRI confirmed no recurrence., Conclusion: This case highlights the rare presentation of occipital bone chondroblastoma and emphasizes the importance of early surgical intervention for positive outcomes in pediatric patients., (© 2024. The East Asian Insect Flyway is a globally important migration route stretching from the Indochina Peninsula and the Philippines through East China to Northeast China and northern Japan, although most migrants utilize only part of the flyway. In this review, we focus on long-range windborne migrations of lepidopteran and planthopper pests. We outline the environment in which migrations occur, with emphasis on the seasonal atmospheric circulations that influence the transporting wind systems. Northward movement in spring is facilitated by favorable prevailing winds, allowing migrants to colonize vast areas of East Asia. Migrants may be subject to contemporary natural selection for long flights as succeeding generations progressively advance northward. Overshooting into far northern areas from which there is little chance of return seems common in planthoppers. Moths are less profligate and have evolved complex flight behaviors that can facilitate southward transport in autumn, although timely spells of favorable winds may not occur in some years.

Herein, we developed a facile method for the synthesis of battery-grade ferric phosphate (FePO 4 ·2H 2 O) using high-pressure hydrolyzed precipitates of cobalt-iron alloy acid solution. The size of the prepared FePO 4 ·2H 2 O samples was about 5-10 μm, and the microstructure of FePO 4 ·2H 2 O was polyhedral. The FePO 4 ·2H 2 O samples exhibited a high Fe/P ratio (1.03) compared with standard ferric phosphate (0.98-1.02), indicating potentially good electrochemical performance. The significance of the current work is that we have developed an effective method for the resource utilization of solid waste containing iron.

Changes in diet causing ecological stress pose a significant challenge to animal survival. In response, the gut microbiota, a crucial part of the host's digestive system, exhibits patterns of change reflective of alterations in the host's food component. The impact of temporal dietary shifts on gut microbiota has been elucidated through multidimensional modeling of both food component and macronutrient intake. However, the broad distribution of wild generalist and the intricate complexity of their food component hinder our capacity to ascertain the degree to which their gut microbiota assist in adapting to spatial dietary variations. We examined variation in patterns of the gut microbial community according to changes in diet and in a colobine monkey with a regional variable diet, the golden snub-nosed monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana). Specifically, we analyse the interactions between variation in food component, macronutrient intake and the gut microbial community. We compared monkeys from four populations by quantifying food component and macronutrient intake, and by sequencing 16S rRNA and the microbial macro-genomes from the faecal samples of 44 individuals. We found significant differences in the diets and gut microbial compositions, in nutrient space and macronutrient intake among some populations. Variations in gut microbiota composition across distinct populations mirror the disparities in macronutrient intake, with a notable emphasis on carbohydrate. Geographical differences in the diet among of golden snub-nosed monkey populations will result in macronutrient intake variation, with corresponding differences in macronutrient intake driving regional differences in the compositions and abundances of gut microbiota. Importantly, the gut microbiota associated with core digestive functions does not vary, with the non-core gut microbiota fluctuating in response to variation in macronutrient intake. This characteristic may enable species heavily reliant on gut microbiota for digestion to adapt to diet changes. Although the biogeographical pattern and mechanisms underlying microbial assembly have been well-explored in lentic ecosystems, the relevant scenarios in lotic ecosystems remain poorly understood. By sequencing the bacterial communities in bacterioplankton and biofilm, our study detected their distance-decay relationship (DDR), and the balance between deterministic and stochastic processes, along the Kaidu river in an arid and semi-arid region of northwest China. Our results revealed that bacterioplankton and biofilm had significantly contrasting community structures. The bacterioplankton communities showed a gradually decreasing trend in alpha-diversity from the headwater to the river mouth, contrasting with the alpha-diversity of biofilm communities which was constant along the river length. Both bacterioplankton and biofilm showed significant DDRs along the 500-km river corridor with the slope of the bacterioplankton DDR being steeper than that of the biofilm DDR, which implies a stronger biogeography of bacterioplankton than biofilm. Relative to biofilm communities, the species interactions formed a denser and more complex network in the bacterioplankton communities than in the biofilm communities. Our results also revealed that there was a transition of community assembly from deterministic to stochastic processes upstream to downstream, although both the bacterioplankton and biofilm communities were mainly regulated by deterministic processes within the entire river. This study explored the pathogenesis of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and monkeypox co-infection, identifying candidate hub genes and potential drugs using bioinformatics and machine learning. Datasets for HIV (GSE 37250) and monkeypox (GSE 24125) were obtained from the GEO database. Common differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in co-infection were identified by intersecting DEGs from monkeypox datasets with genes from key HIV modules screened using Weighted Gene Co-Expression Network Analysis (WGCNA). After gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis and construction of protein-protein interaction (PPI) network, candidate hub genes were further screened based on machine learning algorithms. Transcriptional factors (TFs) and miRNA-candidate hub gene networks were constructed to understand regulatory mechanisms and protein-drug interactions to identify potential therapeutic drugs. Seven candidate hub genes-MX2, ADAR, POLR2H, RPL5, IFI16, IFIT2, and RPS5-were identified. TFs and miRNAs associated with these hub genes, playing a key role in regulating viral infection and inflammation due to the activation of antiviral innate immunity, were also identified through network analysis. Potential therapeutic drugs were screened based on these hub genes: AZT, a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor, suppressed viral replication in HIV and monkeypox co-infection, while mefloquine inhibited inflammation due to the activation of antiviral innate immunity. In conclusion, the study identified candidate hub genes, their transcriptional regulation, signaling pathways, and small-molecule drugs in HIV and monkeypox co-infection, contributing to understanding the pathogenesis of HIV and monkeypox co-infection and informing precise therapeutic strategies., (© 2024. Oncogenic RET alteration is an important, tissue-agnostic therapeutic target across diverse cancers. We conducted a first-in-human phase 1 study on SY-5007, a potent and selective RET inhibitor, in patients with RET-altered solid tumors. Primary endpoints were safety, maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D). Secondary endpoints included pharmacokinetics and preliminary anti-tumor activity. A total of 122 patients were enrolled (17 in dose-escalation phase and 105 in dose-expansion phase), including 91 with non-small cell lung cancer, 23 with medullary thyroid cancer, 7 with papillary thyroid cancer and 1 with gastric cancer. Treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs) were reported in 96.7% of patients, with the most common grade ≥ 3 TRAEs being hypertension (22.1%), diarrhea (16.4%), hypertriglyceridemia (6.6%), and neutropenia (6.6%). The exposure to SY-5007 was dose proportional. Among the 116 efficacy-evaluable patients, the overall objective response rate (ORR) was 57.8%, with 70.0% in treatment-naïve patients and 51.3% in previously treated patients. The median progression-free survival (PFS) was 21.1 months. Efficacy was observed regardless of tumor types and previous therapies. Biomarker analysis of 61 patients with circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA)-detectable RET alterations showed an ORR of 57.4% and median PFS of 13.8 months. Rapid ctDNA clearance of RET alteration correlated with faster responses and improved outcomes. In relapsed patients, off-target induced resistance was observed in 57.1% (12/21), with no on-target RET alterations identified. In conclusion, SY-5007 was well-tolerated and showed promising efficacy in patients with RET-altered solid tumors. Olefin-linked covalent organic frameworks (OL-COFs) show great promise for visible-light-driven photocatalysis. Manipulating atomic-level donor-acceptor interactions in OL-COFs is key to understanding their exciton effects in this system. Here, three OL-COFs are presented with orthorhombic lattice structures, synthesized via Knoevenagel polycondensation reaction of terephthalaldehyde and tetratopic monomers featuring phenyl, benzo[c][1,2,5]oxadiazole, and benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole moieties. These OL-COFs feature tunable donor-acceptor interactions, making them ideal for studying exciton effects in olefin-linked systems. Comprehensive analyses, including temperature-dependent photoluminescence spectra, ultrafast spectroscopy, and theoretical calculations, reveal that stronger donor-acceptor interactions lead to reduced exciton binding energy (E b ), accelerated exciton dissociation, and longer-lived photogenerated charges, thereby enhancing photocatalytic performance. Notably, The TMO-BDA COF, with the lowest E b , demonstrates superior photocatalytic activity in one-pot sequential organic transformation and excellent catalytic performance in gram-scale reactions, highlighting its potential for practical applications. Increasing frequency, intensity and duration of marine heatwaves (MHWs) are supposed to affect coastal biological production in different regions to different extents. To understand how MHWs impact coastal primary productivity and community succession of phytoplankton and assess the changes in resilience of phytoplankton communities, we conducted a mesoscale enclosure experiment simulating a marine MHW in the coastal water of southern China. After 8 days of the MHW (+3 o C) treatment, community biomass was significantly lower than the control's, and primary productivity per volume of water was reduced by about 56%. Nevertheless, the phytoplankton community retrieved its biomass and primary productivity after the temperature was subsequently reset to that of the control. Although the MHW treatment decreased the abundance of diatom and increased the percentages of Synechococcus and Prasinophytes, the main phytoplankton functional types showed positive resilience that allowed the recovery of the phytoplankton community after the MHW. Our results indicate that key phytoplankton functional types in the southern coastal waters of China exhibited significant resilience, recovery, and temporal stability under the influence of the marine MHW by 3 o C rise. However, reduced primary productivity during the MHW period, along with decreased biomass density, might significantly influence secondary producers.
