To overcome the difficulty and unprecedented suspensions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, every organization is required to consider strategic steps to sustain, one of which is by implementing digital transformation and developing leadership capability. This study aims to determine the impact of digital transformation and leadership capability in maintaining the organization, particularly in distance education. This study used questionnaires distributed to 402 students to obtain their opinions on digital transformation, leadership capability, and organizational resilience in Universitas Terbuka, a founder of distance education institutions in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using descriptive and Higher-Order Structural Equation Modeling analysis. Based on the modelling, it is shown that the modelling had a good value of the Goodness of Fit Indicator through a standardized loading factor (SLF) more than the tolerable loading factor limit (>0.50). The Variance Extracted (VE) and Construct Reliability (CR) values also showed that the questions on every indicator used in this study were sufficiently measurable and reliable. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that there was a positive and significant impact of digital transformation and leadership capability on the organizational resilience of Universitas Terbuka.

Becoming one of six official United Nations languages, English proficiency has become a prominent requirement for students and professionals entering international education and/ or careers, as assessed through standardized English proficiency tests. English learners conducted varied procedures to pursue the minimum test score criteria, including joining an English test preparation program. This study investigates the effect of English test preparation as an intervention on EFL learners' English language proficiency performance by reviewing the effect sizes found by previous studies using meta-analysis of pre-post contrasts. A total of 20 selected studies, according to the criteria determined by researchers between 2018-2021 and conducted in various countries, were collected from Google Scholar sources and included in the research. English language proficiency performance, as indicated by their test scores, is independent of the language skills tested with a p-value of less than 0.05 (p-value = 0.00) and an average weighted effect (M) that appears to be 0.859. This research implies that adequate test preparation is essential for English language learners who wish to achieve the desired level of proficiency. Apart from the ability to write, speak, and read, the psychological aspects of students are also important to prepare before they take the intended test.

Madura Island, comprising four regencies, exhibits a diverse array of agricultural resource potential, particularly in paddy, maize, cassava, and soybeans. Althought the Gross Regional Domestic Product assesses economic progress. it inadequately reflects the whole spectrum of potential within each region. A comprehensive observation of this diversity is required to facilitate a more focused development approach. This study aims to employ a hybrid hierarchical clustering method to delineate and classify the geographical regions of Madura Island according to their agricultural potential. K-means clustering, that part of hybrid hierarchical clustering approach was used to achieve aims of research. Number of farmers, land area, and commodities production were variable that used to classify regional based on its potentials. First, hierarchical method was performed to determine the appropriate number of clusters then K-means clustering was applied to classify the regions based on agricultural commodities. The results show effectively determined Madura Island's agricultural potential using the hybrid hierarchical clustering method, which categorizes locations based on characteristics of agricultural production. The research reveals six clusters, each characterized by a unique profile of primary commodity production, including paddy, corn, soybeans, and cassava. Implication of this result is offering insights into regional development of Madura based on agricultural potential.

Background. In competitive sports, especially basketball, physical attributes such as agility, speed, strength, and power are crucial for performance. Objectives. This study aimed to examine the correlation between fat-free mass (FFM), countermovement jump (CMJ) power, and maximum hamstring force in female basketball athletes, providing insights that could enhance performance and reduce injury risk. Materials and methods. This observational cross-sectional study investigates the relationship between fat-free mass (FFM), power, and maximum hamstring force in 45 female basketball athletes. The Anderson-Darling test for assessing normality and Spearman’s correlation for non-normally distributed data were used to conduct the study. Results. Significant correlations were found between FFM and maximum hamstring force in the both right (r = 0.585, p < 0.001) and left legs (r = 0.522, p < 0.001), as well as between (CMJ) power and maximum hamstring force for both legs (right: r = 0.467, p = 0.001; left: r = 0.434, p = 0.003). Additionally, power was significantly correlated with jump height (r = 0.604, p < 0.001). Conclusions. These findings suggest that FFM and power are critical determinants of hamstring strength and explosive performance in female basketball athletes.

The phenomenon of fluctuating chili prices can be resolved in stages, one of which is through multiple crosses. However, this cross requires precise methods in the evaluation and selection process, especially regarding fruit characteristics. Image-based phenotyping 4.0 approaches can increase the potential precision of such evaluation genotypes, especially when this approach is combined with multivariate analysis. Therefore, both methods are needed to evaluate and select these cayenne multiple crosses. This research aims to identify the effectiveness of multivariate analysis and image-based explanatory characteristics of fruit phenotypes and to select multiple crosses that can continue to the F2 generation. The research was designed with a randomized complete block design of ten F1 multiple cross-genotypes and four check varieties. Each genotype was repeated three times, so there were 42 experimental units. Based on the results, multivariate was considered adequate in determining image explanatory characters based on fruit phenotype and genotype mapping of the population diversity of multiple crosses of cayenne pepper. The characteristics of fruit height, fruit area, and fruit Intden are image-based explanatory characters that can map the completeness of cayenne pepper fruit between multiple crosses well. This indicates that image-based phenotyping and multivariate analysis can provide more detailed image information of the potential of cayenne fruit from multiple crosses than just based on fruit weight. Therefore, both approaches are recommended for analyzing cayenne paper fruit potential, especially for multiple crosses. In addition, three crosses (MC4, MC8, and MC9) are optimal for the next generation to be recommended and continued.

Abstrak: Ketersediaan buku ajar dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran menjadi hal yang penting dan harus disusun secara sistematis oleh seorang dosen untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaraan dan ketercapaian pembelajaran yang telah ditargetkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi secara mendalam mengenai kebutuhan awal mahasiswa akan pengembangan buku ajar digital berbasis flipbook. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yakni deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survey. Instrumen berupa keusioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diberikan pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya yang mengambil mata kuliah Teori Ekonomi Mikro di tahun 2024 dengan jumlah 68 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 95,6% mahasiswa membutuhkan untuk dilakukannya pengembangan sumber ajar inovatif untuk mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah dengan mengembangkan buku ajar digital berbasis flipbook. Hal ini disebabkan karena masih terdapat kendala dalam mempelajari mata kuliah ini, diantaranya kompleksitas materi perkuliahan yang membutuhkan kemampuan analitis dan keterampilan matematis, keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, serta keterbatasan sumber ajar yang tersedia. Hasil studi analisis kebutuhan ini akan dipergunakan peneliti sebagai dasar dalam mengembangkan buku ajar digital berbasis flipbook yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik mahasiswa, namun juga tetap menyesuaikan pada kurikulum dan capaian pembelajaran yang dibebankan di mata kuliah tersebut. Abstract: Availability of textbooks supporting the learning process is important and must be arranged systematically by a lecturer to improve the quality of learning and achievement of targeted learning. This research aims to obtain in-depth information regarding students' initial needs for developing digital-based textbooks flipbooks. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with survey techniques. The instrument in the form of a questionnaire used in this research was given to students of the Economic Education Study Program at FKIP Sriwijaya University who were taking the Microeconomic Theory course in 2024 with a total of 68 respondents. The research results indicate that 95.6% of students need to develop innovative teaching resources to support learning, one of which is developing flipbook-based digital textbooks. This is due to challenges in studying this course, including the complexity of lecture materials that require analytical skills and mathematical abilities, limited learning time, and a lack of available teaching resources. The results of this needs analysis study will be used by researchers as a basis for developing a digital-based textbook flipbook that follows the needs and characteristics of students, but also adapts to the curriculum and learning outcomes imposed in the course.

Background: Athletes must maintain top physical condition to compete, with body composition a crucial indicator. Skeletal muscle mass and body fat are related to performance, with a lower fat percentage increasing physical ability. Nutritional needs also play a role, where athletes consume carbohydrates for 60-70% of their energy. These factors are essential for optimal performance and overall health. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the body composition of junior basketball athletes regarding gender. Methods: This study employed a rigorous cross-sectional research design to analyze the body composition measurements of elite athletes and junior basketball players. The participants were carefully selected based on age, injury history, national-level achievements, and recent injury training. A total of 24 junior basketball athletes, evenly split between elite junior male and female athletes, participated in the test. The data was meticulously analyzed using Minitab software and the T-test to determine gender differences, ensuring the validity and reliability of the results. Results: The athletes were aged 16-17, weighing 50-65 kg to 95-108 kg. They had BMI characteristics of 8.3% underweight, 79.2% normal, 12.5% overweight, and 0% obese. Significant differences were found in body composition characteristics for each gender. The T-test results show significant differences between the variables with a P value

The Indonesian government's approach to tourism development is based on a growth strategy that aims to promote economic equality and enhance the population's welfare. This approach is also oriented towards regional development, which relies on the community and empowers local communities across various sectors. The principles of sustainable tourism are further elucidated by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Regulation Number 9 of 2021, which sets forth guidelines for sustainable tourism destinations. Sustainable tourism assessments must adhere to the guidelines for sustainable tourism destinations, given the pressing need for tourism development in Indonesia. The issue that arises in the management of beach tourism is how to guarantee the sustainability of beach tourism by the sustainable tourism destination guidelines. The objective of the preliminary assessment of tourist areas is to provide managers with initial guidance for enhancing Oecina beach management. The assessment of the sustainability status employed the sustainable tourism self-assessment platform Desti.id, comprising 175 questions distributed across four domains: governance, social and economic aspects, cultural aspects, and environmental aspects. The data analysis commenced with the administration of in-depth interviews, accompanied by questionnaires, to key informants and area managers. The study's findings are presented in the form of leverage factors, which can be employed to inform a strategy of gradual improvement. The results demonstrated that the status was unsustainable, with an average existing condition value of 20.45. It was thus necessary to implement improvements to 15 sensitive factors in the existing condition, which were to be achieved gradually through three sustainability scenarios.

ABSTRAK: Pembelajaran inovatif memfokuskan bagaimana proses pembelajaran berlangsung, bahan ajar dan media yang digunakan, dan penilaian yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran. Upaya pengembangan kemampuan menulis naskah drama dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengembangkan sebuah bahan ajar untuk membantu pembelajaran. Pengembangan bahan ajar menulis naskah drama dapat menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual agar pembelajarannya beserta contohnya yang lebih dekat dengan kehidupan nyata siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk bahan ajar menulis kreatif naskah drama dengan melihat aspek isi, bahasa, dan tampilan bahan ajar. Bahan ajar yang disajikan diintegrasikan dengan pembelajaran kontekstual. Penilaian yang disajikan dalam bahan ajar ini adalah penialain otentik yang nantinya akan bertujuan dapat melihat hasil belajar siswa secara proses. Penilaian dilakukan setiap kegiatan yang tertuang dalam bahan ajar karena penilaian yang digunakan dalam bahan ajar ini adalah penilaian proses. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan yang digagas oleh Borg and Gall yaitu reserch dan development (RD). RD ini memilik 7 langkah pengembangan, yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan draft produk, uji coba lapangan, revisi, uji coba langan yang pada tahap ini uji praktisi dan uji pengguna, dan penyempurnaan produk. Pada saat validasi kepa ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata 91%. Hasil validasi pada ahli oembelajaran dan tampilan mendapatkan rerata 77% dari aspek isi, 76% dari kelayakan bahasa, dan 89% dari aspek penyajian. Hasil validasi lapangan diperoleh rerata 77%. Dari hasil validasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar menulis naskah drama ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. INNOVATIVE LEARNING IN DRAMA SCRIPT WRITING ABSTRACT: Innovative learning focuses on how the learning process takes place, the teaching materials and media used, and the assessment carried out in learning. Efforts to develop the ability to write drama scripts can be done by developing teaching materials to assist learning. The development of teaching materials for writing drama scripts can use a contextual approach so that learning and its examples are closer to students' real lives. The purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials for creative writing of drama scripts by looking at aspects of content, language, and appearance of teaching materials. The teaching materials presented are integrated with contextual learning. The assessment presented in this teaching material is an authentic assessment that will aim to see student learning outcomes in the process. The assessment is carried out every activity contained in the teaching materials because the assessment used in this teaching material is a process assessment. . This research uses development research initiated by Borg and Gall, namely research and development (RD). This RD has 7 development steps, namely research and data collection, planning, product draft development, field trials, revision, field trials which at this stage are practitioner tests and user tests, and product improvement. At the time of validation to the material expert got an average of 91%. The results of validation on learning and display experts get an average of 77% from the content aspect, 76% from language feasibility, and 89% from the presentation aspect. The results of field validation obtained an average of 77%. From the validation results, it shows that the teaching materials for writing drama scripts are suitable for use in learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of women's leadership on banking productivity with artificial intelligence (AI) as a mediator. This study involved 90 employees of Bank SulSelBar Makassar, where the entire population was sampled (saturated sample). The method used is quantitative, using primary data collected through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used structural equation modeling (SEM) to evaluate the relationship between variables with the help of SmartPLS software version 3.0. The study results indicate that women's leadership positively affects banking productivity and the implementation of AI. However, the implementation of AI itself does not affect banking productivity. AI cannot mediate the influence of women's leadership on banking productivity. This study advises banks to continue supporting inclusive women's leadership and adopt advanced technology to increase productivity. Theoretically, this study does not support the assumption that technology such as AI will automatically increase productivity without considering the context of leadership. The application of AI needs to be carried out optimally by considering the technology's suitability for banking needs.

Ship crew members are responsible for the arrival of ship to the final destination safely during the voyage, irrespective of the various marine environmental conditions such as wavy sea, wind strength, direction, currents, and tides which supports or hinders navigation. Adequate crew competence is essential to navigate these challenges effectively. Therefore, this research examined the relationship between marine environmental conditions and ship crew competence in controlling the ship. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 175 crew members of an Indonesian-flagged merchant ship and analyzed using the SEM-SmartPLS method. The results showed a positive and significant influence between marine environmental conditions and crew competence with coefficients of 0.818 and 0.212, respectively. Furthermore, both marine environmental conditions and crew competence showed a moderate effect on ship management, as illustrated by an R square value of 0.362.

Objectives. The application of technology in sports, including combat sports, is increasing rapidly. This study aimed to determine the validity and reliability of digital punch-measuring tools in young combat athletes. Materials and methods. A total of 28 participants, consisting of 9 males (age 15.88 ± 1.6 years, height 162.56 ± 6.8 cm, weight 55.2 ± 10.2 kg, BMI 20.7 ± 2.5, PBF 14.57 ± 4.5%) and 19 females (age 14.5 ± 1.5 years, height 154.3 ± 5.4 cm, weight 48.6 ± 8.5 kg, BMI 20.4 ± 3.2, PBF 27.4 ± 6.5 %) from the martial arts branch involved in the study and were included in data collection. The method used in this study was the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient, analyzed using Minitab version 21. All research subjects engaged in a warm-up routine before performing three punches with both their right and left arms. Results. The findings of this study indicate positive validity (right 0.856, left 0.875) and reliability (right 0.8037, left 0.8209) in measuring both right and left punches. Conclusions. Thus, digital punch measuring tools can be used for training to improve punches and as an initial test tool for implementing effective training programs and monitoring the development of combat athletes.

Gymnastics is one of the sports requiring the right composition of body posture to support its best performance. For this reason, coaches and athletes should know anthropometric profiles to improve their performance in championships. This study aimed to analyze the effect of anthropometric profiles on the performance of gymnastics athletes. This research is correlation research involving 17 youth gymnastic athletes in West Java (average age of 19.7). The sampling technique used the saturated sampling technique. The instruments included anthropometric measurement tests and gymnastics performance tests referring to the Code of Points (COP) set by the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG). The results showed that there was a significant correlation between anthropometric profiles and the athlete performance. The effects of anthropometric correlation variables were height of 0.678, weight of 0.487, BMI of -0.777, LiLA of 0.605, and abdominal circumference of -0.513. The results obtained the significance level of height on exercise performance of .003 0.05, body weight on exercise performance of .047 0.05, BMI on exercise performance of 0 0.05, upper arm circumference on exercise performance of .010 0.05, and circumference of abdomen on exercise performance of .035 0.05. This study concludes that there is a significant effect of anthropometric profiles on the performance of gymnastics athletes.

The development of nanotechnology in the world is very rapid, and the applications of nanotechnology can be felt in various fields in everyday life. For instance, to control food, nanotechnology plays a role in creating early detection tools for food additives, which are known to be dangerous if consumed by humans in excess, such as the presence of colorants that are not permitted or food additives that exceed tolerance limits. Nanosensors based on screen print electrodes (SPE) are devices that can be used for detection with various notable properties such as fast, sensitive and portable. Seeing the importance of developing and down streaming nanotechnology to society, education regarding the role of nanotechnology needs to be carried out. In this activity, nanotechnology applied in the manufacture of nanosensor devices was introduced, especially to analysts at the drug and food control center and the health service. Apart from that, through this activity, sustainable collaboration can be established between the community service team who are researchers in the field of nanosensors and users in the field who are drug and food regulatory bodies, to develop nanosensor technology according to needs in the field. This activity will be carried out in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, specifically aimed at pharmacists and analysts in the drug and food control center, health service, and industry and trade service (Disperindag). This activity will include education about nanotechnology applications in various fields as well as a demonstration on the use of SPE-based naosensor devices. From this event, in future the analyst may do the analysis in field without waiting long time analysis in laboratory. From this community service activities, scientific articles and publications can be produced in print/electronic media, as well as videos of community service activities, in accordance with the main performance indicators determined nationally.

Santen Island Beach in the Banyuwangi Regency of Indonesia possesses immense potential for beach tourism. Unfortunately, the charm of this destination has been marred by inadequate waste management. This paper outlines a community service program aimed at enhancing awareness, understanding, and active participation of local community groups in addressing waste management issues by transforming waste into ecobrick greenhouses. The program employed various methods, including lectures, discussions, and brainstorming sessions, which were conducted on Pulau Santen Beach with a focus on the local population. The application of a local development model was central to our community service activities, resulting in increased understanding, awareness, and participation among the target groups. The heightened involvement was marked by enthusiastic participation in ecobrick production, effective household waste sorting (particularly plastic waste), and the formation of committed cadres. The local community exhibited increased knowledge through their ability to respond to questions and plan follow-up actions. This initiative significantly improved the knowledge, awareness, and engagement of the target community in managing waste and converting it into ecobricks.

Abstract Background The incidence of vitamin D deficiency among pregnant women remains high and is associated with vitamin D deficiency in infants. In normally breastfed infants, Bifidobacteriaceae and Lactobacillaceae are known to help in maintaining immunotolerance and prevent infection. Vitamin D in the gastrointestinal tract plays a role in determining the composition and function of intestinal bacteria. Preterm infants are vulnerable to intestinal dysbiosis and sepsis due to bacterial translocation. This study aimed to determine the association between vitamin D levels and intestinal dysbiosis. Methods It was a cohort study conducted in the Neonatal Unit, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Tertiary hospital in Indonesia, from November 2019 to January 2021. The inclusion criteria in this study were preterm infants with a gestational age of less than 32 weeks or a birth weight of less than 1500 g. Total 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) levels were collected from the umbilical cords of very preterm or very low birth weight infants. A fecal examination was performed on the seventh day of life to assess intestinal bacteria using real-time PCR for four bacterial genera: Bifidobacteriaceae, Lactobacillaceae, Enterobacteriaceae, and Clostridiaceae. Results A total of 43 infants were included in this study. Among the subjects, 53.4% had vitamin D deficiency. There was no association identified between vitamin D deficiency and intestinal dysbiosis (RR 0.67; 95% CI (0.15–2.82), p-value = 0.531). However, the ratio of Lactobacillacecae to Enterobacteriaceae was lower in those with vitamin D deficiency. Conclusion Vitamin D deficiency was not associated with dysbiosis in preterm infants. However, this study found that the ratio of Lactobacillaceae to Enterobacteriaceae in those with vitamin D deficiency was lower than in those without vitamin D deficiency. Further research is warranted to confirm this finding.

Every year, the library must be buying books in order to increase the collection of books that are in the libraries. When purchasing books, it is necessary to make various considerations so that the books that will be used are relevant to the needs of students and lecturers in academic activities. The procurement of books in the library is still done manually with book selection carried out by the librarians is still one-on-one of the list of submissions of books that have been made by the lecturer. Therefore, there is a need to have a renewal of the system of book acquisition in the libraries one of which uses the decision support system in the process of the book acquisitions. In this study the decision support system used is the MOORA method in determining the rating of the recommendation book to be held. The alternative submission data will be obtained from the library's proposal with the book data from the publisher's book collection. The study uses five criteria for book acquisition, including book price, year of publication, book stock, number of book proposals, and availability of books. This decision support system will provide a recommendation for purchase of books from the alternative data for book submission that will be calculated using the MOORA method to obtain any book recommendation that matches the criteria and budget of the book procurement. Accuracy level testing using the Confusion Matrix by comparing the results of manual calculations with the system to obtain 100% accuracy.

Kebakaran hutan dan lahan semakin sering terjadi, menyebabkan dampak lingkungan yang menyebar ke luar wilayah kebakaran. Permasalahan yang terjadi salah satunya karena musim kemarau yang panjang di wilayah Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir Provinsi Sumatra Selatan yang menjadi faktor utama dalam meningkatnya risiko kebakaran, sebanyak 1.111 titik kebakaran tercatat pada tahun 2023. Permasalahan lainnya juga pada titik panas yang salah mendeteksi kebakaran yang seharusnya tidak kebakaran dan kasus tidak kebakaran yang seharusnya kebakaran, hal tersebut menyebabkan kerugian lingkungan maupun kerugian dana. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan model klasifikasi untuk memprediksi kasus kebakaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan gabungan data titik panas dan data iklim sebanyak 4343 data menggunakan metode Random Forest. Proses yang dilakukan yaitu studi literatur dan tahapan prediksi yang terdiri dari web scraping, data pre-processing, splitting data, pemodelan, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian berupa laporan klasifikasi, confusion matrix, dan feature importance. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat akurasi model yang baik sebesar 85.8% yang menunjukkan model menghitung seberapa tepat kinerja yang dilakukan model. Dengan penerapan model menggunakan metode Random Forest, model prediksi ini mengidentifikasi kasus kebakaran sangat baik sehingga informasi ini dapat digunakan untuk keputusan manajemen penanggulangan kebakaran dengan tepat dan meminimalisir terjadinya kerugian.

Cultural heritage conceptually addresses the conservation of physical and non-physical dimensions. Heritage conservation generally intends to create pleasant spatial experiences and socio-culturally friendly living environments while accommodating contemporary needs. Conservation frameworks for protecting urban fabric driven by physical authenticity and expert judgment need to pay increased attention to public-based assessment experiences to improve people’s perspectives on the quality of urban historic areas. The notions of inclusive conservation posit that community understanding is essential for appreciating historic urban areas due to various social, cultural, historical, and political conditions. According to public narratives and perspectives, this study describes the types of urban historic districts perceived as attractive. The investigation uses the qualitative method to analyze data from 170 participants obtained through an online questionnaire and content analysis methods with open, axial, and selective coding. The findings reveal that from the public perspective of environmental quality assessment, historic districts are categorized under three types according to attractiveness. Three types of historic areas are vibrant, relaxing, and dull districts. As such, the study emphasizes the importance of human sensory experience in urban planning and design and its consequences for urban heritage conservation.

The changing meaning of the Njalang tradition within the Nasal clan community in Kaur Regency, Bengkulu, demonstrates significant social and cultural dynamics. Originally, the Njalang tradition was a personal pilgrimage activity limited to specific times such as Eid al-Fitr. However, it has now transformed into a structured and organized mass pilgrimage event. This study aims to understand the process of this change and the meanings now associated with the Njalang tradition. Using an ethnographic communication approach, the research focuses on the interactions and collaborations that occur among individuals in the context of the Njalang tradition. The researcher was directly involved with the study subjects to observe and interpret the meaning of this traditional transformation. The research question raised is how communication processes and actions occur during the implementation of the Njalang mass pilgrimage in the Nasal community, Kaur Regency. The findings of this study reveal that the Njalang mass pilgrimage tradition now holds various meanings that have evolved over time, including as a spiritual medium, a means of fostering social ties, and in the current context, as a tool for cultural preservation and cultural tourism. The implementation process of the Njalang pilgrimage involves a series of activities starting from pre-implementation meetings, announcements, social services, and the main event on the second day of Eid al-Fitr in the month of Shawwal. This transformation reflects the dynamic cultural adaptation within the Nasal community and highlights how local traditions can serve as complex and multifaceted cultural communication tools.

Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is a non-destructive tool for exploring an object buried underground. Currently, GPR is also considered for reinforced concrete inspection. However, the image produced by GPR can not be easily interpreted. Besides, the large observation of building concrete inspection also motivates the researchers to fastening and easing radar image interpretation. Thus, this research proposes a new method to translate GPR scattering data image to its internal structure visualization. The proposed employs a convolutional autoencoder model using amplitude and phase radar data as input of the algorithm. As evaluation, in this stage, we perform numerical analysis by using finite-difference time-domain-based synthetic data that considers three cases: concrete with rebar, concrete with crack, and concrete with rebar and crack. All of those cases are simulated with randomized dimensions and positions that is possible in the real applications. Compared with the baseline method, our method shows superiority, especially in the semantic segmentation perspective. The parameter size of the proposed model is also much smaller, around one-third of the previous method. Therefore, the method is feasible enough to be implemented in real applications addressing an automatic internal structure reinforced concrete visulaization

Background: Merchants sell a variety of food for schoolchildren. In an attempt to make the food they offer more enticing and long-lasting, dealers frequently add food additives, sometimes prohibited food additives which is against the law. Predisposing conditions affect the addition of additives to snacks. Objectives: The study aimed to determine the factors that influence the addition of food ingredients not allowed by snack vendors in snacks sold around elementary schools Methods: This study used a survey approach with a cross-sectional design. The 99 traders that made up the study's sample were chosen randomly. The use of food additives was the dependent variable and the independent variables were gender, education, knowledge, age, and length of selling. Test kits were used in laboratories to analyze snack samples sold by traders in order to identify food additives (formalin, borax, Rhodamine B, and Yellow Methanol). Multivariate, bivariate, and univariate analysis were used in the research process. The multiple logistic regression with 95% Confident Interval and chi-square statistical tests were employed in this investigation. Results: The number of snacks checked by test-kit with the result was 21.2% of snacks containing prohibited food additives with a good level of knowledge on the sword as much as 52.5%. The results of the chi-square test statistics for knowledge (p=0.001), age (p=0.010), length of sale (p=0.022) was related to the use of prohibited food additives. The results of multivariate analysis showed that knowledge was the most influential factor in the use of food additives. Conclusions: Traders' knowledge about the use of food additives was the main factor, besides that relate factors were age and length of selling.

The aim of this service activity is Technology Transfer for using tools to make coconut fish floss to make it more practical. Carrying out counseling, training and demonstrations as well as assistance regarding the shredded production process using a shredded mixer, using labeled packaging and simple bookkeeping training. The results of this service activity can provide an understanding of shredded mixer tools, provide skills in processing fish floss and packaging with labels so that the product loks attractive and can increase sales and partner understanding in terms of financial recording.

This community service aims to socialize the concept of digital promotion to introduce the Cempaka Tegal tourist village to the community in a wider area, both locally, nationally and internationally. The method of implementing this service uses socialization and benchmarking. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews which were then analyzed descriptively. The results of this activity showed that the practice of implementing digital promotion of tourist attractions in the Samara province of Moscow, Russia can be applied to introduce Cempaka Tegal Slumpring Market Tourism to all corners of the world. The digital promotional practices include creating official websites for tourist attractions, utilizing social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, utilizing virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technology, collaborating with influencers and travel bloggers, optimizing search engines (SEO) and provide a tourist village tourism application. Some of these promotional media have now been implemented, such as Facebook (Desa Wisata Cempaka, n.d.), Instagram (instagram.com/explore/locations/351643408686716/), collaboration with travel bloggers (Agus Fadilah, n.d.).

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesulitan belajar matematika yang dialami oleh siswa, dengan salah satu aspek pendukungnya adalah motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar matematika yang dialami oleh 36 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 37 Kota Bekasi. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan populasi sebanyak 45 siswa dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tulis, angket, dan wawancara. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar matematika terbagi menjadi tiga kategori utama: 83% siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep, 100% siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menggunakan prinsip, dan 33% siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal dalam bentuk verbal. Selain itu, motivasi belajar siswa berada pada tingkat sedang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 59,4%. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa meskipun tingkat kesulitan belajar matematika bergantung pada masing-masing individu, motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh positif dalam menurunkan tingkat kesulitan yang dialami siswa.

The enactment of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages introduces a distinct dimension to the democratization process within villages, emphasizing recognition and subsidiarity that portrays villages not merely as geographic entities but as integral parts of their socio-cultural communities. Currently, the formulation of village regulations as a manifestation of village autonomy remains a stagnant process. This article aims to critically examine the development of village regulations within the framework of village democratization, employing doctrinal research methods alongside statutory and conceptual approaches. Findings reveal that village regulations constitute a subset of statutory regulations, incorporating provisions from higher-level frameworks while embodying community participation grounded in village-specific authority and rights. The transformation prompted by Law Number 6 of 2014 enhances the scope for village democratization, influencing the formulation of regulations that must meet both substantive and procedural requirements, thus presenting villages with opportunities and challenges in realizing local democratization effectively.

Road crack detection is critical to road infrastructure maintenance, requiring sophisticated and accurate approaches. This research explores the utilization of a combination of Wavelet and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) methods to improve efficiency and accuracy in detecting cracks in road images. The wavelet method was chosen for its capability to capture information at different scales, enabling improved feature extraction. Meanwhile, CNN was utilized to comprehend the spatial context and tackle image complexity. The research involves several stages, including data collection, pre-processing, decomposition using the Wavelet method, forming of the CNN architecture model, training, testing, and evaluating the result. The tested images involve three main types of cracks: alligator, linear, and images without cracks. The testing results show that the developed model is capable of classifying cracks with an F1-score of 0.96, recall of 0.96, and precision of 0.96. In real-time detection of road cracks, the testing obtained an F1-score of 0.84, recall of 0.92, and precision of 0.77. This research contributes to the advancement of road crack detection technology by leveraging the capabilities of Wavelet and CNN, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of crack detection in road maintenance.

In the last few years, much research has focused on the stability and improvement of the thermo-physical properties of single-component nanofluids. Some studies have not made many improvements to the stability and thermophysical properties of various types of green nanofluids from several variations of nanoparticles. Green nanofluids must be developed to improve heat transfer performance from their stability and thermal conductivity factors. Stability and thermal conductivity of Nano-silicate suspended in a base mixture of water /ethylene glycol with the ratio of 60:40, different volume concentrations were investigated. The experiments carried out were the stability of the green nanofluids investigated for volume concentrations of 0.1~0.3% and temperature conditions from 30 to 70°C for thermal conductivity measurement using TEMPOS Thermal Properties Analyzer. The experimental results showed that the stability analysis of the green nanofluids prepared by the UV-Vis method was stable up to 30 days after preparation with a sonication time of 1 hour with a ratio of 70-80%. The evaluation of the zeta potential for green nanofluids obtained a value of 33.57 mV with a moderate stability classification. The highest thermal conductivity for the green nanofluids was obtained at 0.3%, and the maximum increase was 17% higher than that of the base liquid (W/EG). Green nanofluids with a concentration of 0.1% gave the lowest effective thermal conductivity of 1.09 time at 70°C.

Penelitian tentang karakteristik batuan beku dapat berkontribusi pada penelitian lanjut tentang potensi sumber daya lainnya yang terkait dengan fenomena magmatisme, khususnya di lokasi yang memiliki sejarah magmatisme cukup panjang seperti di bagian barat Pulau Jawa. Studi karakteristik petrologi batuan beku pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel yang diperoleh dari Cikalongkulon, Cianjur, Jawa Barat; sebuah lokasi dengan kompleks tubuh intrusi yang membentang hampir Barat-Timur. Dilakukan pengamatan lapangan dan petrografi guna menghasilkan sintesis terkait interaksi antaran tubuh batuan beku dan batuan samping di daerah penelitian. Dari observasi didapati bahwa terdapat metasomatisme yang terjadi akibat proses intrusi andesit terhadap batuan samping. Proses ini terjadi pada rentang suhu 270-320°C yang ditandai oleh kemunculan mineral sekunder berupa klorit, serisit, kalsit, kuarsa, dan epidot. Keberadaan metasomatisme ini juga mengindikasikan bahwa umur tubuh intrusi andesit harus lebih muda dari Miosen Tengah, berbeda dari interpretasi awal pada Peta Geologi Lembar Cianjur yang menempatkan tubuh batuan beku lebih tua dari batuan sedimen di sekitarnya.

Designing microstrip antennas with wide bandwidth and low-frequency capabilities presents several challenges. These difficulties mainly arise due to the relatively small size of the microstrip in comparison to the operating frequency. Therefore, achieving a combination of enhanced bandwidth and lowerfrequency cut-off becomes crucial to support a broad frequency range of communication technologies. This paper presents a method for enhancing the bandwidth of a circular microstrip antenna based on an inverted C-shaped ground configuration. The proposed method successfully creates an antenna with extended bandwidth while lowering the operating frequency. The antenna was simulated and then fabricated using an RO5880 duroid substrate with a relative permittivity of 2.2, a thickness of 1.575 mm, and a loss tangent of 0.0009. The simulation and measurement results demonstrate that the antenna can operate effectively within a wide frequency range of 3.5 GHz to 18 GHz. Additionally, utilizing this method enables the antenna to function at even lower frequencies and wider bandwidth without the need for additional dimensions.

Salted egg is one of the egg types that has a lot of devotees because it tastes a little salty and savory. Salted eggs are usually homemade in various regions. The easy process of making them has attracted many people to do so. This study developed a PLC-based on automatic system for a salted egg maker using the osmotic pressure method to accelerate the opening of the semi-permeable membrane on duck eggshells so that the salting mixture seeps into the eggs more quickly. It was carried out in an osmotic pool containing water and acetic acid at a concentration of 5%. The data collection process in designing the salted egg maker consisted of evaluating the performance of photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, temperature controller, thermostat set point, baking time, and salted egg durability test. The results of the tests indicated that the time needed to make salted eggs from raw eggs to cooked eggs only took 36 minutes using the machine designed. Additionally, the presented salted egg maker reveals the short making time, and long salted egg durability. altogether revealing full potential to be easily used for practical applications.

This article aims to provide a comprehensive and trustworthy HVC model for Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) by considering the role of digital technologies, legislation, finance, and research and development. To give a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter, we employed quantitative research methods. We used a sample based on the database of The Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body (BPJPH) to collect data from 278 respondents. Our respondents are located in thirteen different Indonesian cities who run MSMEs and from various backgrounds, such as practitioners, associations, legislators, academics, and other pertinent stakeholders. According to our findings, research and development have a negligible impact on halal chain performance, while halal value chain elements have a considerable impact. Previous HVC research has primarily been descriptive, characterizing situations or concepts or reviewing literature, with little empirical assessment of the relationship between significant halal value chain aspects and value chain performance. Our research contributes in filling this gap.

Native adlay flour lacks the characteristics that give it grittiness when applied to food products, which can be improved by flour modifications using the fermentation method. This study aimed to evaluate the characteristics of new gluten-free cookies made from native and modified adlay flours and compare them to those made from wheat flour. Adlay flour was modified by fermentation using various Rhizopus sp. inoculum concentrations: 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5% (w/w). The modified adlay flour using 1.5% (w/w) Rhizopus sp. inoculum was selected for application in making gluten-free cookies because of its most suitable characteristics, including lower pasting temperature, resistance to retrogradation, good thermal stability, and favorable functional properties such as high swelling volume, solubility, and water and oil absorption capacities. In making cookies, the treatments were the type of flour used, namely native adlay flour cookies (NAFC), modified adlay flour cookies (MAFC), and wheat flour cookies (WFC) as a control. All cookies were made using the same recipe; the only difference was the type of flour used. The results showed that MAFC has higher fat and crude fiber however lower protein content than WFC. The MAFC was not significantly different (p ≥ 0.05) from WFC in hardness and fracturability. The sensory evaluation showed that MAFC did not have significant differences (p ≥ 0.05) in texture, mouthfeel, aftertaste, and overall acceptance compared to WFC. Fermentation modification of adlay flour can eliminate grittiness in gluten-free cookies.

AbstractThis study examines the impact of green banking disclosure on firms’ sustainable growth. The methodology used is panel data analysis with a sample of 45 banks in Indonesia, a total of 578 observations from 2004 to 2021, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data are taken from annual reports, financial reports, corporate sustainability reports, and government publications. The results show that GBDI has a negative effect on SGR, suggesting that green banking disclosures, although necessary, require resource allocation that could potentially reduce the firm’s growth capacity. This study also analyzed the moderating variables of firm size (FSIZE) and firm age (FAGE) to determine their effect on the relationship between GBDI and SGR. However, the results show that neither FSIZE nor FAGE significantly strengthen this relationship. However, FAGE strengthens the relationship between GBDI and SGR for state-owned banks. This study adds novelty to the research by highlighting the importance of understanding how sustainability disclosure affects firm growth, especially in green banking.

AbstractTechnology innovations shift toward using cleaner and more convenient prime energy and energy converter appliances. It has driven some lower-middle-income countries to switch from fossil fuels to electricity. However, Indonesians don’t feel the urgency to switch from liquified petroleum gas (LPG)-fueled cookware to electricity. This study aims to: (1) explore usefulness (USE), ease of use (EOU), and time-oriented convenience (TOC) as antecedents of functional value (FUNC), recognition value (RECV), emotional value (EMOV), and epistemic value (EPIV); (2) examine the moderating effect of conditional value (CODV) on the intention to switch cooking energy (INT). A cross-sectional study gathered 290 valid questionnaires from households in Jakarta and other provincial capitals in Java.The PLS-SEM approach was applied to examine hypotheses and analyze gender, age, and region segmentation. The results reveal the impact of both USE and TOC on FUNC, RECV, and EMOV. Moreover, EOU and TOC positively influence EPIV. The linear relationship between USE and EPIV and between RECV and INT is insignificant. However, a quadratic relationship exists. This study shows that conditional value moderates the relationship between emotional value and switching intention. Additionally, gender has an impact on the influence of EOU and TOC on EPIV, indicating the presence of heterogeneity. These findings contribute to conceptual advancement in behavior science by integrating TAM, TCV, and VAM. Furthermore, it illuminates relationships between USE, EOU, TOC, consumption values, and intention. In addition, it gives professionals in the consumer electronics industry greater confidence in developing product appeal, segmenting products, and creating persuasive promotions.

Purpose: Sustainable finance and carbon taxation represent a rich field of research. However, existing reviews are often constrained, offering piecemeal insights drawn from subsets of the literature rather than the entire body of work on these topics. To address this gap, this study seeks to comprehensively map the research dynamics surrounding carbon taxation and sustainable finance. By employing big data analytics and machine learning to analyze scholarly research, it explores the evolution of the field, assesses the impact of key publications, and examines collaborative efforts that drive innovation. Method: This study employs bibliometric methods, using R Studio software, to analyze publication data from 2020 to 2024. It identifies keywords, emerging trends, author collaborations, and contributions from various countries. Result: The findings reveal a significant increase in research on carbon taxation and sustainable finance, with China emerging as the largest contributor. The analysis also uncovers key trends in topics such as economic development and carbon dioxide emissions, which are central to global discussions. Furthermore, the findings emphasize the importance of international collaboration in tackling climate change and promoting economic sustainability. This study not only enriches academic literature but also offers valuable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders addressing environmental and economic sustainability challenges. Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: This research offers valuable insights for policymakers to promote environmentally friendly economic growth strategies through carbon tax policies and sustainable finance initiatives.

Tanaman eceng gondok yang berkembang biak dengan cepat dapat mengganggu lalu lintas (transportasi) air, meningkatnya penguapan, dan hilangnya air melalui daun-daunnya. Selain itu, tanaman eceng gondok yang mati dan terjatuh ke dasar perairan akan berakibat dalam peningkatan percepatan pendangkalan perairan, dan berkurangnya nilai keindahan lingkungan perairan. Oleh karena itu, ada manfaat dari penggunaan eceng gondok, seperti sebagai bahan tambahan untuk campuran beton. Untuk melakukan pengujian laboratorium, ditambahkan eceng gondok yang sudah berbentuk butiran atau serbuk pada beton dalam jumlah nol, satu, lima, dan sepuluh persen. Uji kuat tekan beton dilakukan dengan mutu K-175 selama 7 hari, 21 hari, dan 28 hari. Hasilnya adalah 10,78 Mpa, 10,39 Mpa, 6,35 Mpa, dan 1,92 Mpa pada hari ke-7, sementara pada hari ke-21, nilainya adalah 13,56 Mpa, 12,51 Mpa, 6,54 Mpa, dan 3,08 Mpa. Global warming is a pressing issue. NASA has predicted that 15 Southeast Asian islands will be submerged by 2100, as a result of a 0.77 cm increase in global sea levels from 2022 to 2023. Global temperatures were 1.48°C higher than pre-industrial levels in 2023. Indonesia must increase the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. By 2030, energy consumption will rise by 3% and power demand by 8.5%, with fossil fuels meeting two-thirds of demand and CO2 emissions rising 35%. This study evaluates the techno-economic feasibility of a 60 MW Indonesian Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) geothermal power plant using carbon credits. Indonesia’s geothermal potential is 40% of global resources, but high upfront costs, insufficient regulatory support, and technical obstacles limit development. Flexible and efficient ORC geothermal power generation provides steady baseload power for low to medium-temperature resources. This study applies RETScreen software for techno-economic analysis, sensitivity, and risk assessment to analyze project feasibility under multiple scenarios. Initial costs, operation and maintenance expenditures, energy generation, and GHG reductions are analyzed in detail. Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) were calculated for four scenarios: minimal incentives, increased carbon credit incentives, extended project lifespan with tax benefits, and optimized scenarios with high carbon credit prices. With a pre-tax equity IRR of 20.7% and an NPV of $97.52 million, the project is commercially viable at $2/ton CO2 in Indonesia. Raising the carbon credit price to $18/ton CO2 boosts IRR to 26.1% and NPV to $142.74 million. An equity payback period of 2.9 years and decreased LCOE is achieved by extending the project lifespan to 30 years and using a carbon credit price of $46/ton CO2. These data show how carbon price affects geothermal investment profitability. Optimizing geothermal exploration and adopting innovative technologies can cut expenses and speed up progress. Inspired by the Philippines and Kenya, government incentives, tax cuts, and faster approvals can make geothermal projects financially viable, helping Indonesia reach its 2060 zero carbon emissions objective.

Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) represents the total worth of a customer to a company over time, aiding businesses in resource allocation and tailored marketing for profitability. This literature review fills a research gap by examining how customer risk factors are integrated into CLV calculations. We conducted a systematic literature review across databases, adhering to strict criteria for relevance and quality. The review analyzed CLV methodologies and outcomes, highlighting the use of mean–variance analysis to optimize customer portfolios, with customer income fluctuations identified as a major risk factor. The study also explores the evolution of CLV research, particularly in the application of Machine Learning (ML) for risk-adjusted CLV. Our findings offer a comprehensive overview, laying the groundwork for future research and helping businesses refine risk management strategies, identify high-risk customers, and enhance customer value through more dynamic, data-driven models.
