In modern regional development, food security remains a critical global problem, the solution of which dictates the need for a comprehensive approach to the assessment of factors modelling the situation. The high dependence of food markets on the geopolitical situation in the countries that produce agricultural raw materials makes it necessary to search for new suppliers and new ways to increase production. Countries with predominantly agricultural specialization of regions are now getting an opportunity to occupy the vacated market niches and enter the world food markets. It becomes obvious that there is a new round of interregional interaction and establishment of trade relations between producers and suppliers of agricultural products, as well as the development of new agrofood systems.

This article deals with approaches to the definition of the concept of tax residency and legal consequences of the loss of tax residency status by an individual. The article analyzes the main types of tax jurisdictions, as well as the criteria of tax residency applied in different states. In the course of the analysis the authors consider examples of specific acts of national and international regulation, as well as relevant law enforcement practice. Special attention is paid to reasons for the loss of tax residency status, as well as the main (most significant) consequences of such loss and some related aspects.

Squamous cell lung cancer (SCLC) occurs as a result of dysregenerative changes in the bronchial epithelium: basal cell hyperplasia (BCH), squamous cell metaplasia (SM), and dysplasia. We previously suggested that combinations of precancerous changes detected in the small bronchi of patients with SCLC may reflect various "scenarios" of the precancerous process: isolated BCH→stopping at the stage of hyperplasia, BCH+SM→progression of hyperplasia into metaplasia, SM+dysplasia→progression of metaplasia into dysplasia. In this study, DNA methylome of various forms of precancerous changes in the bronchial epithelium of SCLC patients was analyzed using the genome-wide bisulfite sequencing. In BCH combined with SM, in contrast to isolated BCH, differentially methylated regions were identified in genes of the pathogenetically significant MET signaling pathway (RNMT, HPN). Differentially methylated regions affecting genes involved in inflammation regulation (IL-23, IL-23R, IL12B, IL12RB1, and FIS1) were detected in SM combined with dysplasia in comparison with SM combined with BCH. A large-scale search for the genetic variants with a bias in the representation of alleles in transcriptome data (AE SNPs) and the binding sites in microRNA 3'-UTRs was performed and their functional significance was assessed using massively parallel reporter assay (MPRA). Of the 629,559 associated "SNP-gene" pairs (eQTLs) discovered in the human liver tissue according to the GTEx Analysis V8 data, 4394 polymorphic positions in the 3'-UTRs of the genes, which represent the eQTLs for these genes were selected. The TargetScanHuman 7.0 algorithm and PolymiRTS database were searched for the potential microRNA-binding sites. Of the predicted microRNA sites affected by eQTL-SNPs, we selected 51 sites with the best evidence of functionality according to Ago2-CLIP-seq, CLEAR-CLIP, and eCLIP-seq for RNA-binding proteins. For MPRA, a library of the plasmids carrying the main and alternative alleles for each AE SNP (in total, 102 constructs) was created. Allele-specific expression for 6 SNPs was detected by transfection of the HepG2 cell line with the constructed plasmid library and sequencing of target DNA and RNA sequences using the Illumina (MiSeq) platform., (© 2024.
