This document describes the calculation procedure for selecting the optimal parameters of the boom lifting mechanism in agricultural machinery. A boom lifting scheme was developed. Studies have been carried out to find the optimal values of linear dimensions and angle, at which the required value of the force developed by the drive when lifting the boom with a hydraulic cylinder of the specified dimensions will be minimal. Based on the results of the study, an algorithm was developed for solving the optimization of boom lifting parameters. An expression is obtained for the objective function of optimizing the boom lifting mechanism. Algorithm for selection of optimal parameters of lifting mechanism considering weight of boom, hydraulic cylinder and rod has been developed.

The document discusses the methodology for calculating the optimal parameters of a tracked forest loader. Based on the data obtained, a mathematical model of the kinematics of machine drives was compiled when the cargo was released "through itself." As a result of the work, changes in the demand for force on the boom lifting hydraulic cylinder and graphs of the dependence of the forces of the hydraulic cylinders on the angles of rotation of the boom and rocker were built. Based on the results of the work, conclusions were made about the change in the moments changed by the cargo.

This paper presents the quality requirements for the treatment of diesel fuel to reduce environmental pollution. The total operating costs of the conventional diesel treatment system are considered. The results of the dependence of the components of the costs and the total costs of cleaning diesel fuel on the quality of preliminary cleaning are summarized. A plan has been developed to minimize the cost of pre-treatment of diesel fuel.

This paper discusses low-temperature gas purification to improve environmental efficiency. Modern methods of gas cooling are also considered. A mathematical model is proposed for changing the parameters of an ideal gas when flowing through an opening - a Laval nozzle. A graph of the temperature of the gas at the outlet of the Laval nozzle is plotted at a different pressure ratio at the inlet and outlet of the nozzle. The conclusion was made based on the obtained values.

The development of ultrafast scintillators is critical to the GHz X‐ray and time‐of‐flight (TOF) imaging techniques. Low‐dimensional silver‐based halides have emerged as promising candidates due to high radioluminescence efficiency and ultrafast decay time. However, the ultrafast scintillation mechanism in silver‐based halides, such as Rb2AgBr3 (RAB), remains controversial. Here, the study reveals the origin of ultrafast scintillation timing response in melt‐grown RAB bulk crystals. The RAB shows light‐yellow emission with a photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of 13.9%. Under the picosecond (ps) pulse X‐ray irradiation, RAB has an ultrafast decay time of 3.2 ns that accounts for 40.5% of the total emitted light. The light yield is estimated as 3100 photons MeV−1 under 22Na irradiation. Based on the temperature‐dependent radioluminescence (RL) spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, and spectrally resolved thermally‐stimulated luminescence (TSL) glow curves, it is confirmed that the bromine vacancy as the F‐center is the origin of the ultrafast scintillation component. These findings provide elaborated and fundamental insights into the ultrafast luminescent mechanisms of low‐dimensional silver‐based halides, thereby opening up new design horizons in the development of ultrafast scintillators. In this study, we investigate the effects of Ho 3+ codoping on the luminescence and scintillation properties of GGAG:Ce, with a particular focus on timing properties and scintillator efficiency. The research reveals that Ho 3+ codoping and subsequent resonant energy transfer from Ce 3+ to Ho 3+ can significantly reduce the 5d 1 excited state decay time of Ce 3+ and shorten scintillation pulses of GGAG:Ce registered by using photomultipliers, although this reduces scintillator efficiency as well. The study presents a detailed analysis of the loss of scintillator efficiency due to Ho 3+ codoping, identifying the most significant loss pathways and estimating their impact. The findings suggest that Ho 3+ codoping is an effective method for accelerating the scintillation response of GGAG:Ce. Furthermore, the study presents a high level of consistency of the Ce 3+ kinetics with the Inokuti-Hirayama model and with results obtained in the previous studies on similar systems, demonstrating the predictability of the effect of RE 3+ codoping on scintillator properties., Competing Interests: There are no conflicts to declare., (This journal is © The Royal Society of Chemistry.)

Fast emitting polymeric scintillators are requested in advanced applications where high speed detectors with a large signal-to-noise ratio are needed. However, their low density implies a weak stopping power of high energy radiation and thus a limited light output and sensitivity. To enhance their performance, polymeric scintillators can be loaded with dense nanoparticles (NPs). We investigate the properties of a series of polymeric scintillators by means of photoluminescence and scintillation spectroscopy, comparing standard scintillators with a composite system loaded with dense hafnium dioxide (HfO 2 ) NPs. The nanocomposite shows a scintillation yield enhancement of +100% with an unchanged time response. We provide for the first time an interpretation of this effect, pointing out the local effect of NPs in the generation of emissive states upon interaction with ionizing radiation. The obtained results indicate that coupling fast conjugated emitters with optically inert dense NPs could lead to surpassing the actual limits of pure polymeric scintillators.
