In today's rapidly evolving global economy, it is essential to equip young learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the workforce and contribute to economic development. Education is a vital driver of human capital and development in countries, and the effectiveness of any educational system depends heavily on its curriculum. This article studies the pivotal role of the curriculum in shaping education and its contribution to economic development. We examined four components (objectives, content, teaching-learning methods, and evaluation) of secondary school curricula in G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK, USA) and Iran to present a set of proposed concepts for the Iranian curriculum with a focus on economic features. A comparative strategy with four qualitative stages (description, interpretation, juxtaposition, comparison) was used. The proposed concepts are arranged in three layers: the first includes improvement of scientific skills; technical skills; and process skills. The second includes study of world history and geography, and other countries' languages and cultures. The third includes altruism for others, and health and environment. Our study serves as an introduction to the skills and abilities needed by Iranian students to compete in the real world. It also provides a concise outline of some of the essential competencies for tomorrow's society and workplaces.

The DLR-HIT II hand is a highly flexible and dexterous robot capable of performing complex grasping and manipulation tasks. This study presents a comprehensive simulation of the artificial hand using both MATLAB’s Simscape Multibody toolbox and CoppeliaSim (formerly known as V-REP). The simulation model accurately captures the robotic hand’s mechanical structure and control aspects, allowing for an in-depth analysis of its behaviour. The model incorporates the technical characteristics of the hand’s joints, links, and constraints into a multibody dynamic’s framework. The robotic hand is simulated on two platforms: MATLAB, to verify the control system’s performance, and CoppeliaSim, which offers a realistic 3D simulation environment with real-time interaction with other robots or objects. The simulation results enable further optimization and enhancement of the robotic hand’s design and control strategies for practical robotics and automation applications. This research provides valuable insights into the hand’s capabilities and limitations, serving as a foundation for future studies.

Introduction: Bladder neoplasm ranks as the second most prevalent reproductive system malignancy worldwide. On the other hand, the vitamin D as an anti-cancer agent has been a subject of long-standing speculation. Hence, the objective of this study is to explore the correlation between vitamin D and bladder neoplasm risk. Materials and Methods: This systematic review and meta-analysis were designed following the PRISMA checklist. Eligible studies were identified through searches on ProQuest, PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and Cochrane, with no time restrictions until November 18, 2023. Data analysis was conducted utilizing the STATA 14 software. Results: Serum vitamin D levels less than 50 nmol/L increased the risk of bladder neoplasm (OR: 1.33; 95% CI: 1.08, 1.64), muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) (OR: 2.73; 95% CI: 1.80, 4.14) and non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) (OR: 1.87 (95% CI: 1.39, 2.52)). However, the risk of bladder neoplasm in people whose serum vitamin D level was less than 50 nmol/L did not increase with age. Vitamin D serum levels greater than or equal to 50 nmol/L in people aged 40 to 49 (OR: 0.51; 95% CI: 0.27, 0.99) prevented bladder neoplasm, but no significant association was seen in people over 50 years old. In addition, there was no significant association between daily vitamin D intake and the risk of bladder neoplasm (OR: 1.13; 95% CI: 0.63, 2.06). Conclusion: The serum vitamin D less than 50 nmol/L was correlated with bladder cancer risk increasing, including MIBC and NMIBC. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrine disorders. This abnormality is identified with hyperandrogenism, polycystic ovary and ovulation disorder. Environmental factors are one of the etiologies of this disease. In this systematic review, a search was performed with the keywords of polycystic ovary syndrome, PCOS, pesticides, organochlorine, heavy metals, PCBs, PAHs, bisphenol A, BPA, phthalates, mycotoxin, Tributyltin, TBT, environmental contaminants, regardless of publication time. 567 studies were obtained and after assessing 26 articles were finally selected. 61 % of the studies were attributed to bisphenol A. The positive correlation was seen between bisphenol A, tributyltin, air pollutants and organic contaminates with this disease. The association between this syndrome and bisphenol A in adolescents was also confirmed. Zinc has led to a reduction in the incidence of disease in almost all research literature. The proliferation of smart devices increases the demand for energy-efficient, battery-free technologies essential for sustaining IoT devices in Industry 4.0 and 5G networks, which require zero maintenance and sustainable operation. Integrating radio frequency (RF) energy harvesting with IoT and 5G technologies enables real-time data acquisition, reduces maintenance costs, and enhances productivity, supporting a carbon-free future. This survey reviews the challenges and advancements in RF energy harvesting, focusing on far-field wireless power transfer and powering low-energy devices. It examines miniaturization, circular polarization, fabrication challenges, and efficiency using the metamaterial-inspired antenna, concentrating on improving diode nonlinearity design. This study analyzes key components such as rectifiers, impedance matching networks, and antennas, and evaluates their applications in biomedical and IoT devices. [Display omitted] • The Qom Formation in the Zanjan area belonged to the Proto-Mediterranean Sea in the Middle Miocene. • The rising Zagros Mountains split the Tethyan Seaway into a NE Iranian and SW Mesopotamian Gateway. • In the Langhian no marine connection existed between the Mediterr./Indian O. and the E Paratethys. The Tethyan Seaway was the connection between the Eastern and Western Tethys which became restricted and finally closed during the Early and Middle Miocene. The growing Zagros Mountains split the seaway into two entities, the Iranian Gateway in the northeast and the Mesopotamian Gateway in the southwest. The reconstruction of the seaway is based on sedimentological and paleontological data of the Qom, Asmari and Gachsaran formations predominantly on biostratigraphy. This paper presents an evaluation and new data on the occurrence of the Qom Formation in the Zanjan area (Sheikh Jaber section) of Iran. The Qom Formation there is dominated by marls and sandstones and subordinated limestones. Unusual for the Qom Formation is the high share of volcanic rocks (basalts, tuffs, tuffitic marls, lapilli, coarse volcanoclastic components in all types of lithologies) which indicate that the Qom Formation in the Zanjan area belongs either to the Sanandaj-Sirjan Basin or the Urumieh-Dokhtar Basin. Planktonic foraminifers and mollusks, in particular, pteropods, indicate a late Burdigalian to Langhian age for the studied section. The mollusk fauna exhibits a pure Mediterranean character and no overlap with the Indo-Pacific fauna occurs. Both the fauna and the overlying continental deposits of the Upper Red Formation preclude a marine connection along the Iranian Gateway in the Langhian between the Proto-Mediterranean and Indian Ocean, the mollusk fauna also obviates a connection between the Proto-Mediterranean/Indian Ocean and the Eastern Paratethys. The sediments in the Mesopotamian Gateway are represented by the Asmari Formation, which is similar in facies and stratigraphy to the Qom Formation, and the Gachsaran Formation dominated by evaporites and shallow marine sediments. This gateway may have not been completely blocked in the Langhian, but the very shallow water connection was paleoceanographically ineffective and not passable for biota such as mollusks. The aim of the current research is to investigate the position of NGOs in improving the economic, political and social conditions of citizens in Tehran Municipality between 2010 and 2018. The statistical population of this research is the managers and senior experts of the 22 districts of Tehran and their related 121 districts, of which 220 people including the mayors of each district and its districts and senior managers will be selected as a statistical sample in the order of position priority. The required information was also collected through a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed, and the results were obtained based on Friedman’s test, quadratic factor analysis method, and using SPSS and Lisrel software. The obtained results indicate a significant difference in the components of urban management and confirm NGOs’ role in improving urban management (urban social sciences, urban economics and urban politics) in Tehran Municipality from 2018 to 2019. Based on the Friedman test, the significant difference in the components has been investigated. The result of the ranking shows that the urban economy component has the highest rank and is the component in which NGOs play a more effective role. Finally, after performing the exploratory factor analysis, the fitting of the model and second-degree confirmatory analysis were done, the findings of which show that NGOs played an influential role in the component of social sciences, urban economy and urban policy improvement in Tehran Municipality between 2010 and 2018. has it. The main role of NGOs is related to the urban economy component. Considering that providing citizens’ needs, and providing welfare services, are basically infrastructures that are established by municipalities. Objective(s): Esophageal cancer stem cells (ECSCs) have been identified as the subset of cells within esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that possess tumorigenic, invasive, and metastatic properties. One important aspect of cancer metastasis is the binding of sialyl-Lewis X (CD15s) with E- or P-selectin, which facilitates the adhesion and migration of cancer cells to distant sites. This study was conducted to investigate the impact of fucosylation processes on the metastatic behavior of ECSCs. Materials and Methods: The esophageal cancer cell line (KYSE-30) was cultured and divided into control and 2F-peracetyl fucose (2F-PerAcFuc) treated groups. Spheres were harvested from these cultures. Cell invasion assay and qPCR were conducted to examine migration and marker expression in both groups. Cancer cell line-derived xenografts were established in nude mice to validate findings in vivo. Results: Our results initially indicated that the addition of 2F-PerAcFuc, an inhibitor of fucosylation, resulted in the down-regulation of the Fut3/CD15s pathway in both cancer stem-like cells and the xenograft model. Measurements of subcutaneous xenograft tumor volume revealed a significant decrease in tumor size among nude mice after treatment with 2F-PerAcFuc. Additionally, a reduction in Fut8/E-cadherin levels was observed in the xenograft model of nude mice. Furthermore, the administration of 2F-PerAcFuc lowered the levels of fucosylated glycoconjugates in nude mice. Conclusion: Our data suggest that inhibition of fucosyltransferase 3 and 8 can reduce the metastatic capacity of cancer stem-like cells by down-regulating CD15s and E-cadherin in a mouse model of esophageal cancer. Advancing the modeling of evaporation and salt precipitation is essential in CO2 storage processes in aquifers. OpenFOAM provides a platform for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling with its open-source C++ object-oriented architecture that can especially be used in the development of fluid flow models in porous media. Some OpenFOAM packages have been developed in this area, and their codes are available for use. Despite this, the existing OpenFOAM literature does not include a model that incorporates multicomponent interactions in multi-phase flow systems, referred to as compositional modeling, at the Darcy scale. This existing gap is addressed in this paper, where a new simple model in OpenFOAM is introduced that aims to model the interaction of CO2 and H2O components in CO2 storage processes in aquifers at the Darcy scale. The model, named compositionalIGFoam, incorporates a compositional solver by extending the impesFoam solver of the porousMultiphaseFoam package, while assuming some simplifications, to account for CO2/water mutual dissolution, relevant to carbon capture and storage (CCS) processes in aquifers. The functionality of the compositionalIGFoam solver was assessed by showcasing its ability to reproduce the outcomes of existing examples. In addition to that, the process of gas injection into a water-saturated core sample was simulated using the developed model to mimic CO2 injection into aquifers. The CMG-GEM commercial compositional simulator was used to compare its results with the coreflood model of this study. Phenomenal agreement was achieved with the GEM model, showing only 1.8% and 0.4% error for both components. This confirms the accuracy and reliability of the developed model. In conclusion, this study enhances the state of the art in porous media modeling using OpenFOAM 10, providing a valuable tool for examining fluid interactions in subsurface environments, especially within the context of CCS processes. Ambient pressure may influence the thermal path between the absorber and heat sink of resistive bolometers and thus impact the calibration parameters. This effect is investigated for metal resistive bolometer sensors as used in bolometer diagnostics on fusion experiments. Measurements in the test facility IBOVAC indicate that pressure has no effect up to 10−3 mbar. However, a significant change in the cooling time constant is observed for pressures above 10−2 mbar, a reduction up to a factor of three at 1 mbar. The measurements performed in N2 and He atmospheres and simulations in H2 indicate no difference between the results from different gas species up to 10−3 mbar and less than 10 % up to 0.1 mbar. A model based on the thermal conductivity of the surrounding gas combined with the geometry of the sensor holder successfully demonstrates that the additional cooling path through the gas, which may vary between the measurement and reference absorbers, can explain the measurement results. Applying the model to the geometry of a sensor holder designed for port-mounted bolometer cameras in ITER led to design modifications that should help reduce the impact of high environmental pressures on the bolometer measurements. Similarly, it can be assumed that applying the model to the geometries and sensors of operating bolometer diagnostics can help correct the measurements and improve the understanding of plasma radiation in the case of high pressures at the location of bolometer sensors. Background: This study investigates suicide literacy, help-seeking attitudes, and related factors among medical residents. Methods: The study utilized a cross-sectional design and included all medical residents in Kerman University of Medical Sciences in 2023-2024. We obtained demographic information, psychiatric history, and administered questionnaires about literacy of suicide (LOSS) and the Attitudes Toward Seeking Professional Psychological Help (ATSPPH-SF). Results: A total of 157 residents with a mean age of 28.97 ± 2.55 years participated. The prevalence of any psychiatric history was 17.83% (95% CI: 12.1-23.56). Notably, more educated males displayed higher suicidal literacy (95% CI: 0.231-0.567, P = 0.032), while there was no significant difference in help-seeking attitudes between genders (P = 0.755). Surgical residents scored lower than non-surgical specialties like pediatrics (mean difference = 2.63, 95% CI: 0.23-5.03, P = 0.023, effect size d = 0.589). Older age positively correlated with help-seeking attitudes (r = 0.158, P = 0.049). Additionally, marital status, residency level, history of psychiatric illnesses and their types, previous use of psychiatric medications, and history of self-harm or suicide had no significant impact on suicide literacy scores or attitude toward help-seeking. A moderate association (r = 0.367) was found between the suicide literacy and help-seeking attitude questionnaire scores. Conclusion: Despite relatively high suicide literacy, medical residents displayed average help-seeking attitudes, positioning them as a high-risk group. Urgent interventions are needed to enhance awareness of the importance of psychological support and to reduce stress and work pressure, indirectly mitigating the risk of suicide in this vulnerable population. This paper proposes a model of sustainable human resource management (HRM) strategies and consequences by considering stakeholder theory. Qualitative research was conducted to answer research questions. This study uses a purposeful snowball sampling method to draw on in-depth interviews with 19 experts. Data were analyzed by three phases: open, central, and selective coding. The results categorize sustainable HRM strategies into four category of strategies relevant to employees (competence development, equality and diversity management, caring and support of employees, career planning, participation, work-life balance programs, ability to fulfill the psychological needs, and employees' health and safety management); environment and public sustainable HRM strategies (green job design, green human resource planning, green selection and employment, green performance evaluation and encouragement system; green training, and availability of job opportunity for locals); economic sustainability strategies (overall quality management, commitment of senior management to economic sustainability, cost improvement system, equipment efficiency, process and work-flow standardization and re-engineering); and general strategies regards to different stakeholders (conflict of interest management among different stakeholders, effective management of stakeholder support strategies, and considering stakeholders in decision-making). Moreover, the consequence of establishing stakeholder-oriented sustainable HRM is divided into four groups of individual level, environmental, organizational, and stakeholders relations consequences.
