This article discusses two case reports of children with X-linked agammaglobulinaemia who exhibited lack of efficacy during treatment with azithromycin or naproxen for Campylobacter jejuni or Campylobacter reactive arthritis and erythema nodosum. In the first case, a 3-year-old boy experienced persistent symptoms despite receiving azithromycin, and his treatment was changed to triple drug therapy before complete resolution of symptoms was achieved after 12 months. In the second case, a 3.5-year-old boy also had persistent symptoms despite receiving azithromycin and naproxen, and his treatment was similarly changed to triple drug therapy before complete resolution of symptoms was achieved after 12 months.
