Abstract

A research study conducted at Quanzhou Normal University in China has developed an improved model for segmenting cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. The study addresses challenges faced by existing techniques, such as indistinct image boundaries and uneven resolution. The enhanced model incorporates an enhanced residual block and a Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) mechanism to improve segmentation accuracy. The study evaluated the model using a dataset of cardiac MRI data and found that it significantly enhanced precision and accuracy compared to alternative algorithms.
