The wild species Thinopyrum intermedium (genome JJJSJSStSt) serves as a valuable germplasm resource providing novel diseases resistance and agronomically important genes for wheat improvement. Two wheat-Th. intermedium partial amphiploids, TAI7045 (2n = 56) and 78784 (2n = 56), exhibit high resistance to stripe rust and powdery mildew, and their chromosome constitutions have been characterized. With the aim to transfer novel resistance genes from Th. intermedium, the crosses of common wheat line MY11 with TAI7045 and 78784 were produced, and their individual F2-F5 progenies were characterized using sequential non-denaturing fluorescence in situ hybridization (ND-FISH) and molecular markers. We identified a set of wheat-Th. intermedium addition lines, involving the chromosomes 1St-JS, 2St, 2St-JS, 3St, 4J, 4St, 5St, 5J.St, 6JS.J, and 7JS. Above all, the stable wheat-Th. intermedium small segmental translocation lines with chromosomes 4DS.4DL-4StL-4DL-4JL and 4DS.4DL-4StL-4DL were selected. Combining data from specific marker amplification and resistance evaluation, we mapped the gene(s) for resistance to powdery mildew and stripe rust in the 233.56–329.88 Mb region of the long arm of the 4St chromosome from the reference Th. intermedium genome. Chuanwang Xiaoyan (CWXY) capsule is primarily used to treat a variety of acute and chronic inflammations, including acute and chronic pharyngitis and tonsillitis. However, a systematic study of its chemical constituents is still not available. This study evaluated the chemical constituents in vitro and metabolite profiles in vivo of CWXY using ultra‐high‐performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) coupled with Q‐Exactive Orbitrap mass spectrometry, and the pharmacokinetic behaviors of the nine main components in rats were detected using ultra‐high‐performance liquid chromatography‐triple quadrupole‐mass spectrometry (UPLC‐QQQ‐MS/MS). A total of 92 chemical constituents in CWXY were preliminarily identified in vitro. After oral administration to rats, 56 prototype components and 128 metabolites of CWXY were detected in the biological samples of rat plasma, urine, bile, and feces. Of these prototype components and metabolites, seven new compounds, namely M15, M16, M25, M30, M31, M71, and M128, were detected for the first time. The quantitation method of nine components in rat plasma was developed using a pharmacokinetic study. Infrared thermography testing (IRT) has been widely used in the defect detection of composite materials. However, the identification of defects characteristics is unsatisfying due to the interference of factors such as uneven background and noise in the original thermal image sequence. A novel thermography-based defect detection method with the semantic segmentation network is proposed to enhance the defect contrast and extract perfect features. To Figure out the abnormal distribution of temperature field in thermal images, AG-UNet was used with a spatial self-attention gate module to extract spatial features of thermal images. The 3D-UNet network was obtained by the 3D convolution module and the temporal convolution module to extract thermal temporal and spatial features simultaneously which could help the defect segmentation in thermal videos. Compared with traditional algorithms such as principal component analysis (PCA), thermographic signal reconstruction (TSR), and fast Fourier transform (FFT), defects detection results were significantly enhanced with the proposed method, and defects of smaller diameter-to-depth ratio can be detected by deep learning models. Gastric cancer has a high rate of recurrence, and as such, immunotherapy strategies are being investigated as a potential therapeutic strategy. Although the involvement of immune checkpoints in immunotherapy is well studied, biomechanical cues, such as target cell stiffness, have not yet been subject to the same level of investigation. Changes in the cholesterol content of the cell membrane directly influence tumor cell stiffness. Here, we investigated the effect of cholesterol on NK cell‐mediated killing of gastric cancer stem‐like cells. We report that surviving tumor cells with stem‐like properties elevated cholesterol metabolism to evade NK cell cytotoxicity. Inhibition of cholesterol metabolism enhances NK cell‐mediated killing of gastric cancer stem‐like cells, highlighting a potential avenue for improving immunotherapy efficacy. This study suggests a possible effect of cancer cell stiffness on immune evasion and offers insights into enhancing immunotherapeutic strategies against tumors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the continuous development of wind energy resources, wind turbines have become a crucial element in the field of green energy. However, various malfunctions may occur during their operation, affecting performance and lifespan. To ensure the safety and efficiency of wind turbines, regular inspections and maintenance are essential. In recent years, rapid advancements in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology have opened new possibilities for the inspection and maintenance of wind turbines. The blades of wind turbines are the most critical components, and this review paper provides a comprehensive analysis of UAV applications in the detection, inspection, and diagnosis of wind turbine blades. It focuses on key UAV inspection technologies, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages in both static and rotating wind turbine blades. Additionally, the paper analyses control algorithms used by UAVs for blade inspection, verifying their accuracy and practicality in this field. Based on these findings, future technological trends are proposed, including UAV autonomous navigation, edge computing-based online monitoring, and intelligent fault diagnosis.
