Abstract In recent years, the transformer-based language models have achieved remarkable success in the field of extractive text summarization. However, there are still some limitations in this kind of research. First, the transformer language model usually regards the text as a linear sequence, ignoring the inherent hierarchical structure information of the text. Second, for long text data, traditional extractive models often focus on global topic information, which poses challenges in how they capturing and integrating local contextual information within topic segments. To address these issues, we propose a long text extractive summarization model that employs a local topic information extraction module and a text hierarchical extraction module to capture the local topic information and document's hierarchical structure information of the original text. Our approach enhances the ability to determine whether a sentence belongs to the summary. In this experiment, ROUGE score is used as the experimental evaluation index, and evaluates the model on three large public datasets. Through experimental validation, the model demonstrates superior performance in terms of ROUGE-1, ROUGE-2, and ROUGE-L scores compared to current mainstream summarization models, affirming the effectiveness of incorporating local topic information and document hierarchical structure into the model.

Abstract Thanks to their excellent bond strength, phenyl‐based molecules with thiol anchoring groups are extensively employed to form stable single‐molecule junctions. However, two critical questions are still not answered which seriously hinder high‐yield establishing reliable molecular functional devices: (1) Whether molecular dimer junctions will be formed, and if this is the case, whether the dimerization is caused by intermolecular disulfide bonds or π–π stacking of phenyl rings; (2) Upon a mechanical‐compression force, is it possible that both anchoring groups of the molecule bond to the same electrode instead of bridging two opposite electrodes, which would drastically reduce the yield of the molecular junctions. Here, combining UV‐Vis/Raman spectroscopy of bulk molecules and conductance/flicker‐noise measurements of single molecules, we give compelling evidence that molecular dimers naturally form under ambient conditions, primarily via disulfide bonds rather than by π–π stacking. We further proposed a technique, named electrode‐compression‐hold‐on (ECHO), and reveal that the two thiol groups of phenyl‐backboned molecules will bond to the same electrode upon a compression force with a prolongated ECHO time. In contrast, the compression‐time‐dependent phenomenon is not observed for alkyl‐backboned molecules. The underlying mechanism for these unprecedented observations is elucidated, shedding light on the yield of molecular junctions.

Abstract Electronic switches have been considered to be one of the most important components of contemporary electronic circuits for processing and storing digital information. Fabricating functional devices with building blocks of atomic/molecular switches can greatly promote the minimization of the devices and meet the requirement of high integration. This review highlights key developments in the fabrication and application of molecular switching devices. This overview offers valuable insights into the switching mechanisms under various stimuli, emphasizing structural and energy state changes in the core molecules. Beyond the molecular switches, typical individual metal atomic switches are further introduced. A critical discussion of the main challenges for realizing and developing practical molecular/atomic switches is provided. These analyses and summaries will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the switch mechanisms, providing guidance for the rational design of functional nanoswitch devices toward practical applications.

Bacterial wilt (BW) is a devastating plant disease caused by the soil-borne bacterium Ralstonia solanacearum species complex (Rssc). Numerous efforts have been exerted to control BW, but effective, economical, and environmentally friendly approaches are still not available. Bacteriophages are a promising resource for the control of bacterial diseases, including BW. So, in this study, a crop BW pathogen of lytic bacteriophage was isolated and named PQ43W. Biological characterization revealed PQ43W had a short latent period of 15 min, 74 PFU/cell of brust sizes, and good stability at a wide range temperatures and pH but a weak resistance against UV radiation. Sequencing revealed phage PQ43W contained a circular double-stranded DNA genome of 47,156 bp with 65 predicted open reading frames (ORFs) and genome annotation showed good environmental security for the PQ43W that no tRNA, antibiotic resistance, or virulence genes contained. Taxonomic classification showed PQ43W belongs to a novel genus of subfamily Kantovirinae under Caudoviricetes. Subsequently, a dose of PQ43W for phage therapy in controlling crop BW was determined: 108 PFU*20 mL per plant with non-invasive irrigation root application twice by pot experiment. Finally, a field experiment of PQ43W showed a significantly better control effect in crop BW than the conventional bactericide Zhongshengmycin. Therefore, bacteriophage PQ43W is an effective bio-control resource for controlling BW diseases, especially for crop cultivation.

Abstract The integration of convolutional neural network (CNN) and transformer enhances the network’s capacity for concurrent modeling of texture details and global structures. However, training challenges with transformer limit their effectiveness to low-resolution images, leading to increased artifacts in slightly larger images. In this paper, we propose a single-stage network utilizing large kernel attention (LKA) to address high-resolution damaged images. LKA enables the capture of both global and local details, akin to transformer and CNN networks, resulting in high-quality inpainting. Our method excels in: (1) reducing parameters, improving inference speed, and enabling direct training on 1024 $$\times $$ × 1024 resolution images; (2) utilizing LKA for enhanced extraction of global high-frequency and local details; (3) demonstrating excellent generalization on irregular mask models and common datasets such as Places2, Celeba-HQ, FFHQ, and the random irregular mask dataset Pconv from NVIDIA.

BackgroundDrug-induced immune hemolytic anemia (DIIHA) is a rare but serious condition, with an estimated incidence of one in 100,000 cases, associated with various antibiotics. This study reports on a case of ceftizoxime-induced hemolysis observed in a patient in China.Case descriptionA Chinese patient diagnosed with malignant rectal cancer underwent antimicrobial therapy after laparoscopic partial recto-sigmoid resection (L-Dixon). After receiving four doses of ceftizoxime, the patient developed symptoms including rash, itchy skin, and chest distress, followed by a rapid decline in hemoglobin levels, the presence of hemoglobin in the urine (hemoglobinuria), renal failure, and disseminated intravascular coagulation. Laboratory analysis revealed high-titer antibodies against ceftizoxime and red blood cells (RBCs) in the patient’s serum, including immunoglobulin M (IgM) (1:128) antibodies and immunoglobulin G (IgG) (1:8) antibodies, with noted crossreactivity to ceftriaxone. Significant improvement in the patient’s hemolytic symptoms was observed following immediate discontinuation of the drug, two plasma exchanges, and extensive RBC transfusion.ConclusionThis case, together with previous reports, underscores the importance of considering DIIHA in patients who exhibit unexplained decreases in hemoglobin levels following antibiotic therapy. A thorough examination of the patient’s medical history can provide crucial insights for diagnosing DIIHA. The effective management of DIIHA includes immediate cessation of the implicated drug, plasma exchange, and transfusion support based on the identification of specific drug-dependent antibodies through serological testing.

This paper investigates the influence of randomly distributed additional air gaps (AAGs) between stator teeth and back-iron on cogging torque in 12-slot/10-pole modular permanent magnet machines by using Taguchi method. It has been observed that with uniform AAGs, a maximum cogging torque exists, while non-uniform AAGs significantly affect cogging torque, particularly resulting in the worst-case scenario with the highest cogging torque due to random non-uniform AAG distributions. In comparing uniform and non-uniform AAGs, two key findings are: (a) main harmonic order of pole number of cogging torque in non-uniform AAGs is much lower than that of least common multiple of slot and pole numbers in uniform AAGs; (b) amplitude of cogging torque in non-uniform AAGs is much higher than that in uniform AAGs. Hence, special attention should be paid to controlling non-uniform AAGs in mass production. The correctness of the results is validated by experiments based on the prototype in mass production.

Objective To comprehensively explore the serological characteristics of anti-PP1Pk and potential therapeutic strategies for recurrent miscarriage in p-blood type pregnant women. Methods Neutralization with pigeon egg white and human plasma, disruption of IgM antibodies by 2-mercaptoethanol reagent, and complement adding were conducted. Anti-PP1Pk titers under different processing conditions, media and temperatures were determined, and neutralizing effect of human plasma on anti-PP1Pk and its sensitization complement ability were analyzed. Results The titers of anti-PP1Pk in saline and column agglutination were 4 and 8, respectively. Low temperature increased titers, while β-mercaptoethanol treatment significantly reduced them. Pigeon egg white partially neutralized anti-PP1Pk antibodies. Human plasma was also capable of reducing anti-PP1Pk titers with neutralization capability surpassing that of pigeon egg white, and there were individual differences in neutralization capability. Conclusion The anti-PP1Pk was a blend of antibodies encompassing both IgM and IgG types, exhibiting cold reactivity, and having the potential for complement activation. Human plasma emerges as an effective modulator for diminishing the efficacy of anti-PP1Pk. Plasma transfusion holds promise as a therapeutic avenue for addressing recurrent miscarriages in pregnant individuals with the p phenotype.

Abstract In this paper, we employ gauge/gravity duality to investigate the string breaking and melting of doubly-heavy tetraquark that includes two heavy quarks and two light antiquarks in a holographic model at finite temperature. Firstly, four different configurations of $${{\textrm{QQ}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}$$ QQ q ¯ q ¯ are studied at different separation distances of the heavy quarks at finite temperatures. At high temperature, $${{\textrm{QQ}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}$$ QQ q ¯ q ¯ will melt at certain distances and the screening distance has been given for different temperatures. As the temperature continues to increase, some configurations of doubly-heavy tetraquark can not exist. Furthermore, we investigate three decay modes of $${{\textrm{QQ}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}$$ QQ q ¯ q ¯ and compare the potential energy of $${{\textrm{QQ}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}\bar{{\textrm{q}}}$$ QQ q ¯ q ¯ with that of $${\textrm{QQq}}$$ QQq at finite temperature.

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is considered as a promising dental implant material owing to its excellent physicochemical and mechanical properties. However, its wide range of applications is limited by its biologically inert nature. In this study, a near-infrared (NIR) light responsive bioactive coating with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and metronidazole adhered to the PEEK surface via dopamine polymerization. Compared to pure PEEK, the hydrophilicity of the treated PEEK surface was significantly improved. In addition, under NIR light, the surface coating exhibited photothermal conversion effect, and gold nanoparticles and the antibiotic can be released from the coating. This improved the antibacterial properties of PEEK materials. Moreover, the coating was more conducive to the early adhesion of bone mesenchymal stem cells. The results of in vitro and in vivo osteogenic activity studies showed that the developed coating promoted osseointegration of PEEK implants, and NIR light irradiation further improved the antibacterial ability and osteogenic activity of PEEK implants. Through RNA sequencing, the potential underlying mechanism of promoting bone formation of the AuNPs coating combined metronidazole was interpreted. In summary, the developed coating is a potential surface treatment strategy that endows PEEK with enhanced osseointegration and antibacterial properties.

In intense field laser dressing of atoms, electrons follow the laser oscillation and undergo quiver motion just like free electrons but still weakly bound to the atomic core, thus forming a set of specific dressed states named Kramers–Henneberger (KH) states. For decades, it was widely believed that ground KH state hydrogen atoms in a circularly polarized laser field exhibit the symmetric structure of a perfect ring. But our study shows this is not a common structure because of the fact that KH atoms can only exist in intense laser fields which are practically focused laser beams. In focused laser field, KH state electrons have to experience the ponderomotive force, which might polarize the atom and reshape its structure. Only in a laser beam with small quiver amplitude and high frequency, can the symmetric circular structure be fully or partially preserved.

The current densities in nowadays electronic circuitry are close to the electromigration threshold that may result in the fracture of circuits due to electromigration, hampering further miniaturization of integrated chips. Flexible electronic devices, which use a flexible material instead of rigid silicon as a substrate, might be prone to fracture problems also due to obligatory mechanical deformation. However, finding the location of fractured nanogaps and in situ repairing such atomic‐scale fractured circuits are currently unavailable. To this end, a method is developed to in situ heal nanogaps as large as 20 nm between metallic electrodes on the polyimide (PI)‐covered substrate via voltage sweeping, which is typically employed to generate nanogaps rather than heal nanogaps. The reconnection of nanoelectrodes is realized only when the underneath PI is treated with oxygen plasma etching. Assisted by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, it is revealed that inductively coupled O2 plasma etching not only changes the surface topography but also changes the chemical binding structure of PI, which in return can be used to immobilize metal atoms migrating along the PI surface to gradually close the nanogap, providing an in situ self‐healing paradigm for repairing the atomic scale fractured circuits.

Predatory mites are biological control agents used in many countries against various vegetable pests, particularly spider mites. Despite the significant presence of predatory mites in the Tibetan plateau, there is limited research on their potential against spider mites in the area. This study investigated the fitness parameters and performance against TSSM of four predatory, including Amblyseius swirskii (Athias-Henriot) and three species from the genus Neoseiulus (Neoseiulus californicus (McGregor), Neoseiulus barkeri (Hughes), and Neoseiulus cucumeris (Oudemans)), originally collected from fields in the Tibetan Plateau. Compared to the other three predatory species, A. swirskii exhibited the highest fecundity (11.60 ± 0.34) and the highest pre-adult survival rate (83.33 ± 3.33%). Since their juvenile survival rate (SR) was extremely low (13.33% ± 5.77%), most N. barkeri nymphs died before emergence. Compared to the other three predatory mites, A. swirskii showed the highest predation capacity against adult TSSMs at 15 d post-release (14.28 ± 2.24). Based on the results, A. swirskii was the most effective, and N. barkeri was the least effective in controlling two-spotted mites in the Tibetan Plateau among the four species tested in this study. Collectively, these findings imply notable advantages in employing A. swirskii for controlling two-spotted mites in the Tibetan Plateau. This study informs the development of a feasible biological control method based on suitable predatory mite species to manage TSSMs in the Tibetan Plateau.

Background: To compare the differences in long-term quality of life (QoL) between survivors of paediatric and adult patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and assess the clinical factors that predict long-term QoL. Methods: We enrolled 420 long-term NPC survivors who were alive for at least 8 years after treatment, including 195 paediatric and 225 adult patients diagnosed and treated with intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Centre (SYSUCC) between 2011 and 2015. Data on clinical factors and EORTC QLQ-C30 were collected from all participants. The QoL of paediatric and adult NPC survivors was compared. Results: The paediatric group had significantly better outcomes in global health status (paediatric: 80.2 ± 12.7; adult: 77.2 ± 11.5; P = 0.027), physical function (paediatric: 98.5 ± 4.6; adult: 95.1 ± 7.0; P < 0.001), role function (paediatric: 97.0 ± 9.2; adult: 90.5 ± 15.2; P < 0.001), social function (paediatric: 96.0 ± 8.9; adult: 93.5 ± 11.8; P = 0.038), insomnia (paediatric: 1.9 ± 7.8; adult: 13.1 ± 22.3; P < 0.001), constipation (paediatric: 1.3 ± 7.5; adult: 8.0 ± 17.4; P < 0.001), diarrhea (paediatric: 0.7 ± 4.6; adult: 2.8 ± 9.3; P = 0.010), and financial difficulties (paediatric: 1.9 ± 7.8; adult: 11.0 ± 19.8; P < 0.001), but poorer cognitive function (paediatric: 88.3 ± 9.9; adult: 93.8 ± 12.6; P < 0.001) than the adult group. Pretreatment clinical factors, including T stage, N stage, and pre-treatment EBV (Epstein-Barr Virus) DNA, showed a strong association with QoL. However, the factors that affected the QoL outcomes differed between the two groups. In survivors of paediatric cancer, global health status/QoL was strongly correlated with T stage (P < 0.001) and clinical stage (P = 0.018), whereas it was strongly correlated with pre-treatment EBV DNA (P = 0.008) in adults. Conclusion: Paediatric survivors of NPC have a significantly better QoL than adult NPC survivors. Moreover, pre-treatment T stage, N stage, and EBV DNA significantly influenced the overall health status of the survivors. Background: Exposure to a hypobaric hypoxic environment at high altitudes can lead to lung injury. In this study, we aimed to determine whether curcumin (Cur) could improve lung barrier function and protect against high-altitude-associated acute lung injury. Methods: Two hundred healthy rats were randomly divided into standard control, high-altitude control (HC), salidroside (40 mg/kg, positive control), and Cur (200 mg/kg) groups. Each group was further divided into five subgroups. Basic vital signs, lung injury histopathology, routine blood parameters, plasma lactate level, and arterial blood gas indicators were evaluated. Protein and inflammatory factor (tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin [IL]-1β, IL-6, and IL-10) concentrations in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were determined using the bicinchoninic acid method and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. Inflammation-related and lung barrier function-related proteins were analyzed using immunoblotting. Results: Cur improved blood routine indicators such as hemoglobin and hematocrit and reduced the BALF protein content and TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 levels compared with those in the HC group. It increased IL-10 levels and reduced pulmonary capillary congestion, alveolar hemorrhage, and the degree of pulmonary interstitial edema. It increased oxygen partial pressure, oxygen saturation, carbonic acid hydrogen radical, and base excess levels, and the expression of zonula occludens 1, occludin, claudin-4, and reduced carbon dioxide partial pressure, plasma lactic acid, and the expression of phospho-nuclear factor kappa. Conclusions: Exposure to a high-altitude environment for 48 h resulted in severe lung injury in rats. Cur improved lung barrier function and alleviated acute lung injury in rats at high altitudes. we aimed to monitor liver injury in rat model during heat stress and heatstroke in dry-heat environment and investigate the effects of curcumin on heatstroke-induced liver injury and the underlying mechanisms. Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into four groups: normal saline (NS), and 50 (50-cur), 100 (100-cur), and 200 mg/kg curcumin (200-cur) groups. They were administered the indicated doses of curcumin by gavage once daily for 7 days. On day 8, the rats were transferred to a simulated climate cabin, At 0, 50, 100, and 150 min, the core temperature (Tc) was measured respectively. After sacrificing the rats, tissue samples were collected, measure histology indices, serum enzymes, lipopolysaccharides (LPSs), cytokines, nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1). The Tc increased with time in all groups. Curcumin alleviation of symptoms and improvement in pathological scores. The level of enzymes, LPS, and cytokines increased during heatstroke in the NS group, but curcumin decreased the levels of these indicators. The differences of the indicators between NS and 200-cur groups at 150 min were significant (P < 0.05). The expression of NF-κB p65, iNOS, and ICAM-1 was upregulated in the NS group at 150 min, but their expression was relatively lower in the curcumin groups (P < 0.05). Thus, our findings indicate acute liver injury during heat stress and heatstroke. The mechanism involves cascade-amplification inflammatory response induced by the gut endotoxin. We have derived the tensor amplitudes for partial wave analysis of ψ → Δ Δ ¯ , Δ → p π within the helicity frame, as well as the amplitudes for the other decay sequences with same final states. These formulae are practical for the experiments measuring ψ decaying into p p ¯ π + π − final states, such as BESIII with its recently collected huge J / ψ and ψ (2 S) data samples. The growth of VO2 epitaxial films has been researched extensively for obtaining excellent phase-transition performance. However, previous methods typically necessitate high temperatures or post-annealing processes, which elevate both experimental complexity and cost. In this work, we prepared high-quality VO2 epitaxial films by reactive magnetron sputtering directly under a low growth temperature. Benefiting from the determination of the oxygen pressure ratio from the theoretical analysis of the sputtering process model, single-stoichiometric VO2 epitaxial films could be prepared under 450 °C with a resistance change of 103, and above 500 °C with a resistance change exceeding 104. The mechanism of achieving low-temperature growth of VO2 epitaxial films was analyzed utilizing Thornton's zone model; finally, the epitaxial characteristics of VO2 on the sapphire substrate were confirmed from in-plane and out-of-plane directions. This work presents a guideline for the low-temperature growth of VO2 epitaxial films with enhanced phase-transition performance, thereby reducing both the cost and the requirements associated with the epitaxial growth of VO2 films. As a signaling molecule, nitric oxide (NO) regulates the development and stress response in different organisms. The major biological activity of NO is protein S‐nitrosylation, whose function in fungi remains largely unclear. Here, it is found in the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae, de‐nitrosylation process is essential for functional appressorium formation during infection. Nitrosative stress caused by excessive accumulation of NO is harmful for fungal infection. While the S‐nitrosoglutathione reductase GSNOR‐mediated de‐nitrosylation removes excess NO toxicity during appressorium formation to promote infection. Through an indoTMT switch labeling proteomics technique, 741 S‐nitrosylation sites in 483 proteins are identified. Key appressorial proteins, such as Mgb1, MagB, Sps1, Cdc42, and septins, are activated by GSNOR through de‐nitrosylation. Removing S‐nitrosylation sites of above proteins is essential for proper protein structure and appressorial function. Therefore, GSNOR‐mediated de‐nitrosylation is an essential regulator for appressorium formation. It is also shown that breaking NO homeostasis by NO donors, NO scavengers, as well as chemical inhibitor of GSNOR, shall be effective methods for fungal disease control. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In view of the existing traffic signal detection algorithms, which require a large amount of computation and model, are difficult to deploy at the embedded end, and are difficult to detect long-distance traffic signals with a high miss rate, this paper designs a lightweight traffic signal detection algorithm for the embedded end, which aims at lightweight and real-time requirements. GhostNet network Ghost module and Ghost bottleneck layer structure are adopted to reduce the number of model parameters and improve the detection speed. To solve the feature similarity problem, the weighted bidirectional feature pyramid network is used to make the algorithm more sensitive to the target. The dense void space pyramid pool is used to optimize the extraction of global context information. Aiming at the problem of small target recognition, the information extraction of small target is enhanced through the improvement of multi-scale detection. Finally, the learning ability of the model is improved through knowledge distillation, and the detection performance is improved. Experimental results show that the recognition accuracy and recall rate of traffic lights by this detection algorithm reach 97.0% and 99% respectively, 2.7 and 3 percentage points higher than that of YOLOv5s. The model size is reduced to 8.06 MB, 58% of that of YOLOv5s, and the recognition rate is increased from 51 frames per second to 56 frames per second. This paper presents the design of an intra-row obstacle avoidance shovel-type weeding machine. Theoretical analysis of intra-row weeding components guided the determination of the structures and parameters for key parts, including the signal acquisition mechanism, automatic obstacle avoidance mechanism, and weeding shovel. Furthermore, a hydraulic system was designed to support these functions. The design aims to optimize intra-row weeding operations, reduce labor costs, enhance weed control effectiveness, and prevent collisions between weeding equipment and grapevines. Through the construction of a mathematical model, the analysis determined the necessary minimum return speed of the hydraulic cylinder for the intra-row weeding shovel to avoid grapevines. We also established a reasonable range for the extension speed of the hydraulic cylinder to minimize areas missed during weeding. Further analysis showed that using the minimum return speed of the hydraulic cylinder effectively reduced missed weeding areas. A virtual prototype model of the weeding machine was created in ADAMS. Using the coverage rate of weeding operation as the evaluation index, single-factor simulation tests determined that the extension speed of the piston rod in the obstacle avoidance hydraulic cylinder and the forward speed of the weeding machine are the main influencing factors. The preset threshold of the control system, which triggered the automatic obstacle avoidance mechanism when the obstacle avoidance rod reached a specific angle (the "Angle Threshold"), was identified as a secondary influencing factor. Other factors were considered irrelevant. Hydraulic cylinder extension speed, weeding machine forward speed, and angle threshold were chosen as the influencing factors. Following the principles of a Box–Behnken experimental design, a quadratic regression combination experiment was designed using a three-factor, three-level response surface analysis method. The evaluation criterion focused on the coverage rate of weeding operation. A regression model was developed to determine the coverage rate of the weeding operation, identifying the optimal parameters as follows: obstacle avoidance hydraulic cylinder extension speed of 120 mm/s, forward speed of the weeding machine at 0.6 m/s, and an angle threshold of 18°. The optimized coverage rate of the weeding operation achieved 86.1%. This study serves as a reference for further optimization of intra-row weeding machines in vineyards and for other crops. Background: Drug-induced immune hemolytic anemia (DIIHA) is a rare but serious condition, with an estimated incidence of one in 100,000 cases, associated with various antibiotics. This study reports on a case of ceftizoximeinduced hemolysis observed in a patient in China. Case description: A Chinese patient diagnosed with malignant rectal cancer underwent antimicrobial therapy after laparoscopic partial recto-sigmoid resection (L-Dixon). After receiving four doses of ceftizoxime, the patient developed symptoms including rash, itchy skin, and chest distress, followed by a rapid decline in hemoglobin levels, the presence of hemoglobin in the urine (hemoglobinuria), renal failure, and disseminated intravascular coagulation. Laboratory analysis revealed high-titer antibodies against ceftizoxime and red blood cells (RBCs) in the patient's serum, including immunoglobulin M (IgM) (1:128) antibodies and immunoglobulin G (IgG) (1:8) antibodies, with noted crossreactivity to ceftriaxone. Significant improvement in the patient's hemolytic symptoms was observed following immediate discontinuation of the drug, two plasma exchanges, and extensive RBC transfusion. Conclusion: This case, together with previous reports, underscores the importance of considering DIIHA in patients who exhibit unexplained decreases in hemoglobin levels following antibiotic therapy. A thorough examination of the patient's medical history can provide crucial insights for diagnosing DIIHA. The effective management of DIIHA includes immediate cessation of the implicated drug, plasma exchange, and transfusion support based on the identification of specific drug-dependent antibodies through serological testing. Summary: Plant pathogenic fungi elaborate numerous detoxification strategies to suppress host reactive oxygen species (ROS), but their coordination is not well‐understood.Here, we show that Sirt5‐mediated protein desuccinylation in Magnaporthe oryzae is central to host ROS detoxification. SIRT5 encodes a desuccinylase important for virulence via adaptation to host oxidative stress. Quantitative proteomics analysis identified a large number of succinylated proteins targeted by Sirt5, most of which were mitochondrial proteins involved in oxidative phosphorylation, TCA cycle, and fatty acid oxidation.Deletion of SIRT5 resulted in hypersuccinylation of detoxification‐related enzymes, and significant reduction in NADPH : NADP+ and GSH : GSSG ratios, disrupting redox balance and impeding invasive growth. Sirt5 desuccinylated thioredoxin Trx2 and glutathione peroxidase Hyr1 to activate their enzyme activity, likely by affecting proper folding.Altogether, this work demonstrates the importance of Sirt5‐mediated desuccinylation in controlling fungal process required for detoxifying host ROS during M. oryzae infection. Synergetic photocatalytic H2 production by organic dye photodegradation is always a goal. However, the related research has been hindered due to the uncontrollability of this process. This study prepares the ZnO/Bi-QDs/BiOBr photocatalyst, and the hole (h+) aggregation phase (ZnO) is constructed into a lamellar porous structure to improve its adsorption capacity for dyes based on the energy level structure of the composite. By this method, the reactive groups used for photodegradation of dyes are controlled to h+ and •OH, e– is used for photocatalytic H2 production, and the synergistic effect of dye photodegradation and photocatalytic H2 production is realized. Under the action of this photocatalyst and visible light, rhodamine B (RhB) is completely degraded in 8 min, the time can be reduced to 2 min when pH is 5, and it can realize the complete degradation of RhB in 120 min under natural sunlight. The H2 production rate reaches 1678 μmol·g–1·h–1 in RhB (h+ scavenger) aqueous solution under visible light. Background: Primulina hunanensis, a troglobitic plant within the Primulina genus of Gesneriaceae family, exhibits robust resilience to arid conditions and holds great horticultural potential as an ornamental plant. The work of chloroplast genome (cpDNA) has been recently accomplished, however, the mitochondrial genome (mtDNA) that is crucial for plant evolution has not been reported. Results: In this study, we sequenced and assembled the P. hunanensis complete mtDNA, and elucidated its evolutionary and phylogenetic relationships. The assembled mtDNA spans 575,242 bp with 43.54% GC content, encompassing 60 genes, including 37 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 20 tRNA genes, and 3 rRNA genes. Notably, high number of repetitive sequences in the mtDNA and substantial sequence translocation from chloroplasts to mitochondria were observed. To determine the evolutionary and taxonomic positioning of P. hunanensis, a phylogenetic tree was constructed using mitochondrial PCGs from P. hunanensis and 32 other taxa. Furthermore, an exploration of PCGs relative synonymous codon usage, identification of RNA editing events, and an investigation of collinearity with closely related species were conducted. Conclusions: This study reports the initial assembly and annotation of P. hunanensis mtDNA, contributing to the limited mtDNA repository for Gesneriaceae plants and advancing our understanding of their evolution for improved utilization and conservation. In this study, a passive radar system that detects flying targets is developed in order to solve the problems associated with traditional flying target detection systems (i.e., their large size, high power consumption, complex systems, and poor battlefield survivability). On the basis of target detection, the system uses the multipath signal (which is usually eliminated as an error term in navigation and positioning), enhances it by supporting information, and utilizes the multi-source characteristics of ordinary omnidirectional global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals. The results of a validation experiment showed that the system is able to locate a passenger airplane and obtain its flight trajectory using only one GNSS receiving antenna. The system is characterized by its light weight (less than 5 kg), low power consumption, simple system, good portability, low cost, and 24/7 and all-weather work.
