The object of the research is the Core Inflation Forecasting. The paper investigates the performance of the novel model routine in the exercise of the Core Inflation Forecasting. It aggregates 300+ components into 6 by the similarity of their dynamics using an updated DTW algorithm fine-tuned for monthly time series and the K-Means algorithm for grouping. Then the SARIMA model extracts linear and seasonal components, which is followed by an LSTM model that captures non-linearities and interdependencies. It solves the problem of high-quality inflation forecasting using a disaggregated dataset. While standard and traditional econometric techniques are focused on the limited sets of data that consists just a couple of variables, proposed methodology is able to capture richer part of the volatility comprising more information. The model is compared with a huge pool of other models, simple ones like Random Walk and SARIMA, to ML models like XGBoost, Random Forest and simple LSTM. While all Data Science model shows decent performance, the DTW+K-Means+SARIMA+LSTM routine gives the best RMSE over 1-month ahead and 2-month ahead forecasts, which proves the high quality of the proposed forecasting model and solves the key problem of the paper. It is explained by the model’s capability to capture both linear/seasonal patterns from the data using SARIMA part as long as it non-linear and interdependent using LSTM approach. Recognition of spatio-temporal traffic patterns at the network-wide level plays an important role in data-driven intelligent transport systems (ITS) and is a basis for applications such as short-term prediction and scenario-based traffic management. Common practice in the transport literature is to rely on well-known general unsupervised machine-learning methods (e.g., k-means, hierarchical, spectral, DBSCAN) to select the most representative structure and number of day-types based solely on internal evaluation indices. These are easy to calculate but are limited since they only use information in the clustered dataset itself. In addition, the quality of clustering should ideally be demonstrated by external validation criteria, by expert assessment or the performance in its intended application. The main contribution of this paper is to test and compare the common practice of internal validation with external validation criteria represented by the application to short-term prediction, which also serves as a proxy for more general traffic management applications. When compared to external evaluation using short-term prediction, internal evaluation methods have a tendency to underestimate the number of representative day-types needed for the application. Additionally, the paper investigates the impact of using dimensionality reduction. By using just 0.1% of the original dataset dimensions, very similar clustering and prediction performance can be achieved, with up to 20 times lower computational costs, depending on the clustering method. K-means and agglomerative clustering may be the most scalable methods, using up to 60 times fewer computational resources for very similar prediction performance to the p-median clustering. Food loss ans waste, referred next as FLW, has a great extent on the economic and behavioural patterns of consumption. In this paper, we aim to present statistical univariate and multivariate analyses based on a statistical study run during a period of several months in the Romanian territory. In this matter, the main purpose of the analysis developed in this paper is to determine several patterns of FLW phenomenon. This is made based on a methodology which comprises two main sections: the univariate analysis, consisting in statistical determinations of indicators and direct observation, and the multivariate analysis, related to the clustering analysis. The clustering analysis is based on the usage of hierarchical method, which has as final result the determination of clusters describing patterns of consumption related to food loss and waste. After the analysis was run, five main clusters related to food waste behaviour patterns were determined, with slight differences between food consumption habits, but with various combinations between the parameters taken into consideration. The obtained clusters offer important information for policymakers and stakeholders aiming to customize interventions and programs to target specific demographic groups or segments of the population. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a very famous network because of its many applications. IoT network has an integration of large-scale IoT devices that generate data. These IoT devices are very low power computing devices due to which they have a low level of communication. These devices construct data and transmit the data to the base station via intermediate IoT devices. The base station gathers and integrates the data and sends it to the administrator for further processing. The data attains the base station using various routing algorithms with the goal of low power consumption. When discussing low power IoT devices, power efficiency is an important performance measurement when creating a routing algorithm. This paper proposes a Minimum Power Consumption Routing (MPCR) algorithm using Hierarchical Fuzzy Logic Clustering (HFLC) algorithm for IoT networks. The MPCR with HFLC algorithm is an energy-efficient algorithm because of its lower power consumption for the cluster by aggregating the data within the cluster head and decreasing the number of data transmissions to the base station. In this paper, the cluster formation and cluster-head selection are explained, and a simulation has been conducted. In addition, the proposed algorithm is compared with the existing algorithms based on different metrics such as throughput, packet delivery ratio, and energy consumption of the network. The experimental results show that the proposed MPCR with the HFLC algorithm provides high throughput and packet delivery ratio and reduces energy consumption more efficiently than other existing algorithms. A wireless sensor network is a wireless communication network, and each sensor node has several sensors to collect environmental information. Wireless sensor network nodes have limited energy resources and need optimal routing protocols to reduce energy consumption. Failure to reduce energy consumption by sensor nodes reduces network life and efficiency. The main problem in routing is finding optimal paths for sending packets by reducing energy consumption in sensor nodes. This paper proposes an optimal routing method to reduce energy consumption in wireless sensor networks. In the first step, wireless sensor nodes are clustered with the Water strider algorithms (WSA), and cluster heads are selected for routing. In the second step, a mobile sink collects the packets from the cluster heads and sends them to the base station. The mobile sink uses the Ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithms to travel a shorter path between the cluster heads. The authors contribute to presenting a discrete version of the WSA algorithm for cluster head selection to reduce energy consumption. The authors contribute by providing a more comprehensive objective function for clustering network nodes considering error rate, energy consumption, PDR rate, and Euclidean distance. Cluster head traversal with a version of the ACO algorithm to reduce energy consumption and cluster head traversal coding like the TSP problem is the contribution of other authors. The paper aims to reduce energy consumption, reduce the error rate of sending packets and increase the lifetime of the wireless sensor network. Experiments are simulated on several simulated scenarios in Matlab. Criteria such as energy consumption, Packet delivery ratio (PDR), package loss rates, and the number of alive nodes to evaluate the proposed method are used. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm reduces the energy consumption and loss rates of packages of the wireless sensor network by optimally selecting cluster heads and increasing the PDR and number of alive nodes. Comparisons show In terms of energy consumption, Packet delivery ratio (PDR), Loss rates of packages, and the number of alive nodes, the proposed method is more efficient than Particle swarm optimization (PSO), Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO), Information-centric wireless sensor networks, and Cluster based routing (CBR) routing methods. The PDR index in the proposed method is equal to 97.3% and is higher than PSO, GWO, and CS algorithms. New discoveries and knowledge are summarized in thousands of published papers per year per scientific domain, making it incomprehensible for scientists to account for all available knowledge relevant for their studies. In this paper, we present ACCORDION (ACCelerating and Optimizing model RecommenDatIONs), a novel methodology and an expert system that retrieves and selects relevant knowledge from literature and databases to recommend models with correct structure and accurate behavior, enabling mechanistic explanations and predictions, and advancing understanding. ACCORDION introduces an approach that integrates knowledge retrieval, graph algorithms, clustering, simulation, and formal analysis. Here, we focus on biological systems, although the proposed methodology is applicable in other domains. We used ACCORDION in nine benchmark case studies and compared its performance with other previously published tools. We show that ACCORDION is: comprehensive, retrieving relevant knowledge from a range of literature sources through machine reading engines; very effective, reducing the error of the initial baseline model by more than 80%, recommending models that closely recapitulate desired behavior, and outperforming previously published tools; selective, recommending only the most relevant, contextspecific, and useful subset (15%-20%) of candidate knowledge in literature; diverse, accounting for several distinct criteria to recommend more than one solution, thus enabling alternative explanations or intervention directions. This paper has presented a comprehensive literature study and discusses the primary problem of network congestion and bottlenecks in XML applications. The explosive growth of Web services has caused a significant problem in network traffic due to the largely repetitive XML textual structures. The challenge of XML message size reduction in web services has been examined, focusing on new approaches such as compression methods and message clustering for Aggregation and compression of XML messages efficiently. The goal is to examine how different strategies affect network traffic. This overview discusses twenty-five publications categorized into four: compression techniques, aggregation approaches, clustering for web services aggregation approaches, and other web services clustering models. In comparison to all models, evaluation has shown that web service clustering solutions efficiently reduce traffic. Access to justice is a significant area of legal research, especially for Socio-Legal studies. The main research topics of this area are economic or class differences, gender inequalities, or national and ethnic differences in access to justice. However, there is a less discussed aspect of access to justice: the differences between access to legal information and the differences in user groups in terms of comprehending and processing legal information. This is an important topic because there are significant differences among people's abilities to process and understand legal texts, depending on whether we are dealing with a lawyer who is an expert in the given field, a non-expert lawyer, or a citizen with a low or zero (legal) educational level. The paper argues that unsupervised machine learning solutions can help even out these differences. It presents different unsupervised solutions, mainly clustering and topic modelling, which can help to increase access to legal information. Then we present a case study in which we examine these unsupervised tools in the processing of resolutions of the Central Bank in Hungary and anonymized court decisions. The paper argues that these tools can reveal the hidden contextual regularities in unstructured legal texts, facilitating the search for legal texts even for non-legal-experts. Errors in Cyber-Physical Systems present a major problem given the current state of technological complexity. Self-diagnosis can contribute to address it, being the standpoint of the present paper. Hence, an application of exploratory Machine Learning models to assess the functioning of robot software in order to identify anomalies that lead to low performance is proposed. More precisely, Hybrid Unsupervised Exploratory Plots (HUEPs) are extended through density-based clustering techniques, that are applied together with unsupervised exploratory projection models. As a result, intuitive and informative visualizations of software performance are obtained, supporting the monitoring and anomaly detection tasks. A network of wireless sensors (WSN) is an outstanding technology that can aid in the various applications. Batteries run the sensor nodes those are used in WSN. The battery is impossible to charge or repair, so the most valuable resource for wireless sensor networks is power. Over the years, several strategies have been invented and used to preserve this precious WSN resource. One of the most successful approach for this purpose has turned out to be clustering. The aim of this paper is to suggest an effective technique for choosing cluster heads in WSNs to increase the lifetime of the network. To accomplish this task, Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) technique has been used. The general GWO was updated in this paper to meet the particular purpose of cluster head selection in WSNs. In this article, we have considered eleven attributes in the fitness function for the proposed algorithm. The simulation is carried out under different conditions. The results obtained show that the proposed protocol is superior in terms of energy consumption and network lifetime by evaluating the proposed protocol (i.e. CH-GWO protocol) with some well-existing cluster protocols. Reverse mortgage is one of the products (perhaps the main one) that is good to obtain additional income by using the habitual residence as collateral. The main objective of this paper is to analyse the effects that reverse mortgage contracting has on household finances over the lifetime of a family according to the socioeconomic group to which it belongs in Spain. Four indicators are employed to measure the immediate and long-term effects. We use a stochastic model with a double source of randomness, survival and entry into dependency, and apply it to the three socioeconomic groups obtained with cluster methodology from the 2017 Spanish Household Financial Survey data. We conclude that the effects are very different depending on the group: regarding only the effects of hiring a reverse mortgage on the income of the family, widowed women aged between 81 and 85 years, with low income and expenses as well as little net wealth, and a habitual residence that represents half of her net wealth (Cluster 1) are the most benefited; considering that the highest impact indicators are on the probability of illiquidity and on the value of lack of liquidity, the use of reverse mortgages benefits more the families in Cluster 3 (high income and expenses and really high net wealth, head of household aged between 76 and 80 years) and less the families in Cluster 2 (medium income, net wealth and expenses, head of household aged between 65 and 75 years).
