This article discusses a study that aimed to identify specific plasma-derived exosomal microRNA (exo-miRNA) signatures associated with postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) and evaluate their potential as biomarkers for early PMOP detection. The study included 272 postmenopausal women volunteers and used small RNA sequencing to analyze exo-miRNA profiles. The results revealed differentially expressed exo-miRNAs that were associated with PMOP and early-stage PMOP (osteopenia), suggesting their potential as biomarkers for detecting these conditions. The study also identified three exo-miRNAs (hsa-let-7d-3p, hsa-miR-24-3p, and hsa-miR-550a-3-5p) as potential biomarkers for PMOP detection and demonstrated their discriminative power in distinguishing PMOP and early-stage PMOP from healthy controls. Background: Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP) is a rare genetic disease caused by a gain-of-function mutation in ACVR1, which is a bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) type I receptor. Moreover, it causes progressive heterotopic ossification (HO) in connective tissues. Using FOP patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells (FOP-iPSCs) and mouse models, we elucidated the underlying mechanisms of FOP pathogenesis and identified a candidate drug for FOP. Methods: In the current study, healthy mesenchymal stem/stromal cells derived from iPSCs (iMSCs) expressing ACVR2B-Fc (iMSCACVR2B-Fc), which is a neutralizing receptobody, were constructed. Furthermore, patient-derived iMSCs and FOP mouse model (ACVR1R206H, female) were used to confirm the inhibitory function of ACVR2B-Fc fusion protein secreted by iMSCACVR2B-Fc on BMP signaling pathways and HO development, respectively. Results: We found that secreted ACVR2B-Fc attenuated BMP signaling initiated by Activin-A and BMP-9 in both iMSCs and FOP-iMSCs in vitro. Transplantation of ACVR2B-Fc-expressing iMSCs reduced primary HO in a transgenic mouse model of FOP. Notably, a local injection of ACVR2B-Fc-expressing iMSCs and not an intraperitoneal injection improved the treadmill performance, suggesting compound effects of ACVR2B-Fc and iMSCs. Utilizing porphyrin molecules as the building blocks (ligands) of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) leads to porphyrinic MOFs (including incorporation of functional materials into porphyrinic MOFs), whereas the immobilization of porphyrin molecules into porous MOFs afford porphyrin@MOFs. These two kinds, collectively regarded as porphyrin-based MOFs (PP-MOFs), are known to feature distinct photophysical and electrochemical properties lending towards several applications. This is because PP-MOFs can overcome the instability and self-quenching issues oft-encountered in porphyrins. Thanks to the ordered immobilization of porphyrins and electron-hopping mobility, this relatively new class of MOFs has received a surge of attention in sensing environmental pollutants. This review will explore the strengths and weaknesses of PP-MOFs in this context, as well as the influence of various sensory mechanisms associated with them. Libraries of porphyrinic MOFs and porphyrin@MOFs are reviewed herein, a number of them featuring the optimal selectivity and sensitivity for device fabrication. • We propose a cooperative optimized strategy for achieving high energy storage performance by introducing linear dielectric CBST into BNT ceramic. • Doping CBST enhances the relaxor behavior of BNT ceramic, which collectively improves breakdown strength and delays premature saturation polarization. • A high recoverable energy density of 3.83 J/cm3 and an energy efficiency of 77.9 % are successfully obtained in the BNT-0.12CBST ceramic. • The phase diagram of this new solid solution has been established. Our study shows great potential for practical applications in pulse power systems. For energy storage applications in Bi 0.5 Na 0.5 TiO 3 (BNT)-based materials, the key challenges are the premature polarization saturation and low breakdown electric field (E b), which confine the energy storage capacity of BNT and significantly restrict progress in advancing pulsed power capacitors. Hence, the cooperative optimization strategy of band structure and defect engineering was proposed, which successfully obtained a high recoverable energy density of 3.83 J/cm3 and an energy efficiency of 77.9 % in the Bi 0.5 Na 0.5 TiO 3 -0.12Ca 0.85 Bi 0.1 (Sn 0.5 Ti 0.5)O 3 (BNT-0.12CBST) ceramics. Doping the BNT matrix with CBST has been shown to not only reduce grain size but also enhance relaxor behavior, which collectively improves breakdown strength and delays polarization saturation. Furthermore, the x = 0.12 ceramic also exhibits a commendable discharge power density of 91.9 MW/cm3 and a transient discharge time of 40 ns. The higher resistivity and lower oxygen vacancy concentration are conductive to acquire superior breakdown electric field and energy storage performance. We determine the crystal structure, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of the studied ceramics in a wide range of temperatures and concentrations, and a phase diagram is constructed, which illustrates the complex phases present and their transformation behavior. The ability of the minimum cost consensus model (MCCM) to promote consensus reaching in the domain of group decision-making (GDM) has been extensively studied. Recently, the MCCM has been enhanced by introducing the consensus principle and tolerance level to achieve a soft consensus. However, the potential impact of asymmetric and uncertain unit adjustment costs on the effectiveness of the consensus reaching process (CRP) has been overlooked. This paper aims to investigate the implications of uncertain asymmetric costs for achieving consensus with a certain level of tolerance, where new robust MCCMs with uncertain asymmetric costs are constructed under four uncertainty sets for the unit adjustment costs. Considering the linear uncertain-constrained tolerance level and consensus level, we incorporate the insight of an expert with a cost-free threshold into models. Additionally, through a pollutant emission application, the proposed robust MCCMs are able to effectively handle uncertainties arising from costs and improve the quality of the CRP compared to the traditional models. Natural resources, such as light and CO 2 , are required to increase crop yields in protected agriculture. Developing efficient regulation methods to reduce costs and increase yields has become a major challenge for actual production. This work proposed a framework for meeting this challenge and supporting the management of environmental regulation. Photosynthesis rate was used as the yield index, and a photosynthesis rate model was constructed using support vector regression. Moreover, a regulation cost function for light and CO 2 was constructed. Then, the non-inferior solutions (NIS) for environmental regulation were determined by an improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ (i-nsGA Ⅱ). The curvature theory was applied to calculate the optimal solution in the NIS set. A set of seedling tomato data was used to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed method. Compared with the other two regulation methods (saturation regulation method and U-chord method), the results indicated that the proposed method had the best performance. About 80% of the maximum photosynthesis rate could be obtained at a regulation cost of about 51%. Nanoplastics and antibiotics frequently co-exist in water polluted by algal blooms, but little information is available about interaction between substances. Erythromycin, as a representative of antibiotics, has been frequently detected in aquatic environments. This investigation attempted to reveal the interaction mechanism of nanoplastics and erythromycin on Chlorella pyrenoidosa. Results demonstrated that the joint toxicity of erythromycin and nanoplastics was dynamic and depended on nanoplastics concentration. Antagonistic effects of 1/2 or 1 EC 50 erythromycin and nanoplastic concentration (10 mg/L) on the growth of C. pyrenoidosa was observed. The joint toxicity of 1/2 or 1 EC 50 erythromycin and nanoplastic concentration (50 mg/L) was initially synergistic during 24–48 h and then turned to antagonistic during 72–96 h. Consequently, antagonistic effect was the endpoint for joint toxicity. Integration of transcriptomics and physiological biochemical analysis indicated that the co-existence of nanoplastics and erythromycin affected the signal transduction and molecular transport of algal cell membrane, induced intracellular oxidative stress, and hindered photosynthetic efficiency. Overall, this study provided a theoretical basis for evaluating the interactive mechanisms of nanoplastics and antibiotics. In this study, we compared the quality of iron walnut oil (IWO) oleogels prepared with different oleogelators, including γ-oryzanol/β-sitosterol (OZ-PS), γ-oryzanol/triglyceride (OZ-TC), monoglycerides (MGS), beeswax (BW), beeswax-monoglycerides (BW-MGS), and carnauba wax (CW). The physicochemical and component properties, rheological and textural parameters, macroscopic morphologies, and antioxidant capacities of the resulting oleogels were analyzed. In addition, their microscopic properties were analyzed using Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy, and polarized light microscopy (PLM). The results showed that the gel structures produced by different oleogelators did not change the fatty acid composition of IWO. In addition, the IWO oleogel prepared with OZ-PS had a more stable network structure, excellent hardness at 4℃ (1116.51 g), better antioxidant capacity (766.50 μmol TE/kg) and higher total phenolic content (14.98 mg/kg) than any other experimental IWO oleogels. Moreover, comprehensive ranking by principal component analysis of numerous characteristics showed that the OZ-PS oleogel (2.533) ranked first among the six oleogels studied. Therefore, the IWO oleogel prepared with OZ-PS is a promising product, and our results provide guidance for the preparation of IWO oleogels, such as to increase their applications in the food industry. Strength prediction under the action of pores is crucial for the safety of ceramics. Here, a quantitative prediction model of pore-strength response under mode-I loading was developed based on the new mapping relationship between stress intensity factor and tip radius. The new model was proved to have great application after comparison and analysis of the pore-strength test data of three typical ceramics as well as the pertinent data as-reported in the literature. Results indicated that when the tip radius of pore (ρ) exceeds the critical value (ρ c = K Ic 2/(π σ 0 2)), the stress intensity factor increases as a power function with increasing ρ , at which point the strength decay is significantly weakened, and when the ρ is lower than the ρ c , the pore can be equated to a crack problem. Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 TiO 3 -based relaxor ferroelectric ceramics have attracted widespread attention due to their potential applications in energy storage capacitors for pulse power system. We herein propose a synergistic strategy of introduction of 6s2 lone pair electrons, breaking the long-range ferroelectric order, and band structure engineering for high performance energy storage by introducing Bi(Mg 0.5 Sn 0.5)O 3 (BMS) with weak ferroelectric active cations into 0.7Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 TiO 3 -0.3SrTiO 3 (BNT-ST) to form BNT-ST-BMS ceramics. The doped ceramics display the excellent dielectric stability versus temperature and frequency. The suitable BMS doping can increase the band gap of the BNT-ST ceramic and effectively avoids early dielectric breakdown and polarization saturation. The BNT-ST-BMS ceramic in the composition of x = 0.08 exhibits an outstanding recoverable energy storage density (W rec) of 5.99 J/cm3, together with a good efficiency (ƞ) of 76% as well as an excellent dielectric stability versus temperature (Δε r /ε r(150°C) ≤ ±15%) and frequency. Predicting the crystal structure is essential to address the reliance on serendipity for facilitating the discovery and design of high‐performance high‐entropy oxides (HEOs). Here, three classic algorithms‐based machine learning models to predict the crystal structure of HEOs are successfully established and analyzed by combining five metrics, and the XGBoost classifier shows excellent accuracy and robustness with ACC and F1 scores up to 0.977 and 0.975, respectively. SHAP summary plot indicates that the anion‐to‐cation radius ratio (rA/rC) has the greatest impact on crystal structure, followed by difference in Pauling and Mulliken electronegativities (ΔχPauling and ΔχMulliken). It is noteworthy that the rA/rC, ΔχPauling, and ΔχMulliken lower than 0.35, 0.1, and 0.2, respectively, tend to lead to a fluorite crystal structure, whereas rock‐salt and spinel crystal structures are always formed. Prenatal lethality associated with mouse knockout of Mettl16, a recently identified RNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) methyltransferase, has hampered characterization of the essential role of METTL16-mediated RNA m6A modification in early embryonic development. Here, using cross-species single-cell RNA sequencing analysis, we found that during early embryonic development, METTL16 is more highly expressed in vertebrate hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) than other methyltransferases. In Mettl16-deficient zebrafish, proliferation capacity of embryonic HSPCs is compromised due to G1/S cell cycle arrest, an effect whose rescue requires Mettl16 with intact methyltransferase activity. We further identify the cell-cycle transcription factor mybl2b as a directly regulated by Mettl16-mediated m6A modification. Mettl16 deficiency resulted in the destabilization of mybl2b mRNA, likely due to lost binding by the m6A reader Igf2bp1 in vivo. Moreover, we found that the METTL16-m6A-MYBL2-IGF2BP1 axis controlling G1/S progression is conserved in humans. Collectively, our findings elucidate the critical function of METTL16-mediated m6A modification in HSPC cell cycle progression during early embryonic development. Cotton is an important economic crop; therefore, enhancing cotton yield and cultivating superior varieties are key research priorities. The seedling stage, a critical phase in cotton production, significantly influences the subsequent growth and yield of the crop. Therefore, breeding experts often choose to measure phenotypic parameters during this period to make breeding decisions. Traditional methods of phenotypic parameter measurement require manual processes, which are not only tedious and inefficient but can also damage the plants. To effectively, rapidly, and accurately extract three-dimensional phenotypic parameters of cotton seedlings, precise segmentation of phenotypic organs must first be achieved. This paper proposes a neural network-based segmentation algorithm for cotton seedling organs, which, compared to the average precision of 75.4% in traditional unsupervised learning, achieves an average precision of 96.67%, demonstrating excellent segmentation performance. The segmented leaf and stem point clouds are used for the calculation of phenotypic parameters such as stem length, leaf length, leaf width, and leaf area. Comparisons with actual measurements yield coefficients of determination R 2 of 91.97%, 90.97%, 92.72%, and 95.44%, respectively. The results indicate that the algorithm proposed in this paper can achieve precise segmentation of stem and leaf organs, and can efficiently and accurately extract three-dimensional phenotypic structural information of cotton seedlings. In summary, this study not only made significant progress in the precise segmentation of cotton seedling organs and the extraction of three-dimensional phenotypic structural information, but the algorithm also demonstrates strong applicability to different varieties of cotton seedlings. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is not sensitive to most chemotherapy drugs, leading to poor chemotherapy efficacy. Recently, Trametinib and Palbociclib have promising prospects in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. This article aims to explore the effects of Trametinib on pancreatic cancer and address the underlying mechanism of resistance as well as its reversal strategies. The GDSC (Genomics of Drug Sensitivity in Cancer) and CTD2 (Cancer Target Discovery and Development) were utilized to screen the potential drug candidate in PDAC cell lines. The dose-increase method combined with the high-dose shock method was applied to induce the Trametinib-resistant PANC-1 and MIA PaCa-2 cell lines. The CCK8 proliferation assay, colony formation assay, flow cytometry, and western blot were conducted to verify the inhibitory effect of Trametinib and Palbociclib. RNA-seq was performed in resistant PDAC cell lines to find the differential expression genes related to drug resistance and predict pathways leading to the reversal of Trametinib resistance. The GDSC and CTD2 database screening revealed that Trametinib demonstrates a significant inhibitory effect on PDAC. We found that Trametinib has a lower IC50 than Gemcitabine in PDAC cell lines. Both Trametinib and Gemcitabine can decrease the proliferation capacity of pancreatic cells, induce cell cycle arrest, and increase apoptosis. Simultaneously, the phosphorylation of the AKT and ERK pathways were inhibited by the treatment of Trametinib. In addition, the RNA-seq of Trametinib-induced resistance PDAC cell lines reveals that the cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK)-RB-E2F regulatory axis and G2/M DNA damage checkpoint might lead the drug resistance. Besides, the combination of Trametinib with Palbociclib could inhibit the proliferation and cell cycle of both resistant cells lines and also restore the sensitivity of drug-resistant cells to Trametinib. Last but not least, the interferon-α and interferon-γ expression were upregulated in resistance cell lines, which might lead to the reversal of drug resistance. The study shows Trametinib has a critical inhibitory effect on PDAC. Besides, the combination of Trametinib with Palbociclib can inhibit the proliferation of PDAC-resistant cells. Background: The role of Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase long chain (ACADL) in different tumor types had different inhibiting or promoting effect. However, its role in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) carcinogenicity is not clear. Method: In this study, we utilized The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database to analyze ACADL expression in NSCLC and its correlation with overall survival. Furthermore, we investigated the function of ACADL on cellular proliferation, invasion, colony, apoptosis, cell cycle in vitro with NSCLC cells. Mechanistically, we evaluated the regulatory effect of ACADL expression on its downstream factor yes-associated protein (YAP) by assessing YAP phosphorylation levels and its cellular localization. Finally, we verified the tumorigenic effect of ACADL on NSCLC cells through xenograft experiments in vivo. Results: Compared to adjacent non-cancerous samples, ACADL significantly down-regulated in NSCLC. Overexpression of ACADL, effectively reduced the proliferative, colony, and invasive capabilities of NSCLC cells, while promoting apoptosis and inducing cell cycle arrest. Moreover, ACADL overexpression significantly enhanced YAP phosphorylation and hindered its nuclear translocation. However, the inhibitory effect of the overexpression of ACADL in NSCLC cells mentioned above can be partially counteracted by YAP activator XMU-MP-1 application both in vitro and in vivo. Conclusion: The findings suggest that ACADL overexpression could suppress NSCLC development by modulating YAP phosphorylation and limiting its nuclear shift. Antiferroelectric materials exhibit fantastic application potential in multifunctional devices due to their special structure and polarization/strain-electric field responses. However, it has long been challenging to realize multifunctionality in PbHfO 3 , one of the prototypical antiferroelectrics, due to its poor sinterability and structural complexity. To address these issues, we report an effective strategy to obtain fine and dense PbHfO 3 ceramics by the solid-state reaction method involving a liquid phase sintering mechanism. The crystal structure, microstructure, phase transitions, energy storage, and strain performance are systematically investigated. A high recoverable energy density W reco (7.29 J/cm3) and a large strain (0.51%) are achieved with a temperature-stable (25 ∼ 175 °C) feature. By combination of synchrotron and laboratorial X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, dielectric and impedance spectroscopy, and density-functional-theory calculations, the high and temperature-stable energy-storage and strain properties are determined to arise from the stable antiferroelectric nature of PbHfO 3 with a large polarization in a broad temperature range and its transformation to a ferroelectric phase with R 3 c symmetry under electric field. Furthermore, the ceramics present a negative temperature coefficient of resistance in a higher temperature range of 400 ∼ 600 °C. The electrochemical NRR, which can be driven by renewable energy sources, is an emerging strategy for addressing the high energy consumption and CO 2 emission issues caused by the traditional Haber–Bosch ammonia synthesis technique. FePc catalyzes the electrochemical ammonia synthesis reaction well, but intermolecular π-stacking and multi-layer overlapping lead to low NH 3 yields. Here, [Bmim][Cl] and [Bmim][NTF 2 ] ILs were used to induce monolayer dispersion of FePc. Ionic-liquid-induced FePc electrocatalyst, namely FePc/C-700, which was constructed with ILs as the carbon source, gave an excellent NH 3 yield (24.25 μg mg cat −1 h−1) and Faradaic efficiency (30.59%) at − 0.1 V. The formation of a monolayer FePc structure was confirmed by HAADF-STEM and XANES. The results of DFT calculations and NRR experiments showed that the monolayer FePc structure promoted N 2 adsorption and inhibited the competitive HER. To improve the microwave deicing efficiency of airport concrete pavement, carbonyl iron powder (CIP) was used as an absorbing material to prepare the microwave-absorbing cement mortar. Firstly, to characterize the microwave absorption ability of the mortar, its electromagnetic (EM) parameters and microwave reflection loss (RL) with different CIP content were investigated by using the coaxial vector network analyzer (CVNA) and arching reflected method, respectively. Then, the microwave heating rate and deicing efficiency of the mortar coated with ice was investigated under different icing temperature and ice layer thickness conditions with a microwave heating frequency of 2.45 GHz. Finally, the mechanical strength of mortar after deicing was tested to analyze the effect of an icing-deicing cycle on its engineering performance. The results showed that at the total frequency band, the mean RL and effective bandwidth of 10CCM was −2.8 dB lower and 1.6 GHz wider than that of the control group. Meanwhile, at 2.45 GHz, the RL of 10CCM was 1.31 times lower than that of the control group. When the icing temperature and ice layer thickness were − 10 °C and 1 cm, the heating rate of 10CCM was 1.34 times higher than that of the control group. Compared to the icing temperature, the changes in ice layer thickness on the mortar surface had less effect on its heating rate. After deicing, the CIP mortar still had favorable mechanical strength. Hence, the CIP was a favorable absorbing material that could be applied to cement mortar to improve the microwave deicing efficiency of the concrete pavement during long-term service. • CIP effectively improves the EM properties and microwave absorption of mortar. • Deicing efficiency of mortar gradually increases with increasing CIP content. • The effect of icing temperature on the deicing efficiency of mortar is significant. • After icing-deicing cycle, the CIP mortar has favorable mechanical strength. Telemedicine is a powerful carbon reduction strategy in the health sector, reducing carbon emissions by reducing the need to travel. Widespread patient acceptance and adoption is a prerequisite for realizing the potential of telemedicine, however, barriers that prevent telemedicine from reaching its potential persist. The integrated telemedicine patient adoption model is constructed by incorporating socioeconomic factors, health behaviors, psychological characteristics, and technological factors to address the dual attributes of healthcare and technology in telemedicine. The advanced Structural Equation Model-fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (SEM-fsQCA) hybrid approach is then used to analyze the influencing factors of telemedicine patient adoption behavior and the complex process of their synergistic interaction, thereby revealing the impact mechanism of patient adoption behavior. The findings indicate that PLS-SEM and fsQCA are complementary analytical methods providing comparable results. The SEM-based findings indicate that perceived usefulness, trust, social influence, economic benefits, and perceived severity have significant and positive effects on the intention to use telemedicine, while perceived usefulness fully mediates the relationship between perceived ease of use and intention to use, and partially mediates the relationship between trust and intention to use. While health consciousness amplifies the effects of perceived usefulness, social influence, and perceived severity on intention to use, and the intention to use further have a positive and significant effect on adoption behavior. Additionally, the fsQCA-based results reveal multiple potential concurrent causal relationships between influencing factors and the adoption behavior, and provide five formation pathways for telemedicine patient adoption behavior. This study provides important insights for health authorities, telemedicine managers, technology companies and their staff, and offers clear suggestions for designing telemedicine adoption strategies to ensure successful patient engagement.
