Utilizing Teun A. van Dijk's CDA framework, the analysis encompasses macro, superstructure, and micro structures. The macro-structural analysis reveals the social and political context, identifying social groups and emphasizing narrative importance. The critical discourse superstructure analysis delves into linguistic patterns, representations of power, and strategic language use. Finally, the micro-structural analysis explores word choice, grammar, writing style, and sentence structure to understand how language constructs arguments and responds to accusations. Through these lenses, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of how the news shapes and reflects social and political dynamics, contributing valuable insights into media discourse surrounding political events in Indonesia. The Japanese art of paper folding called origami has underlying principles that can help in the development of complex metamaterial structures. The purpose of the paper is to design, model, and analyze a feasible, more sustainable impact absorbing structure. There has been continuous development in the field of space science and aerodynamics, which has led us to encounter a lot of challenges. One of such challenges is smooth landing of objects. We started by creating tessellations with the help of Miura ori fold to get a repeating structure of the TCO (Triangulated Cylindrical Origami) with an aim to create a general-purpose design for Impact absorbing applications. A comparison between origami TCO’s sheets, hexagonal sandwich sheets, and cardboard corrugated sheets was made. The TCO cells are better at absorbing energy absorption due to their physical structure. The result shows that the Origami TCO sheets exceed the traditional honeycomb and corrugated sheets. As the model we developed is a general-purpose design, it can be upscaled or downscaled depending on its required application, which can range from nano technology to space technology. Background: Pigment Red 53 is a dangerous synthetic dye that is often added to cosmetics, even though its use in cosmetic products has been prohibited because of possible impacts on health. Faster and more sensitive detection of Pigment Red 53 is needed for onsite analysis to protect the community from illegal cosmetics that contain the dye. Indicator color charts are a kind of analytical method that can be used to detect Pigment Red 53 in cosmetic products, including lipstick, rouge, and eyeshadow. Such charts are practical, fast, and can be used for onsite analysis. Methods: In this study, an indicator for Pigment Red 53 detection was obtained through a reagent reaction that caused a specific color change. An indicator color chart was then produced by setting out in paper form the series of colors which resulted from the reaction of specific chemical reagents and Pigment Red 53 solutions at concentrations of 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 ppm. Results: The testing results showed that the indicator color chart may be used as an initial screening method for the detection of Pigment Red 53 in cosmetic products with a detectable minimum concentration of 10 ppm. Out of nine samples, only one (Eyeshadow 3) tested positive for Pigment Red 53. Further analysis was carried out on the indicator color chart and the results showed good agreement with TLC and UV–Vis spectrophotometry methods. Conclusion: The results reported in this paper demonstrate that the indicator color chart is a good prospective method for onsite analysis to detect Pigment Red 53 in cosmetic samples, with a lower detection limit compared to polymer‐based indicators. This paper presents a novel approach to analyzing trends in federated learning (FL) using automatic semantic keyword clustering. The authors collected a dataset of FL research papers from the Scopus database and extracted keywords to form a collection representing the FL research landscape. They employed natural language processing (NLP) techniques, specifically a pre-trained transformer model, to convert keywords into vector embeddings. Agglomerative clustering was then used to identify major thematic trends and sub-areas within FL. The study provides a granular view of the thematic landscape and captures the broader dynamics of research activity in FL. The key focus areas are divided into theoretical areas and practical applications of FL. The authors make their FL paper dataset and keyword clustering results publicly available. The present design of a set of worm gears used in a soot blower produced by a certain manufacturer has an efficiency of 68.8%. A soot blower is one of the most critical components in industrial applications for removing the large amounts of soot generated by boilers and is required to be operational 24×7. The energy consumption of the soot blower depends on its working efficiency and ultimately the design of its set of worm gears. This paper focuses mainly on the design and analysis of available industrial worm-gear sets used in soot blowers. The theoretical, experimental, and finite-element analysis approaches are validated for the stability of the worm gear set under typical input conditions. This paper also describes an analytical design of experiments (DOE) approach to identify the most significant factor for performance (efficiency) improvement and suggests some design improvements for the worm gear set using the profile modification approach. These ensure the efficiency improvement of the current industrial design of the set of worm gears used in a soot blower. The analytical DOE approach helped identify that the number of worm wheel teeth (Z2) and gear module (m) are the two most significant factors affecting performance. Accordingly, based on the improved design, the final efficiency increased from 68.8% to 74.6% (~8.5% increment), resulting in lower power consumption during industrial application. Aim: The overamplification of human epidermal growth factor (HER2) in breast cancer (BC) has been the subject of numerous research publications since its discovery in 1987. This is the first bibliometric analysis (BA) conducted on HER2-positive (HER2+) BC. The purpose of this BA is to analyze the published research on HER2+ BC from 1987 to 2024, highlighting the most significant scientific literature, as well as the main contributing authors and journals, and evaluating the impact of clinical and lab-based publications on HER2+ BC research. Methods: The Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) was searched using the terms "Breast cancer" OR "Breast carcinoma" OR "Breast tumor" AND "HER2 positive" OR "HER2+". The search was limited by publication year (1987-2024) and only full English articles were included. WoS returned 7,469 relevant results, and from this dataset, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using the "analyze results" and "journal citation report" functions in WoS and the VOSviewer 1.6.16 software to generate bibliographic coupling and co-citation analysis of authors. Results: The analysis encompassed a total of 7,469 publications, revealing a notable increase in the annual number of publications, particularly in recent years. The United States, China, Italy, Germany, and Spain were the top five most prolific countries. The top five significant institutions that published HER2+ research were the University of Texas System, Unicancer, UTMD Anderson Cancer Center, Harvard University, and University of California System. Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, Clinical Cancer Research, and Clinical Breast Cancer were the top three notable journals with the highest number of HER2+ BC publications. Dennis Slamon (Nc = 45,411, H-index = 51) and Jose Baselga (Nc = 32,592, H-index = 55) were the most prolific authors. Evolving research topics include anti-HER2 therapy in the neoadjuvant setting, treatment of metastatic HER2+ BC, and overcoming therapy resistance. Conclusion: This study provides an overview of HER2+ BC research published over the past three decades. It provides insight into the most cited papers and authors, and the core journals, and identifies new trends. Featured Application: This review concludes the advantages of heat pipe technology and its application in permafrost regions are summarized, which can also provide recommendations for permafrost protection measures. Permafrost spans approximately 23–25% of the land in the northern hemisphere, primarily found in Russia, Canada, USA, and China. Numerous engineering projects, particularly those related to transportation, are situated within these permafrost regions. Due to the impact of highway construction and global warming, the permafrost beneath the infrastructure is deteriorating, leading to significant damage. Two phases closed thermosyphon (TPCT) is a widely accepted green countermeasure against the problem in permafrost regions. Although it has been applied to prevent permafrost degradation, their application presents significant challenges on account of the stronger endothermic action of asphalt pavement. This paper focused on a review of the thermosyphon technology and application in the permafrost. Moreover, the article highlighted the excellent working performance of the TPCT that improves the stability of the infrastructures and prevents it degrading due its excellent efficiency in terms of heat transfer. The industrial applications of the TPCT were also summarized, along with their limitations. Background This study conducted a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to identify the gaps in the existing literature related to Online marketing and brand awareness strategies for HEI. It has evaluated the current state of the literature on the given topic showing the pivotal role of online marketing and brand awareness in higher education for enrollment. Methods The study used a web-based application, Biblioshiny, which comes in the bibliometrix package. The study used the Scopus database to create the data set, given its conventional construction and quality of the sources. The analysis done is descriptive. By using the bibliometrix software, the study showed the authors name, articles, sources, citations, relevant journals and co-citation from the year 2017 to 2022. The time period selected by the study was five years which means that articles published from 2017 to 2022 have been taken for the study. Results We found that HEI online marketing and brand awareness have not been explored much as it has not reached the stage of maturity. Most of the publication was done during the time of Covid-19. Also, the role of brand awareness in student enrollment decisions for HEI requires more investigation. Top most publications their sources and top authors are identified. Conclusions Bibliometric analysis has provided valuable insights into the seminal work, emerging trends, and the gap in the study. This area of study has been explored but not as much as challenges, and the effectiveness of online marketing tools like seo, sem,ppc and more has not been measured. Further, this paper allows researchers to study by examining the pattern of publications by seeing the different authorships, co-authors, collaborations, relevant sources, and citations. The insights of this paper will help education policymakers devise more creative strategies to increase enrollment, ensuring sustained relevance and competitive advantage in higher education institutions .

The use of human and veterinary drugs has led to the accumulation of pharmaceuticals in various aquatic environments at progressively increasing levels, exhibiting strong ecological risks. Metformin is widely used as a first-line prescription drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as well as a livestock drug. Unlike other drugs, metformin is not metabolized in the body, and almost all of its intake is excreted and released into the aquatic environment via urine and feces, causing adverse effects on aquatic ecosystems. This review provides an overview of the occurrence and detection of metformin in the aquatic environment and its toxic effects on different aquatic organisms (fish, daphnia, rotifers, chlorella). Metformin has been documented in a variety of aqueous environments such as wastewater, surface water, and groundwater as well as drinking water. The wide distribution of metformin in the aqueous environment calls for the development of more accurate detection methods. This paper reviews detection methods for metformin in the aqueous environment and evaluates their advantages and disadvantages. Toxicity studies have shown that metformin can cause adverse reactions in fish, such as oxidative stress, genotoxicity, disruption of intestinal flora, and morphological alterations; it also affects the growth and reproduction of small aquatic organisms. This article is focused on the experimental study of flexural properties in different multi-layer carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites and correlations with the results of finite element method (FEM) simulations of mechanical properties. The comparison of the results shows the possibility of reducing the number of experimental specimens for testing. The experimental study of flexural properties for four types of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer matrix composites with twill weaves (2 × 2) was carried out. As input materials, pre-impregnated carbon laminate GG 204 T and GG 630 T (prepreg) and two types of carbon fiber fabrics (GG 285 T and GG 300 T (fabric)) were used. Multi-layer samples were manufactured from two types of prepregs and two types of fabrics, which were hand-impregnated during sample preparation. The layers were stacked using same orientation. All specimens for flexural test were cut with the longer side in the weft direction. Pre-impregnated carbon laminates were further impregnated with resin DT 121H. Carbon fabrics were hand-impregnated with epoxy matrix LG 120 and hardener HG 700. To fulfill the aim of this research, finite element method (FEM)-based simulations of mechanical properties were performed. The FEM simulations and analysis were conducted in Hexagon's MSC Marc Mentat 2022.3 and Digimat 2022.4 software. This paper presents the results of actual experimental bending tests and the results of simulations of bending tests for different composite materials (mentioned previously). We created material models for simulations based on two methods—MF (Mean Field) and FE (Finite Element), and the comparative results show better agreement with the MF model. The composites (GG 285 T and GG 300 T) showed better flexural results than composites made from pre-impregnated carbon laminates (GG 204 T and GG 630 T). The difference in results for the hand-impregnated laminates was about 15% higher than for prepregs, but this is still within an acceptable tolerance as per the reported literature. The highest percentage difference of 14.25% between the simulation and the real experiment was found for the software tool Digimat FE 2022.4—GG 630 T composite. The lowest difference of 0.5% was found for the software tool Digimat MF 2022.4—GG 204 T composite. By comparing the results of the software tools with the results of the experimental measurements, it was found that the Digimat MF 2022.4 tool is closer to the results of the experimental measurements than the Digimat FE 2022.4 tool. This paper contains research on the development of a fault-tolerant six-phase synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) based on the stator adopted from a general-purpose three-phase induction motor. In the design and calculation process, an extended Clarke transformation was developed for a six-phase asymmetrical system. To verify the proposed design approach, a field–circuit model of electromagnetic phenomena in the studied motor was developed and used to study the motor performance. The increased torque value and reduction in torque ripples were confirmed by comparison to the classical three-phase SynRM design. To illustrate fault tolerance capabilities, the operation of the studied three- and six-phase synchronous reluctance motors under inverter-fault conditions was examined. The conducted analysis shows, among other things, that from the electromagnetic performance point of view, only the proposed six-phase machine is able to properly operate under inverter-fault conditions. The results of the winding design calculations, the performed simulations of six-phase motor operation, and the preliminary tests of the prototype motor are presented and discussed. The work-sampling method makes it possible to gain valuable insights into what is happening in production systems. Work sampling is a process used to estimate the proportion of shift time that workers (or machines) spend on different activities (within productive work or losses). It is estimated based on enough random observations of activities over a selected period. When workplace operations do not have short cycle times or high repetition rates, the use of such a statistical technique is necessary because the labor sampling data can provide information that can be used to set standards. The work-sampling procedure is well standardized, but additional contributions are possible when evaluating the observations. In this paper, we present our contribution to improving the decision-making process based on work-sampling data. We introduce a correlation comparison of the measured hourly shares of all activities in pairs to check whether there are mutual connections or to uncover hidden connections between activities. The results allow for easier decision-making (conclusions) regarding the influence of the selected activities on the triggering of the others. With the additional calculation method, we can uncover behavioral patterns that would have been overlooked with the basic method. The traditional systems of medicine are being subjected to rigours of standardization to compete with national and international markets to establish their credibility. The present paper involves an Ayurvedic formulation Rasayana churna. It comprises of the dried powders of three rejuvenating drugs viz., dried stem of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia Miers.), dried fruit of Gokshur (Tribulus terrestris Linn.) and dried pericarp of Amalaki (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.). All these plants are used in rasayana therapy. Rasayana Churna plays a very important role as an immunomodulator, rejuvenator, adaptogen, antioxidant and diuretic. Other important roles of rasayana churna involve elimination of toxins through urinary system and lowering the risk in kidney and cardiac disorders. The present study aims at analysis of the evaluation parameters of the inhouse and two marketed samples of rasayana churna (coded as IHRC, MRC and ZRC), for its morphological, microscopical, phytochemical, physicochemical, spectroscopical and biological evaluation aspects. The need of standardisation is justified in the range of variations obtained in the results of morphology and physicochemical parameters. The highest berberine content was found in MRC (1.19 μg/mL). The highest phenolic content was found in MRC (64.29±2.91 mg GAE/g) and highest flavonoid content was found in MRC (18.99±0.40 mg QUE/g). Samples also showed antioxidant activity in correlation with the amount of phenolic and flavonoid content present in them (MRC had the maximum activity with IC50 value of 204.09±14.64 µg/mL and 8.18±0.65 µg/mL for H2O2 and NO free radicals). The antiurolithiatic activity was studied and was found to be maximum for the aqueous extract of ZRC with 47.15% inhibition at 100 µg/mL within the first 2 min. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper investigates the manufacturing uncertainties at a 60 GHz millimeter-wave band for the monolithic hybrid microwave integrated circuits (MHMIC) fabrication process. It specifically deals with the implementation tolerances of thin-film gold microstrip transmission lines, titanium oxide thin-layer resistors, microstrip quarter-wavelength radial stubs, and active device implementation using the gold-bonding ribbons. The impacts of these manufacturing tolerances are assessed and experimentally quantified through prototyped MHMIC circuits. This allows us, on one hand, to identify the acceptable amount of dimensional variation enabling reasonable performances. On the other hand, it aims to establish a relationship between the manufacturing tolerances and the circuit parameters to provide more flexibility for the tolerance compensation and accuracy enhancement of the MHMIC fabrication processes. The analysis of the statistical values of wear of brake pads in operation, based on which a wear model was developed, is presented in this paper. This model can be used for predicting the remaining service life of brake pads according to the wagon mileage. The distribution function of wear on the upper and lower parts of the pad was determined, which made it possible to find the main qualitative characteristics, namely, the wear intensity, the γ-percentage wear, and the average pad wear at a specified wagon mileage. The results of the study can be factored for solving complex engineering problems of excessive wear of composite brake pads used for freight rolling stock; they could also help to extend the guaranteed overhaul period and improve the railway traffic safety. Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are porous crystals that have high designability and great potential in designing, encapsulating, and immobilizing nanozymes. COF nanozymes have also attracted extensive attention in analyte sensing and detection because of their abundant active sites, high enzyme-carrying capacity, and significantly improved stability. In this paper, we classify COF nanozymes into three types and review their characteristics and advantages. Then, the synthesis methods of these COF nanozymes are introduced, and their performances are compared in a list. Finally, the applications of COF nanozymes in environmental analysis, food analysis, medicine analysis, disease diagnosis, and treatment are reviewed. This article deals with the implementation of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) in a selected company. The aim is to analyse the use of AGVs in our country and abroad and to provide information about the use of AGVs in other countries and operations other than ours. The result of the analysis was a literature review, which points out the individual advantages and disadvantages of the use of AGVs in companies. Within the review we also address the issue of AMR vehicles, due to the modernization of existing AGVs in the company, or the replacement of AMRs with AGVs in general. Our aim is to show why AGVs can replace human work. This is mainly because of the continuous increase in the wages of employees, because of safety, but also because of the modernization of the selected company. The company has positive experience of AGVs in other sites. We wanted to point out a higher form of automation, and how it would be possible to use AMR vehicles for the same work as AGVs. In the company, we have identified jobs where we would like to introduce AGVs or AMR vehicles. Consequently, we chose the AGV from CEIT operated by magnetic tape and the AMR from SEER as an example. Based on studies, the demand for AGVs is expected to increase by up to 17% in 2019–2024. Therefore, the company is looking into the issue of the implementation of AGVs at multiple sites. The question which remains is the economic return and the possibility of investing in the automation of processes in the company, which we discuss in more detail in the conclusion of the article and in the research. The article describes the exact processes for AGVs, their workload, and also the routes for AGVs, such as loading/unloading points, stopping points, checkpoints, junctions with other AGVs, charging stations, and field elements, as well as their speed, frequency and the possibility of collision with other AGVs. Our research shows that by applying the new technology, the company will save a large amount of money on employee wages. The purchase of two AGVs will cost the company EUR 49,000, while the original technology used in the company cost EUR 79,200 annually. The payback period for such an investment is 8 months. The benefits of implementing AGVs are evaluated in the last section of this paper, where both the economic and time requirements of the different proposals are included. Threats will be relevant to organizations that do not consider security policies and regular software updates. This paper discusses applications for scanning and analyzing network traffic, such as Netdiscover, Wireshark, and Nmap. The model network is based on a virtual machine. This research aims to determine methods for scanning and analyzing network traffic and detecting network vulnerabilities. This study conducted a penetration test for Windows 10 using the Kali Purple operating system and identified the vulnerability of the operating system. The calculation of network traffic is performed with (1) the determination of the arithmetic means of network traffic, (2) the calculation of the variance, and (3) the determination of the magnitude of fluctuations relative to the average M; the range of maximum and minimum values of D; and the Hurst coefficient. As a result of the conducted research on students enrolled in the educational program 6B06301 -- Information Security Systems at Farabi University, the proficiency in MS Excel and C# skills amounted to 77.11%. This research undertakes an exhaustive exploration of the Auto Machine Learning-based approach (AutoML) to ascertain the source printer for microscopic printed image forensics. The primary focus is on enhancing precision and efficacy in a scenario with limited sample data, achieved by integrating traditional image processing methods with diverse AutoML representatives. The investigation involves a meticulous evaluation and comparative analysis of classical Machine Learning (ML) models and AutoML models in microscopic printed image forensics. Through extensive experiments, we highlight the inherent limitations of traditional models and underscore the compelling advantages offered by AutoML. Notably, we recognize AutoML's unique capability to discern varying degrees of uncertainty within printed patterns. The outcomes emphasize the prowess of Auto Machine Learning in improving the accuracy of printed image forensics, making it particularly promising for future research, especially given the tabular nature of the data and the imperative for a lightweight model suitable for embedded systems. The objective of this paper was to analyze poultry farmer's perception on the effectiveness of poultry extension service delivery in Calabar Municipal Area of Cross River State, Nigeria using appropriate standard methods by selecting 120 registered poultry farmers to obtain Primary data by questionnaire. Result from the study shows that poultry farmers had a mean age of 43 years. Majority (66%) of the farmers were men and about 86% of them were married. The farmers had a mean household size of 5 persons with majority (68%) of them having tertiary education. On average, the farmers had nine years of farming experience and a mean stock size of 1,175 birds. The result revealed 43% of the farmers had contact with extension agents once in the last one year. Farmers' perception of the delivery of extension and advisory services revealed that the farmers' perception was favourable and they expressed satisfaction with the delivery of four out of the nine poultry extension services available to them. They include; training on routine operations (4.0), advice on improved breeds of poultry (3.6), training on biosecurity measures (3.5) and training on diseases prevention and cure (3.3). The most important constraints as perceived by the respondents to limit effective extension services delivery among the poultry farmers includes; lack of funding of extension service (81%), inadequate number of extension agents (68%). The cloud accounting phenomenon is a component part of the innovative changes that accounting has undergone lately. The research paper aims to outline the bibliometric universe of the cloud accounting concept based on the methods, tools and techniques subscribed to bibliometrics in view of reflecting its representativeness through the lens of specialized literature. The results thus obtained consolidate the emblematic character of the cloud accounting issue in light of the massive interest manifested for its thoroughness and exploration equally by researchers, theoreticians, and practitioners. The study also stands out for its originality, being currently the only one dealing with issues of cloud accounting concept bibliometrics. The attribute of uniqueness of this paper is defined by shaping the research universe assigned to the phenomenon based on specialized literature, identifying the manner to reshape the profession and the field by changing the digital paradigm and illustrating the representativeness of technology in the academic community through the perspective of the bibliometrics tool. Likewise, an element of novelty is given by highlighting the definition of cloud accounting from the author’s perspective based on the image provided by the literature review.

Polysaccharides are a class of natural macromolecular polymers with complex and large molecular structures, which are closely related to their biological activities. However, traditional analytical methods can only provide limited information on the structures of polysaccharides. Mass spectrometry (MS) is an analytical method that measures the mass-to-charge ratio of molecules allowing for determination of the mass and calculation of the the molecular structure. As a powerful tool for polysaccharide structure analysis, MS can provide rich information, including molecular mass, polymerization degree, monosaccharide composition, glycosidic bond type, the order of arrangement of glycosyl groups, and substituent group sites, which has unique advantages in the characterization of polysaccharide structure. This paper summarizes the general pattern of mass spectral fragmentation of polysaccharides, introduces the principles and characteristics of different types of MS as well as representative applications of MS combined with electron ionization source, fast atom bombardment source, electrospray ionization source, matrix-assisted laser desorption ion source, real-time direct analysis source, ion mobility or tandem mass spectrometry for the structural elucidation of polysaccharides. Furthermore, future prospects for the application of new MS techniques for analyzing the structures of polysaccharides are discussed. The aim of this paper is to summarize the application of MS to provide scientific reference for the basic research work of polysaccharide compounds, such as quality standard, structural characterization, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetic, constitutive relationship, and the development and creation of polysaccharide food, health food, and clinical drugs.

Abstract GPT-4, as the most advanced version of OpenAI’s large language models, has attracted widespread attention, rapidly becoming an indispensable AI tool across various areas. This includes its exploration by scientists for diverse applications. Our study focused on assessing GPT-4’s capabilities in generating text, tables, and diagrams for biomedical review papers. We also assessed the consistency in text generation by GPT-4, along with potential plagiarism issues when employing this model for the composition of scientific review papers. Based on the results, we suggest the development of enhanced functionalities in ChatGPT, aiming to meet the needs of the scientific community more effectively. This includes enhancements in uploaded document processing for reference materials, a deeper grasp of intricate biomedical concepts, more precise and efficient information distillation for table generation, and a further refined model specifically tailored for scientific diagram creation.

Abstract Retained surgical items (RSIs) pose significant risks to patients and healthcare professionals, prompting extensive efforts to reduce their incidence. RSIs are objects inadvertently left within patients’ bodies after surgery, which can lead to severe consequences such as infections and death. The repercussions highlight the critical need to address this issue. Machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) have displayed considerable potential for enhancing the prevention of RSIs through heightened precision and decreased reliance on human involvement. ML techniques are finding an expanding number of applications in medicine, ranging from automated imaging analysis to diagnosis. DL has enabled substantial advances in the prediction capabilities of computers by combining the availability of massive volumes of data with extremely effective learning algorithms. This paper reviews and evaluates recently published articles on the application of ML and DL in RSIs prevention and diagnosis, stressing the need for a multi-layered approach that leverages each method’s strengths to mitigate RSI risks. It highlights the key findings, advantages, and limitations of the different techniques used. Extensive datasets for training ML and DL models could enhance RSI detection systems. This paper also discusses the various datasets used by researchers for training the models. In addition, future directions for improving these technologies for RSI diagnosis and prevention are considered. By merging ML and DL with current procedures, it is conceivable to substantially minimize RSIs, enhance patient safety, and elevate surgical care standards.

This paper examines the use of inverse multibody system simulations, focusing on its application in the automotive industry, particularly in the context of motorcycle dynamics. The study emphasizes the importance of accurately measuring various parameters, including the calibration of sensors and the determination of motorcycle kinematical description and weight distribution to build an accurate vehicle model. The research highlights the significance of the presented method in evaluating tire characteristics through different manoeuvres, such as ride resistances, longitudinal and lateral behaviours, and their combined dynamics. The results presented, demonstrate the correlation between the calculated tire forces and the motorcycle’s acceleration during these manoeuvres. However, the study acknowledges challenges, such as potential inaccuracies due to the rider’s movements and the limitations associated with sensor error and noise. The paper suggests potential remedies discussed in earlier research, urging further investigation into improving measurement accuracy and reliability in inverse multibody system simulations for motorcycles.

The aim of this paper is to study the sufficient conditions for the existence of attractor of a generalized cyclic iterated function system composed of a complete metric space and a finite collection of generalized cyclic F-contraction mappings. Some examples are presented to support our main results and concepts defined herein. The results proved in the paper extend and generalize various well known results in the existing literature.

Commodities play a pivotal role in the global economy, and their dramatic price fluctuations can affect national security and global economic stability. Based on the CiteSpace knowledge graph visualization analysis tool, it conducts a bibliometric analysis of the Chinese and English literature on commodity risk published from 2004 to 2023, aiming to reveal the keywords, emerging trends, major research institutions and their collaborative networks, trends in the issuance of articles, and major contributing countries, and authors. The presented article deals with the issue of inventory management optimization through modelling and simulation in the software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. Based on an in-depth analysis of the supply chain with an emphasis on inventory management, a simulation model was developed. It was optimized using the inventory theory methodology in combination with a discrete-event simulation approach. Dynamic simulation made it possible to perform experiments and optimize the existing state. The solution to the problem is elaborated on a case study to achieve the efficiency of the supply process of a specific operation of a clothing retail chain, which is struggling with the problems of excessive and inaccurate supply. This paper examines and compares the advertising language use in four video advertisements of two Vietnamese organic skincare brands, namely Cocoon, and Cococherry Mac An, and two American organic skincare brands which are Andalou Naturals and True Botanicals. Making vocabulary stick in your memory involves dedicating attention to what needs to be learned. There are three main factors involved (focus, quantity, and quality) which can be expressed as six principles (focus, accuracy, repetition, time-on-task, elaboration, and analysis). When we include motivation in this description, then there are two more principles (motivation and self-efficacy). These principles apply to both incidental and deliberate learning, and apply to a wide range of learning focuses beyond vocabulary. These principles are well supported by research evidence. We can use the principles for re-examining teaching and learning, Technique Feature Analysis, understanding research, developing autonomy in learning, guiding curriculum design, and determining future research needs. Maskwio'mi (Mi'kmaw language for "oil made from birch bark") is a traditional topical skin medicine of the Mi'kmaq people of Atlantic Canada and is produced in a torrefaction process by heating birch bark (Betula papyrifera, paper birch) inside a metal container in a fire. The resulting viscous, oily mixture is traditionally mixed with goose fat or bear grease to create a topical salve that is subsequently applied to affected skin areas. When birch bark is exposed to high temperatures, pyrolytic chemical processes produce a complex mixture of pharmacologically active compounds, including potentially harmful side products such as ortho-, meta-, and para-cresol. This study discusses the qualitative and quantitative GC-MS analysis of cresols found in maskwio'mi and the challenges of the complex organic matrix. Using caffeine as an internal standard, ortho-, meta-, and para-cresol in birch bark extract were determined to be in the approximate order of 50–1500 ppm range with 3.24 ± 0.09 × 102 ng mg−1 (324 ppm), 8.7 ± 1.0 × 102 ng mg−1 (87 ppm), and 12.4 ± 1.6 × 102 ng mg−1 (1240 ppm), respectively, and thus suitable by Health Canada and FDA cosmetics regulation standards when the extract is co-formulated in creams to concentrations of 0.1–5 wt.% for topical use. Diversity in the characteristics of agricultural locations has the potential to develop. Unfortunately, the weak transfer of technology based on the characteristics of the location indicates that this potential cannot grow properly. This research aims to synthesise a technology transfer model for an agricultural technology park (ATP) by considering site-specific conditions. This cross-case study was conducted at selected ATP locations. Model synthesis uses the system development life cycle stages of initiation, analysis, and design. The resource-based view approach was broken down into several variables during the analysis stage. Three location-specific technology transfer models were successfully developed: a technology transfer model based on highland specificity, a unique technology transfer model for urban farming, and a tourism village-based model. The main objective described in this paper is the optimization of technological parameters in the production of varistors based on recycled zinc oxide (ZnO). The content of this paper builds on our previous research aimed at proving that hydrometallurgically recovered ZnO material, from electric arc furnace dust, is suitable for applications in these semiconductors, an issue which has received very little attention at present. The focus of this research also corresponds to and supports the visions and strategies of environmental sustainability and the circular economy. Samples of ZnO varistors manufactured for this purpose were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and then the electrical parameters were measured and calculated. Based on the results of the microstructural analysis and electrical properties, prerequisites for the optimal adjustment of technological parameters such as sintering temperature and sintering time were derived, which will be the starting point for further research.

Abstract In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for a class of a fractional differential equation system of Riemann–Liouville type on infinite intervals with infinite-point boundary conditions. First, the higher-order equation is reduced to the lower-order equation, and then it is transformed into the equivalent integral equation. Secondly, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for each fixed parameter λ > 0 $\lambda >0$ by using the mixed monotone operators fixed-point theorem. The results obtained in this paper show that the unique positive solution has good properties: continuity, monotonicity, iteration, and approximation. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the application of our main results.

Abstract In this paper, we study fractional p 1 ( x , ⋅ ) & p 2 ( x , ⋅ ) $p_{1}(x,\cdot )\& p_{2}(x,\cdot )$ -Laplacian Schrödinger-type equations for Robin boundary conditions. Under some suitable assumptions, we show that two solutions exist using the mountain pass lemma and Ekeland’s variational principle. Then, the existence of infinitely many solutions is derived by applying the fountain theorem and the Krasnoselskii genus theory, respectively. Different from previous results, the topic of this paper is the Robin boundary conditions in R N ∖ Ω ‾ $\mathbb{R}^{N}\setminus \overline{\Omega}$ for fractional order p 1 ( x , ⋅ ) & p 2 ( x , ⋅ ) $p_{1}(x,\cdot )\& p_{2}(x,\cdot )$ -Laplacian Schrödinger-type equations, including concave-convex nonlinearities, which has not been studied before. In addition, two examples are given to illustrate our results.

Abstract This paper focuses on introducing and examining the class of generalized strongly n-polynomial convex functions. Relationships between these functions and other types of convex functions are explored. The Hermite–Hadamard inequality is established for generalized strongly n-polynomial convex functions. Additionally, new integral inequalities of Hermite–Hadamard type are derived for this class of functions using the Hölder–İşcan integral inequality. The results obtained in this paper are compared with those known in the literature, demonstrating the superiority of the new results. Finally, some applications for special means are provided.

Abstract In this paper, some fixed-point theorems are stated and proved in S-multiplicative metric spaces. We also show in this paper that some fixed-point results for various S-multiplicative metric spaces are equivalent to those of corresponding fixed-point results in S-metric spaces. Some examples are presented to validate the originality and applicability of our main results.

In this article we present some of the main aspects and the most recent results related to the following question: If the surface mean integral of every harmonic function on the boundary of an open set D is "almost'' equal to the value of these functions at x0 in D, then is D "almost'' a ball with center x0? This is the stability counterpart of the rigidity question (the statement above, without the two "almost'') for which several positive answers are known in literature. A positive answer to the stability problem has been given in a paper by Preiss and Toro, by assuming a condition that turns out to be sufficient for ∂D to be geometrically close to a sphere. This condition, however, is not necessary, even for small Lipschitz perturbations of smooth domains, as shown in our recent paper, in which a stability inequality is obtained by assuming only a local regularity property of the boundary of D in at least one of its points closest to x0.

Android malware is widespread and it is considered as one of the most threatening attacks recently. The threat is targeting to damage access data or information or leaking them; in general, malicious software consists of viruses, worms, and other malware. Current malware attempts to prevent being detected by any software or anti-virus. This paper describes recent Android malware detection static and interactive approaches as well as several open-source malware datasets. The paper also examines the most current state-of-the-art Android malware identification techniques including identifying by comparative evaluation the gaps between these techniques. As a result, an API-based dynamic malware detection framework is proposed for Android to provide a dynamic paradigm for malware detection. The proposed framework was closely inspected and checked for reliability where meaningful API packages and methods were discovered.

The Japanese art of paper folding called origami has underlying principles that can help in the development of complex metamaterial structures. The purpose of the paper is to design, model, and analyze a feasible, more sustainable impact absorbing structure. There has been continuous development in the field of space science and aerodynamics, which has led us to encounter a lot of challenges. One of such challenges is smooth landing of objects. We started by creating tessellations with the help of Miura ori fold to get a repeating structure of the TCO (Triangulated Cylindrical Origami) with an aim to create a general-purpose design for Impact absorbing applications. A comparison between origami TCO’s sheets, hexagonal sandwich sheets, and cardboard corrugated sheets was made. The TCO cells are better at absorbing energy absorption due to their physical structure. The result shows that the Origami TCO sheets exceed the traditional honeycomb and corrugated sheets. As the model we developed is a general-purpose design, it can be upscaled or downscaled depending on its required application, which can range from nano technology to space technology.

Indonesian cuisine, especially Bakso, is one of the trendy foods that many travelers try to consume. Among the variations of Bakso, Bakso Malang is one of the most popular variants that is much talked about in social media. The present study analyzes the sentiment text mining of Bakso Malang business on post covid period from a natural language processing (NLP) social perspective. The data was taken from scraping to social media by "bakso malang" keywords. A total of 331 lexicon-filtering Tweets were gathered in the middle of March 2023. The corpus data were analyzed by valance aware dictionary and sentiment reasoner (Vader) sentiment analysis. K-means conducted the cluster of expressions. The result shows the variation of sentiments expressed in social media by anger, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, and surprise with 1.21%, 1.21%, 4.83%, 32.33%, 3.02%, and 57.40%, respectively. Many contents were discussed with keywords of "malang", "bakso", "enak", "makan", "foodfess2", "mau", and "pengen". Behavioural insight shows joy expression when discussing Bakso Malang. This paper explores the idea of condensation transcription—which is defined as the reduction of lengthy collections of lexical elements or mathematical descriptions into short forms—as the point where mathematics and language learning cross-influence one another notably. To elaborate, condensation transcription is defined as the linguistic ability and procedure that permits the reconstruction and compacting of larger lexical sets into more manageable forms while maintaining the basic meanings of those sets. Such a phenomenon occurs when mathematical concepts are rewritten from page-long descriptions to figures and numerical entities, and when literary passages are compressed into their main ideas. Formulation of the problem. Word problems, main idea identifications, and essay writing are some of the most dreaded topics of study in mathematics and language. In order to suggest improvements in these challenging areas within the education of both disciplines, this paper’s research emphasizes the significance of condensation transcription and makes readers aware of it by examining lexical elements in language and mathematical entities, pinning their origins, and explaining what learning strategies can be extracted from language that could be useful in mathematics learning, and vice versa. Materials and methods. The resources used in this investigation include a comprehensive dictionary entry, a word problem, literary text passages, and written explorations of mathematical concepts, all of which are dissected through the implementation of condensation transcription’s conventional procedures, which are termed ‘analysis,’ ‘coding,’ and ‘decoding.’ This procedure is necessary to show, first-hand, how condensation transcription works and how it is applied, as well as what can be gleaned from its functions and applications. Results. The results point to condensation transcription being a basic concept in mathematics and language that powers mathematical learning through comprehension of language, and reversely. Conclusions. As a whole, this paper underscores the importance of having the knowledge of condensation transcription in language and mathematics. By recognizing the role of condensation transcription as a foundational language process, practitioners in both language and mathematics could make some of the most difficult concepts in both disciplines easier for students to grasp.

The class K of algebraic systems of signature σ is called a formula-definable class if there exists an algebraic system A of signature σ such that for any algebraic system B of signature σ it is B ∈ K if and only if Th(B) · Th(A) = Th(A). The paper shows that the formula-definable class of algebraic systems is idempotently formula-definable and is an axiomatizable class of algebraic systems. Any variety of algebraic systems is an idempotently formula-definite class. If the class K of all existentially closed algebraic systems of a theory T is formula-definable, then a theory of the class K is a model companion of the theory T. Also, in the paper the examples of some theories on the properties of formula-definability, pseudofiniteness and smoothly approximability of their model companion were discussed.

The present design of a set of worm gears used in a soot blower produced by a certain manufacturer has an efficiency of 68.8%. A soot blower is one of the most critical components in industrial applications for removing the large amounts of soot generated by boilers and is required to be operational 24×7. The energy consumption of the soot blower depends on its working efficiency and ultimately the design of its set of worm gears. This paper focuses mainly on the design and analysis of available industrial worm-gear sets used in soot blowers. The theoretical, experimental, and finite-element analysis approaches are validated for the stability of the worm gear set under typical input conditions. This paper also describes an analytical design of experiments (DOE) approach to identify the most significant factor for performance (efficiency) improvement and suggests some design improvements for the worm gear set using the profile modification approach. These ensure the efficiency improvement of the current industrial design of the set of worm gears used in a soot blower. The analytical DOE approach helped identify that the number of worm wheel teeth (Z2) and gear module (m) are the two most significant factors affecting performance. Accordingly, based on the improved design, the final efficiency increased from 68.8% to 74.6% (∼8.5% increment), resulting in lower power consumption during industrial application.

Pharmaceuticals are a group of man-made commercial and synthetic products and an important mainstay of modern society. However, their presence in aquatic environments is identified as a potential risk, causing harm to living things even at low concentrations ranging from ng L−1 to μg L−1. Due to their pseudo-persistence, bio-accumulation, and low elimination rate by conventional treatments, the majority of these xenobiotic contaminants and their metabolites are routinely released into the environment by sewage treatment plants and last longer in an aquatic environment. This review aims to provide an extensive report and a current state of knowledge concerning various classes of pharmaceutical compounds (PCs). It also discusses the occurrence, the analytical methods for the determination of PC micro-pollutants, and the remediation methods noted in recent literature focusing on the most recent advances. In this context, this review highlights the statistical data regarding the status of PCs in detection, analysis, and removal methods in aqueous media. In addition, this review provides an overview of the conventional and advanced technologies for the removal of PCs from water sources, offering critical comments, and discussing the challenges related to improving existing technologies for sustainable and eco-friendly management of water resources. It likewise emphasizes the importance of the combination of different treatment methods to reach up to 100% PC removal. Finally, gaps in the literature were found, and recommendations for further research were also cited in accordance with this paper. To the best of our knowledge, this review paper is among the rare works that deal with both: i) the analysis of large varieties of PCs in different water matrices, ii) the removal and identification of target analytes and their by-products generated during the elimination processes, and iii) the possible degradation pathways proposed by different studies. The weighted fractional Fourier transform (WFRFT) has always been considered a development of the discrete fractional Fourier transform (FRFT). This paper points out that the WFRFT is a discrete FRFT of eigenvalue decomposition, which will change the consistent understanding of the WFRFT. Extended definitions based on the WFRFT have been proposed and widely used in information processing. This paper proposes a unified framework for extended definitions, and existing extended definitions can serve as special cases of this unified framework. In further analysis, we find that the existing extended definitions are deficient. With the help of a unified framework, we systematically analyze the reasons for the deficiencies. This has great guiding significance for the application of the WFRFT and its extended definitions.

The aim of this review paper is to survey the fractal morphology of scale-invariant patterns. We are particularly focusing on the scale and conformal invariance, as well as on the fractal non-uniformity (multifractality), inhomogeneity (lacunarity), and anisotropy (succolarity). We argue that these features can be properly quantified by the following six adimensional numbers: the fractal (e.g., similarity, box-counting, or Assouad) dimension, conformal dimension, degree of multifractal non-uniformity, coefficient of multifractal asymmetry, index of lacunarity, and index of fractal anisotropy. The difference between morphological properties of mathematical and real-world fractals is especially outlined in this review paper.

The fractional-order grey prediction model is widely recognized for its performance in time series prediction tasks with small sample characteristics. However, its parameter-estimation method, namely the least squares method, limits the predictive performance of the model and requires time to address the ill-conditioning of the system. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel parameter-acquisition method treating structural parameters as hyperparameters, obtained through the marine predators optimization algorithm. The experimental analysis on three datasets validate the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.
