The first seven vertebrae of the spine are referred to as the cervical spine. X-rays, Computed Tomography scans, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and physical examinations methods are used to identify spine fractures which are complex and non-interpretable. To overcome these drawbacks, automated systems are required. In this paper, the fifth version of You Only Look Once (YOLO) and deep neural network have combined to detect dislocations in vertebral columns. YOLO v5 is used to detect major and minute fractures of C1 to C7 vertebrae and deep neural network is used to classify normal and fractured vertebrate. Training dataset provided by ASNR and ASSR spine radiology specialists is used to train model. Experimental results show that the proposed model offers classification accuracy of 97.7% and 89% on training and validation respectively. In multi-antenna systems, advanced techniques such as massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO), beamforming, and beam selection depend heavily on the accurate acquisition of the channel state. However, pilot contamination (PC) can be a major source of interference which degrades they are performance. Moreover, the severity of PC increases as more pilots are reused between users in the wireless systems. Researchers have shown that PC can be mitigated by using deep learning (DL) approaches. Nevertheless, when minimizing PC, the examination that identifies the applications and factors that distinguish these DL approaches is still limited. This paper reviews these DL approaches and the improvements needed to enhance their performance. A deep learning artificial neural network model developed in Tensorflow using the ReLU function is presented in this paper to determine the effect of nine different input parameters on the mechanical strength of self-compacting geopolymer concrete (SGC). With the application of the above model, it has been observed that the convergence outcome of our model is predicted with minimum error. The novelty of our model is the ReLU function which improves the accuracy of the results. Our study presents a systematic investigation of the compressive strength, flexural strength, and tensile strengths of SGC depending upon nine vital parameters, such as GFS, Fly ash, NaOH, Na2SiO3 content, Age of specimens, Slump Value, T50, L Box and J Ring value as input. A large number of experiments were conducted to prepare a comprehensive database of the mechanical strength of Flyash-GFS-based SGC. The database has a total of 396 samples which were collected from 132 distinct mixtures, where the minimum and maximum compressive strength value is 7.7 Mpa and 66.7 Mpa, respectively. For the prediction based on deep learning, authors have performed an adequate number of iterations for both training and testing using error estimation parameters such as mean absolute error (MAE), mean square error (MSE), and root mean square error (RMSE). The error parameter values for the compressive strength of SGC are 2.42, 2.94 and 1.07, respectively, for MAE, RMSE and MSE. Precoding is a critical signal processing technique used in wireless communication systems to enhance transmission performance. This paper initially provides a brief overview of various conventional precoding algorithms. The exploration includes various nonlinear precoding algorithms which outperform linear techniques in high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) scenarios. Moreover, the paper delves into practical considerations and provides insights into selecting the most suitable technique for specific communication scenarios. The deep learning-based hybrid precoder is designed using the MDL-AltMin algorithm and simulated results show a spectral efficiency of (SE) 40.96 dB compared with different precoding algorithms. The precoder model is modified with a Hybrid Precoding Net algorithm with a spectral efficiency of 21.07 dB for high values of SNR such as −30 and again compared with deep learning precoders. The HPNet model is proposed with a spectral efficiency of 23.04 dB with and without CSI (Channel State Information) at the transmitter. With the advancement in modulation formats, optical transmission systems are becoming more adaptable and dynamic. Predicting bit errors of higher-order modulation formats is a challenging problem for the optimum design of communication systems. The existing simulation methods have persisted by employing iterative procedures that frequently incur high computing expenses and time consumption. On the other hand, deep learning (DL) algorithms have demonstrated remarkable efficacy as practical computing tools, presenting a viable approach to accelerate modulation simulations. In this paper, an artificial neural network (ANN) based bit error rate (BER) estimation scheme is proposed for the popular modulation forms including 56 Gbps 16-quadrature amplitude modulation (16QAM), 100 Gbps 32QAM, and 120 Gbps 64QAM optical system. Based on constellation diagrams (CDs) acquired with different launch power, laser linewidth, transmission distance, and OSNR, amplitude histograms (AHs) are generated via a manual preprocessing method. The properly trained ANN architecture exhibits a computational speed that surpasses traditional simulation methods by a factor exceeding 347. Moreover, the design considerations including the number of layers, nodes, activation functions, learning rate, optimizers, and evolution epochs are also investigated in detail. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of progress made in ML from shallow to deep learning and its implications for food drying. Theoretical foundations, advantages, and limitations of various ML approaches employed in this domain are explored. Additionally, advancements in ML models, particularly those enhanced by optimization algorithms, are reviewed. Point cloud registration is the process of aligning and merging multiple point clouds into a same coordinate system. It has many applications in computer vision, robotics, 3D reconstruction, augmented reality, and autonomous driving. Despite its wide-ranging utility, traditional algorithms grapple with challenges such as substantial noise, outliers, limited overlap, motion distortions, and handling large scenes. These complexities impede the effective deployment of point cloud registration in practical real-world scenarios. Despite the complex punching shear behavior of reinforced concrete slabs have been comprehensively addressed in the literature, it is further essential to develop a universal design model comprising high accuracy and the simplicity for design practicability, adaptable to diverse conditions encountered in practice. Artificial intelligence applications, artificial neural networks (ANN), and more recently, various machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques veer off in a new direction in structural engineering context with improved accuracy and efficiency. The paper begins with the assessment of the capabilities of various artificial intelligence applications in predicting the punching shear strength of slab-column connections without shear reinforcement through the extensive database using 650 punching shear experiments from the literature. Critical parameters influencing the punching shear strength as well as the precision of the current code provisions in predicting this feature were then thoroughly examined in the paper. The results shown in this paper validated the competency of artificial intelligence applications in predicting the punching shear strength of such connections with increased accuracy and improved simplicity in practical terms. This paper proposes a novel approach, BTC-SAGAN-CHA-MRI, for the classification of brain tumors using a SAGAN optimized with a Color Harmony Algorithm. Brain cancer, with its high fatality rate worldwide, especially in the case of brain tumors, necessitates more accurate and efficient classification methods. While existing deep learning approaches for brain tumor classification have been suggested, they often lack precision and require substantial computational time.The proposed method begins by gathering input brain MR images from the BRATS dataset, followed by a pre-processing step using a Mean Curvature Flow-based approach to eliminate noise. The pre-processed images then undergo the Improved Non-Sub sampled Shearlet Transform (INSST) for extracting radiomic features. These features are fed into the SAGAN, which is optimized with a Color Harmony Algorithm to categorize the brain images into different tumor types, including Gliomas, Meningioma, and Pituitary tumors. This innovative approach shows promise in enhancing the precision and efficiency of brain tumor classification, holding potential for improved diagnostic outcomes in the field of medical imaging. The accuracy acquired for the brain tumor identification from the proposed method is 99.29%. The global burden of disease caused by cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) is increasing despite technical advancements in healthcare because of a dramatic rise in the developing nations that are experiencing rapid health transitions. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates 17.9 million deaths worldwide in 2021 and is connected to CVDs, or 32% of all deaths. Since ancient times, people have experimented with the methods that extend their lives. The proposed technology is still a long way for attaining the aim of lessening the mortality rates. Early detection and proactive management of CVD risk factors are crucial for reducing the burden of these diseases. In recent years, researchers have been exploring the potential of deep learning methods for predicting cardiovascular disease risk depending upon data collected from IoMT devices. Deep learning (DL) methods used for cardiovascular diseases prediction have been popular in this domain. Several DL techniques are implemented to accomplish efficient prediction-based CVD. There are several steps in the CVD employing deep learning model. IoT sensors and deep learning techniques are used to process large amounts of patient-related biomedical data, enabling doctors to closely monitor their patients and make choices in real-time. AbstractIn the realm of marine intelligence, effective ship classification across vast oceanic expanses is pivotal. Despite strides in conventional identification techniques, existing methods exhibit limitations in terms of effectiveness, robustness, and overall performance. This paper introduces a novel Elephant Herd optimization based Spiking Neural Networks (EHO-SNN) for discerning large ships, small vessels, and the absence of ships. Initial satellite images from the Airbus dataset capture ships at sea, subjected to preprocessing via the wavelet transform-based Retinex algorithm (WRA) to eliminate noise and fog artifacts. Deep learning mobile net facilitates feature extraction, while the Elephant Herd algorithm culls irrelevant features, honing in on the most pertinent ones. Finally, the classification through a spiking neural network, distinguishing between large ships, small vessels, and the absence of ships. Detected large and small ships are accurately positioned within a selected scene, while the absence of a ship terminates the process. The Proposed EHO-SNN model attains an impressive classification accuracy of 99.10%. Visible and near-infrared (VIS-NIR) spectral technology is fast, accurate, and non-destructive, which meets the requirements of the separation of coal and gangue. However, the performance of the classification models established by the spectra collected according to the usual single-location collection methods was unsatisfactory. Simulating the production conditions of coal gangue sorting, this paper proposed a multilocation spectral feature fusion identification method for coal and gangue to improve the identification accuracy and developed an identification system. In the multilocation spectral collection method, the spectra of the sample were collected at three locations under the probe, which obtained richer information. In the classification models built based on different feature fusion methods, the one-dimensional convolutional neural network model with feature layer fusion had the strongest classification ability, with an accuracy of 97.61%, an improvement of 8.84% over the best single-location model. The regions of interest for model decision-making were visualized using the Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping (Grad-CAM) method to explore the reasons why the multilocation feature fusion method was more advanced. Furthermore, a coal gangue identification system was developed using LabVIEW, which can achieve fast and accurate recognition with an accuracy of 93.15% and an expenditure time of 1.241 s. The information contained in a map is always represented by text, symbols, and map-type. Among them, map-type is a critical element that denotes the category and theme of map content, which can support map content extraction, map retrieval, and other map data mining tasks. However, the representations of map-type are always so complex and diverse that relies on multiple descriptive labels. Traditional deep learning methods regarding map-type classification are developed by single label, which only supports single-task classification. This means these approaches might overlook the common features among multiple map-type. In this paper, we propose a framework of multi-task deep learning strategy for employing the state-of-the-art deep convolutional neural network models, including ResNet50, MobileNetV2, and Inception-v3, to conduct efficient multi-label map-type classification. Specifically, we develop the dedicated classification module and label selection layer, and integrate them into the backbone of the deep convolutional network model. The experiments revealed that our proposed multi-task classification strategy can achieve greater accuracy in map-type classification, with less processing time required compared to state-of-the-art deep learning regarding map-type classification. This form of academic dishonesty not only undermines the credibility of educational institutions but also contributes to the graduation of incompetent students. In an era where artificial intelligence is revolutionizing various sectors, its application to upholding academic integrity is both timely and essential. This paper proposes an advanced deep learning-driven fingerprint verification model specifically designed to combat impersonation in university examinations. Unlike traditional methods, our model leverages the power of Siamese neural networks (SNN), renowned for their effectiveness in learning distinct features and similarities. The model, trained, validated, and tested using the SOCOFing dataset, demonstrated high accuracy and effectiveness in fingerprint identification, crucial for verifying identities in educational exam settings. The contribution of a plant is most significant for both human life and nature. The plant diseases affect whole plants, including leaves, stems, fruit, root, and flower. However, conventional approaches enclosed human involvement in classifying and identifying diseases. This process takes more time to complete a task. The main intention of this paper is to effectively develop a deep structured architecture for the detection of plant leaf diseases by introducing intelligent techniques, which have several processing steps. As a major contribution, Adaptive Fuzzy C-Means Clustering (FCM) is adopted for the abnormality segmentation. Moreover, the Improved Deep Neural Network (I-DNN) has achieved the greatest strength in enhancing the performance of plant leaf disease recognition. Here, Newly Updated Moth-Flame Optimization (NU-MFO) is utilised for enhancing the classification efficiency through a valuable objective function. The recommended method achieves higher accuracy rate in the recognition of diseases when compared to the baseline approaches. With the increasing popularity of big data analysis, research on zero-inflated count data with the copula method has garnered significant attention because zero-inflated count data do not follow a normal distribution and have high correlation among variables. Within the domain of quality control, there has been limited emphasis on multivariate statistical process control (SPC) techniques that specifically address the challenge of multicollinearity within regression models for multivariate zero-inflated count responses. In this paper, we explain a computational challenge in handling big data with parametric generalized linear models, such as the zero-inflated Poisson model. This challenge motivates us to introduce a copula-based deep learning and neural network model involving multivariate zero-inflated count response variables with highly correlated explanatory variables. This approach builds upon existing deep learning and neural network models designed for univariate count responses, expanding them to encompass multivariate count response models through the integration of a copula regression framework. To evaluate the performance of our proposed methodology, we conduct a comparative analysis of accuracies using the zero-inflated Poisson model, univariate deep learning and neural network models, multivariate count response deep learning and neural network models, and our proposed copula deep learning and neural network models. This assessment involves employing metrics such as root mean square error (RMSE), weighted mean absolute percentage error (WMAPE), and mean absolute deviation (MAD). We include both copula-based asymmetrical zero-inflated simulated data and real-world data. We also propose a temporal dependence control chart for assessing the temporal dependence between bivariate zero-inflated count response variables. Our proposed copula deep learning and neural network temporal control charts can check time-varying dependence and outliers by leveraging the Shewhart statistical process control chart and t-copula ARMA-GARCH dynamic control correlation. This work reviews Machine Learning applications in the sustainable utilization of waste materials as energy source so that analysis of the past works exposed the lack of reviewing study. To solve it, the origin of waste biomass raw materials is explained, and the application of Machine Learning in this section is scrutinized. After analysis of numerous papers, it is concluded that Machine Learning and Deep Learning are widely utilized in waste biomass production areas to enhance the quality and quantity of production, improve the predictions, diminish the losses, as well as increase storage and transformation conditions. The positive effects and application with the utilized algorithms and other effective information are collected in this work for the first time. According to the statistical analysis, in 20% out of the studies conducted about the application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning in waste biomass raw materials, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm has been applied. Automatic building detection from remote sensing images holds significant applications in various domains, including cartography, land-use change detection, urban planning, and 3D intelligent city construction. Driven by the innovation of deep learning technology, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have emerged as a powerful framework for automatic interpretation, exhibiting hierarchical feature generation and robust representation for building extraction. However, the inherent computational limitations of convolutional operators hinder the acquisition of an effective global receptive field. Recent advancements in deep learning have witnessed the adoption of the multi-head self-attention (MHSA) mechanism by Transformer, presenting the superiority of global context construction. Nonetheless, this network structure encounters difficulties in effectively modelling two-dimensional spatial structure features with scale variation in semantic segmentation and often has huge parameters with high algorithm complexity. To address the above problems, this paper proposed a hybrid deep neural network synergistically harnessing the superiority of CNN and Transformer to extract buildings from remote sensing images. Meanwhile, an improved MHSA mechanism is developed to facilitate the construction of multiscale global representations, concurrently reducing computational complexity. Furthermore, the cross-level MHSA modules the semantic correlation between the deep and shallow-level features to refine spatial fine-grained information. The proposed method was comprehensively evaluated on two building datasets via quantitative analysis and visualization. The experimental results confirmed that the developed network and modules outperform other state-of-the-art methods and can effectively improve the accuracy (93.4% F1-score on the WHU dataset, 89.38% F1-score on the CAMB dataset) with high efficiency for building extraction. In recent years, with the continuous advancement of remote sensing technology, remote sensing images have found widespread application in various fields. However, remote sensing images are often hindered by the presence of clouds, which can significantly reduce their usability. Removing clouds from remote sensing images has thus become an essential preprocessing step in remote sensing image analysis. While numerous models based on deep learning have produced impressive results in the domain of image denoising, there has been limited research on applying deep neural networks to tackle the issue of cloud removal in remote sensing images. This paper proposes a novel model, the Hybrid Attention Generative Adversarial Network (HyA-GAN), that blends the channel attention mechanism and the spatial attention mechanism and integrates it into a generative adversarial network. By incorporating both the channel attention mechanism and the spatial attention mechanism, HyA-GAN permits the network to prioritize regions that are vital for image processing. This feature leads to an improvement in the network's capacity to recover data and generate remote sensing images with superior cloud removal effects. When comparing HyA-GAN with other existing cloud removal models on the RICE dataset, it outperformed them in both peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity index (SSIM). In the world economy, agriculture is an essential part among individuals to earn money. But, the farmers face more obstacles because more diseases naturally affect the health of the plant. Hence, to overcome this limitation, automatic plant disease identification techniques are essential to monitor the growth as well as disease-affected plants and leaves. In most plants, symptoms related to plant disease can be identified by considering the leaves. Moreover, plant disease identification became more essential with deep learning architecture. Hence, it is important to enhance the solution for resource-constrained portable devices like smartphones, but it become a complicated issue as the deeply structured methods utilize extensive resources for the analysis. Hence, this paper aims to develop an automated plant disease detection framework with an advanced set of plant features. The plant images are taken from online sources. The acquired plant images undergo image enhancement using the contrast enhancement process. The enhanced images are fed in the feature retrieval phase 1, where the segmentation takes place using the Centre Optimized K-means clustering (CO-KMC) with the Modified Random Variable-based Black Widow Optimization (MRV-BWO). Later, the segmented images obtain the colour, shape, and texture features and they are considered as the first set of features. The second set of features is retrieved from the enhanced images using Multi-scale Dilated Attention CNN (MSDA-CNN). These two features are fused by the weighted feature fusion process using the developed MRV-BWO. Then, the plant diseases are detected using the Hybridized Deep Neural Network with Recurrent Neural Network (HDNN-RNN), which comprises RNN and DNN models. The parameter optimization takes place in the hybrid HDNN-RNN for improving the detection efficiency using MRV-BWO. From the verification of the findings, the recommended model obtains a 96.47 precision and accuracy rate. Social Networking continues the growth of web users, with people sharing their ideas and opinions daily in the form of texts, pictures, videos, and speech. Text classification is still an important issue because these large texts were derived from diverse sources and different thinking people. The shared concept must be incomplete, random, noisy, and in the form of different languages. To solve this issue, in this paper, Convolutional Neural Network with Optimized Long Short Term Memory Model (CNN-OLSTM) based sentimental analysis is proposed. The presented approach contains pre-processing, word2vec conversion, and prediction. Initially, data are pre-processed by using tokenization, stop word removal, and stemming. After the pre-processing, the skip-gram model (SGM) based word2vec conversion is performed. Then, the extracted vectors are given to the CNN-OLSTM classifier to classify a tweet as positive or negative polarity. In this, the CNN model effectively reduces the dimension of the input vector using max-pooling layers and convolutional layers. Also, the LSTM model is capable of catching long-term dependencies between word sequences. To enhance the LSTM performance, the rain optimization algorithm (ROA) is effectively used. Children without obvious disabilities (hearing loss/low intellectual capacity) may have language skill development issues due to specific language impairment (SLI), a communication disorder. The SLI has a significant impact on a child's speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities. SLI is typically known as development language disorder, developmental dysphasia, or language delay. Recently, machine learning as well as deep learning techniques have been quite effective in predicting the early stage of SLI, analyzing the disorder severity, and predicting the treatment efficiency. Existing approaches primarily exploited auditory indicators to diagnose communication disorders, frequently leaving out hidden information acquired in the temporal domain. To overcome this drawback, an optimized Bidirectional Long Short Term Memory (BiLSTM) architecture is presented in this paper to handle the speech dynamics. The Improved Hybrid Aquila Optimizer and Flow Directional algorithm known as IHAOFDA is integrated with the BiLSTM architecture to optimize the hyperparameters of the BiLSTM structure. When assessed using the information from the SLI children in the Laboratory of Artificial Neural Network Applications (LANNA) dataset, the proposed model performs better. This study proposes a multilayered deep neural network (MLDNN) and a congestion index (CI) based on traffic density factor to forecast traffic congestion directly. Data were collected in Delhi city from a selected location using video cameras during peak hours of weekdays from Monday to Sunday to test the proposed model. Collected data were categorized in a matrix format in the intervals of five-minutes. The input matrix was divided into a number of intervals to train, validate, and test the MLDNN and baseline models, including support vector regression, multi-layer perceptron neural network, gated recurrent unit (GRU) neural network, long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network, convolutional neural network (CNN), CNN-GRU neural network, and CNN-LSTM neural network. Educational institutions are now concentrating to develop new initiative methods for recognizing the ability of the students through evaluation of the student's answer sheets. The manual evaluation of the answer sheet is a burdensome process for the tutors, which consumes more time and increases stress of the tutors. Hence, the advanced method is required for the automatic assessment of the student's mark sheet which saves the time of the tutors and meets the demand of the educational institution. In this research, the student performance is evaluated through the MCQ test using the neural networks in the VLab platform. The computational complexity and the overfitting issues are greatly reduced by the feature extraction process through Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) technique. The effectiveness of the proposed method is manifested through the comparative analysis. The accuracy, precision, and recall attained by the proposed student's performance prediction based on Neural Network while considering training percentage are found to be 0.9416, 0.9364, and 0.9502 respectively. Generalized structured component analysis (GSCA) is a multivariate method for specifying and examining interrelationships between observed variables and components. Despite its data-analytic flexibility honed over the decade, GSCA always defines every component as a linear function of observed variables, which can be less optimal when observed variables for a component are nonlinearly related, often reducing the component's predictive power. To address this issue, we combine deep learning and GSCA into a single framework to allow a component to be a nonlinear function of observed variables without specifying the exact functional form in advance. This new method, termed deep learning generalized structured component analysis (DL-GSCA), aims to maximize the predictive power of components while their directed or undirected network remains interpretable. Our real and simulated data analyses show that DL-GSCA produces components with greater predictive power than those from GSCA in the presence of nonlinear associations between observed variables per component. Lung Cancer is a major cancer in the world and specifically India. Histopathological examination of tumorous tissue biopsy is the gold standard method used to clinically identify the type, sub-type, and stage of cancer. Two of the most prevalent forms of lung cancer: Adenocarcinoma & Squamous Cell Carcinoma account for nearly 80% of all lung cancer cases, which makes classifying the two subtypes of high importance. Proposed in this study is a data pre-processing pipeline for the H&E-stained lung biopsy images along with a customized EfficientNetB3-based Convolutional Neural Network employing spatial attention, trained on a public three-class lung cancer histopathological image dataset. The pre-processing pipeline employed before training, validation and testing helps enhance features of the histopathological images and removes biases due to stain variations for increased model robustness. The usage of a pre-trained CNN helps the deep learning model generalize better with the pre-trained weights, while the attention mechanism On three-fold validation, the classifier bagged accuracies of 0.9943 ± 0.0012 and 0.9947 ± 0.0018 and combined F1-Scores of 0.9942 ± 0.0042 and 0.9833 ± 0.0216 over the validation and testing data respectively. Alzheimer's disease is a gradual neurodegenerative condition affecting the brain, causing a decline in cognitive function by progressively damaging nerve cells over time. While a cure for Alzheimer's remains elusive, the detection of Alzheimer's disease (AD) through brain biomarkers is crucial to impede its advancement. High-resolution structural MRI scans, particularly T1-weighted images, are commonly used in Alzheimer's detection. These images provide detailed information about the brain's structure, allowing researchers and clinicians to identify abnormalities. Our study employs a deep learning methodology using T1-weighted MRI images for a binary classification task--distinguishing between AD and normal/healthy control (NC). The volumetric convolutional neural network model is deployed on pre-processed images and validated on MIRIAD datasets, achieving an impressive accuracy of 97%, surpassing other network models. Addressing the challenge of limited datasets for deep learning models, we incorporated various augmentation techniques such as rotation and rescaling, resulting in outstanding model accuracy and effective discerning between Alzheimer's disease and normal controls.
