Background: The maternal mortality rate in the United States is high and disparities among non-Hispanic White and non-Hispanic Black women remain. In the State of Georgia, the pregnancy-related death rate is among the worst in the nation. Objective: To examine current pregnancy-related deaths in the State of Georgia using measures of timing and cause-specific mortality across maternal sociodemographic characteristics. Design: This cross-sectional study of pregnancy-related deaths in Georgia was based on 2016–2019 maternal mortality data obtained from the Georgia Department of Public Health. Methods: Our study analysis involved complete-case data of maternal deaths identified as pregnancy-related deaths (n = 129). Statistical analyses included two distinct population-level measures: (a) timing (i.e. during pregnancy, 0 to 60 days, 61 to 180 days, and 181 to 365 days postpartum) and (b) cause-specific deaths patterned by sociodemographic groups of women and by rural and urban county of residence. Categorical variables were compared using the Chi square or Fisher's exact test and presented as numbers and percentages. A post hoc power analysis was conducted to inform whether there was sufficient power to detect statistically significant effects given available sample sizes. Results: Among a total of 129 pregnancy-related deaths, 30 (23.3%) deaths occurred during pregnancy and 63 (48.8%) deaths occurred within the first 60 days postpartum. Pregnancy-related deaths were disproportionally common among non-Hispanic Black, 25 to 34 years old, and poorly educated women. Three leading underlying causes, cardiomyopathy (22.7%), hemorrhage (21.6%), and cardiovascular or coronary disease (20.4%), accounted for about 65% of all pregnancy-related deaths. Mental health conditions were common causes of death among non-Hispanic White women during pregnancy and in late postpartum. Conclusion: Continued monitoring, collecting and analyzing reliable data will help identify root causes and find ways to eliminate the disproportionate burden of pregnancy-related deaths in the State of Georgia. Objective: There is no study on the relationship between triglyceride-glucose index (TyG index) and skeletal muscle mass in middle-aged and elderly C population. Therefore, the aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between the TyG index and weight-adjusted relative skeletal muscle index (RSMI) in middle-aged and elderly C population. Methods: We retrospectively studied 947 aged ⩾40 years subjects who got a routine medical examination in the Department of Geriatrics of R Hospital from May 2021 to March 2023. The RSMI was designed to evaluate skeletal muscle mass and calculated based on lean mass of the limbs(kg)/body weight(kg) × 100%. Skeletal muscle mass reduction was defined as a RSMI of 1-2 standard deviations (SD) below of healthy adults aged 30-49 years old. Considering the quartile groups of the TyG index, the subjects were assigned to 4 groups: Q1 (less than or equal to 8.171), Q2 (from 8.172 to 8.569), Q3 (from 8.570 to 8.992), and Q4 (greater than or equal to 8.993). Results: With TyG index increased, RSMI levels significantly reduced(P <.001). Spearman's correlation analysis showed that the TyG index was negatively correlated with RSMI in males (r = −0.320) and females (r = −0.240). The TyG index was positively correlated with body mass index (BMI), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), fasting plasma glucose (FPG), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) (P <.05). Besides, binary logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of developing reduced skeletal muscle mass in the group Q4 was 2.131 (95%CI:1.118-4.064) in males; and was 2.472 (95%CI:1.581-3.867) in females compared to the Q1 group. Conclusion: TyG index was negatively correlated with relative skeletal muscle index, and a higher TyG index was associated with the development of reduced skeletal muscle mass independently of other influencing factors. Introduction: Globally, healthcare organizations have transitioned from paper-based documentation to electronic health records (EHR), including in Saudi Arabia. However, the adoption of EHR at the national level in Saudi Arabia needs more attention. Thus, this study aimed to determine the workflow integration of EHR and associated factors. Objectives: The specific aims were to examine the level of EHR use and workflow integration among nurses, to determine the differences in EHR use and workflow integration based on nurses' demographic characteristics, and to determine the association between the predictive factors and EHR workflow integration. Methods: This is a cross-sectional, correlational descriptive study. The data were collected from 293 nurses using the convenience sampling method. The participating nurses completed a questionnaire that included two measures: the Information System Use Survey and the Workflow Integration Survey (WIS). The data were analyzed using descriptive and multivariate statistics with SPSS software. Results: The nurses had a positive perception of EHR use and workflow. The EHR use scores differed based on workplace (P <.01), education level (P <.05), and area of practice (P <.001). Similarly, the EHR workflow integration scores varied according to workplace (P <.05), education level (P <.05), and area of practice (P <.001). Education level and workplace significantly predicted information system use. Furthermore, education level and information system use significantly predicted the EHR integration into nurses' workflow. Conclusion: The nurses expressed a greater perceived use of EHR regarding the integrated health information system, which was a predictor of EHR integration into nurses' workflow. Background/Purpose: We aimed to investigate whether there is an interaction between life-space assessment (LSA) and movement control during one-leg standing on bone strength on the non-fractured side in patients with hip fracture. Methods: Two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied for osteoporosis parameter to examine the interaction and main effects of LSA and movement control during one-leg standing. Results: Two-way ANOVA revealed significant interaction and main effects of LSA and movement control during one-leg standing on bone mineral density (BMD) and Z -score. In parameters of hip structural analysis (HSA), the interaction and main effect of movement control during one-leg standing were detected only in cross-sectional area (CSA). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that both high LSA and good movement control during one-leg standing are necessary to maintain or improve some parameters of bone strength, such as BMD (neck and total hip), Z-score (neck and total hip), and CSA. Introduction: The majority of Indian women tend to ignore and neglect their menopausal symptoms, which can diminish in intensity over time, leading to a reduced health-related quality of life. We aimed to assess the health-care-seeking behavior of postmenopausal women in light of the increasing burden of menopausal symptoms. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was carried out within urban neighborhoods, involving 384 postmenopausal women aged 45–60, to investigate the health-related issues they faced. The Menopause Rating Scale (MRS) was used to assess the symptoms experienced during the postmenopausal stage. In addition, a predesigned and pretested questionnaire was used to gather information on their health-care-seeking behavior. The participants underwent a comprehensive physical examination, including anthropometric measurements. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics were used. Results: The results showed that 34% of the 384 women were between the ages of 45 and 49 years. Based on the MRS assessment, it was found that around 70% of women experienced mild symptoms, whereas 24% had moderate symptoms, and a mere 2% reported severe symptoms. Regarding treatment, approximately 85% of women had sought medical intervention. However, satisfaction with the treatment was reported by only 71% of the participants. Among the women with modest symptoms, 70% received medical care, compared to 28% of the women with moderate symptoms. Women who were employed, widowed, three-generation family women, and Class IISES women made the most use of health-care facilities, with 90%, 89%, 88%, and 97%, respectively. Conclusion: The prevalence of faint symptoms was significantly higher than that of moderate and severe symptoms. Although most women sought treatment, many were unsatisfied with it. Therefore, behavior modification communication is necessary among postmenopausal women who seek medical care. Background: Cancer patients experience significant changes in their social roles along with various physical and psychological challenges. Despite the growing recognition of the importance of palliative care in Bangladesh, there is a notable gap in research focusing on the psychosocial issues faced by patients with advanced cancer. Aim: This study aims to explore the level of social support perceived by Bangladeshi cancer patients and determine how this support relates to their mental health status. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted among 115 advanced cancer (stages III and IV) patients admitted to the palliative medicine department of a tertiary care hospital in Bangladesh. Perceived social support was measured by the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and the mental health status of the patients was assessed by Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale-21. Data collection was done from June to November 2023. Relationships between perceived social support, depression, anxiety, and stress were assessed by the Spearman correlation test. The moderating effect of perceived social support on patients' mental health variables was determined by multiple linear regression and simple slope analysis. p Value <0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Result: The study included an almost equal number of male (49.6%) and female (50.4%) patients, with a mean age of 50.7 ± 14.4 years. Overall, perceived social support was moderate to high for most (74.7%) of the participants. Among the participants, 78.3% experienced anxiety, 77.4% suffered from depression, and 70.5% experienced stress. Depression, anxiety, and stress were all negatively and significantly (p < 0.05) correlated with perceived social support. Younger patients reported higher levels of anxiety, stress, and depression. Perceived social support had a significant buffering effect on depression and anxiety among the younger patients. Conclusion: Perceived social support has a profound and significant effect on the mental health of advanced cancer patients. Integrating psychosocial support early in palliative care can be highly beneficial to the mental health of these patients. Background: The posterior tibial slope (PTS) is an important feature in knee joint biomechanics and indicates anterior-posterior knee stability. Increased PTS is a known risk factor for both primary anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture and postreconstruction rerupture. Purpose: To investigate the effect of long-term exposure to ACL deficiency on the PTS and the sagittal anatomy of the proximal tibia. Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: A total of 44 patients (38 men, 6 women) with a history of knee injury and ACL rupture confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging and physical examination were included in this study. Patients were divided into those with chronic ACL deficiency (group 1: injured ≥5 years prior; n = 22) and acute ACL deficiency (group 2: injured <1 year prior; n = 22). The medial and lateral tibial plateau PTS and anterior tibial translation were measured on monopodal weightbearing knee radiographs at 20° of flexion. The mechanical tibiofemoral angle (MTFA) and the medial proximal tibial angle (MPTA) were measured using an orthoroentgenogram. The side-to-side difference between the affected and unaffected knees was also calculated for all measurements. Results: The mean duration of exposure to ACL deficiency was 7.6 years (range, 5-15 years) in group 1 and 4.4 months (range, 1-11 months) in group 2. Regarding the side-to-side differences in angular measurements, a higher medial PTS (affected vs unaffected: 12.4° vs 10.1°; P =.007), higher lateral PTS (11° vs 8.9°; P =.011), and increased varus alignment on both the MTFA (4.3° vs 2.4°; P =.036) and the MPTA (84.9° vs 86.3°; P =.033) were found in group 1, while no significant differences in angular measurements were found in group 2. Compared with group 2, patients in group 1 had a significantly higher side-to-side difference in the medial PTS (2.3° vs 0.1°; P =.0001), lateral PTS (2.1° vs 0.4°; P =.0001), and MPTA (1.4° vs 0.1°; P =.002). Conclusion: This study showed that the affected knees of patients with chronic ACL deficiency (≥5 years) had higher medial and lateral PTS compared with the unaffected contralateral knees. Patient satisfaction is essential to the patient-centered approach in health services delivery, but little is known about satisfaction with physiotherapy services in Afghanistan. This study evaluated patients' satisfaction with physiotherapy services and related factors in this country. This study was conducted on 420 recipients of a physiotherapy center in Afghanistan. A questionnaire was used to collect data that measured satisfaction in 4 dimensions: treatment process, logistics, organizational factors, and overall. The scale of the questionnaire was 5-point Likert. The highest possible score was 100. Statistics methods included Spearman's correlation coefficient, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests for univariate analysis, and Linear Regression for multivariate analysis. The average overall satisfaction score was 84.82 ± 13.24. Among the demographic variables, the relationship between education level and overall satisfaction score was significant. The findings of the linear regression model showed that the 3 dimensions of satisfaction, including the treatment process, logistics, and organizational factors, had statistically significant relationships with overall satisfaction. The level of satisfaction was high in all dimensions. To maximize satisfaction, reducing waiting time and better communication with patients, as components of logistics and organizational factors, are suggested. Introduction/Objectives: To assess the utility of the computerized cognitive function assessment tool, CogEvo, as a screening tool for mild cognitive impairment in primary care, we explored the relationship between CogEvo performance, age, and the severity of cognitive dysfunction evaluated by the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE). Methods: The observational cross-sectional study included 209 individuals' data (mean age 79.4 ± 8.9 years). We conducted a correlation analysis between CogEvo and MMSE scores, compared the performance among the 3 cognitive function groups (MMSE ≥ 28 group; MMSE24-27 group; MMSE ≤ 23 group) using the MMSE cut-off, and evaluated CogEvo's predictive accuracy for cognitive dysfunction through ROC analysis. Results: Both total CogEvo and MMSE scores significantly decreased with age. A significant positive correlation was observed between total CogEvo and MMSE scores, but a ceiling effect was detected in MMSE performance. Significant differences were observed in the total CogEvo score, including orientation and spatial cognitive function scores, among the 3 groups. CogEvo showed no educational bias. ROC analyses indicated moderate discrimination between the MMSE ≥ 28 group and the MMSE24-27 and MMSE ≤ 23 groups. Conclusions: The computer-administered CogEvo has the advantage of not exhibiting ceiling effects or educational bias like the MMSE, and was found to be able to detect age-related cognitive decline and impairment. Introduction/Objectives: Companion animals (CAs) may benefit human health, but few studies have examined their impact on stroke survivors. This study examines participation, quality of life (QoL), attachment, cognition, and executive function differences between stroke survivors living with and without CAs. Methods: In this cross-sectional, community-setting study, 25 stroke survivors with a CA and a matched group of 27 without a CA completed standard tools. Results: Stroke survivors with a CA scored significantly higher in participation and 1 cognitive performance test. No significant differences were found in other cognitive measures or QoL, and attachment to a CA was not correlated with participation or QoL within the research group. However, lower attachment avoidance correlated with better participation in survivors living with dogs. Conclusion: Living with CAs, especially dogs, might be associated with some cognitive function and participation benefits among stroke survivors. The link between CAs and cognitive function is unclear: Survivors with higher cognitive functioning might be more capable of caring for a CA, or having and caring for a CA might promote better cognitive function. Introduction: Disease uncertainty refers to the inability to assign meaning to events related to the illness. Uncertainty of the disease can affect various aspects of human life such as psychological aspects. Objectives: This study aims to examine the relationship between disease uncertainty and perceived stress in COVID-19 patients. Methods: An analytical cross-sectional study was conducted on 212 hospitalized COVID-19 patients who were initially admitted to the intensive care units (ICUs) and later transferred to general wards within the same hospitals. Three instruments were utilized to collect data for this study. The Demographic Information Questionnaire, Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale (MUIS) for disease uncertainty, and Perceived Stress Questionnaire. For data analysis, both descriptive and inferential statistics were employed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25. Results: The Pearson correlation coefficient matrix results showed a positive and significant relationship between uncertainty about the illness (P <.001, r = 0.829), ambiguity (P <.001, r = 0.795), complexity (P <.001, r = 0.835), inconsistency or instability (P <.001, r = 0.787), and unpredictability (P <.001, r = 0.776) with perceived stress in COVID-19 patients transferred from the intensive care units. Conclusion: Based on the findings of the current study, both uncertainty and perceived stress are elevated among COVID-19 patients, and a significant and direct relationship exists between these two variables. Background: Little is known on how meniscal morphology develops during skeletal growth and maturation and its subsequent relationship with the corresponding bony anatomy. Hypotheses: (1) Meniscal dimensions and morphology would change by age during skeletal growth and maturation in different ways in boys compared with girls. (2) Morphological features of the medial and lateral menisci would correlate to medial and lateral femoral condyle curvatures. Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: Anatomic features of the medial and lateral menisci were measured on magnetic resonance imaging scans from 269 unique knees (age, 3-18 years; 51% female) with no prior history of injury, congenital or growth-related skeletal disorders, or bony deformities. Morphological shape-based measurements were normalized to tibial plateau width or determined as ratios of meniscal dimensions. The association between age and anatomy was analyzed with linear regression. Two-way analysis of variance with the Holm-Šídák post hoc method was used to compare anatomy between sexes in different age groups. Linear regression was used to evaluate the relationship between femoral condyle curvature radius and meniscal morphology in each compartment after adjusting for age and sex. Results: Meniscal length, width, horn distance, mean cross-sectional area (CSA), and mean height increased with age in both sexes (R 2 > 0.1; P <.001). Age-related changes in meniscal morphology were seen in normalized length, width, horn distance, and mean height; width-to-length ratio; horn distance-to-length ratio (lateral meniscus only); normalized mean CSA (except lateral meniscus in girls); and mean tip angle (R 2 > 0.04; P <.02). Sex-based differences were also found, with some morphological differences (normalized length and height) throughout development (P <.03) and size differences (length, width, and mean CSA) in later development (P <.01). After adjusting for age and sex, there were significant correlations between medial condyle curvature radius and normalized width, width-to-length ratio, horn distance, horn distance-to-length ratio, mean CSA, and mean height of the medial meniscus (P ≤.041) and between lateral condyle curvature radius and normalized length, mean height, and mean tip angle of the lateral meniscus (P ≤.004). Conclusion: Age-related changes in meniscal dimensions and morphology, most notably a nonuniform growth pattern in meniscal geometry, occurred during skeletal growth and maturation, with different trends in boys than in girls. Background: Studies have evaluated types of retromalleolar groove using axial magnetic resonance imaging at the level of 10 mm above the tip of the lateral malleolus. However, no evidence is available to support that this level is appropriate for evaluating retromalleolar groove morphology. Purpose: To assess the influence of the level of axial computed tomography (CT) scans on the assessment of retromalleolar groove morphology. Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: The study population included 122 patients (mean age, 27.9 ± 11.8 years; 69 males, 53 female) who underwent CT scans to evaluate foot or ankle pathologies between 2020 and 2023. The shape of the retromalleolar groove (concave, flat, convex, or irregular) at 3 levels of axial CT scans (8, 10, and 12 mm above the tip of the lateral malleolus) was assessed independently by 2 orthopaedic surgeons. The length from the tip of the lateral malleolus to the proximal tip of the fossa of the lateral malleolus was also measured on coronal CT scans. Results: The type of retromalleolar groove was significantly different according to the level of CT scans (8 vs 10 mm, P =.0001; 10 vs 12 mm, P =.0001; 8 vs 12 mm, P =.001). The type of retromalleolar groove was the same at all 3 levels in 31.1% of patients (38/122). The length from the tip of the lateral malleolus to the proximal tip of the fossa of the lateral malleolus was <10 mm in 17.2% of patients (21/122). Conclusion: The shape of the retromalleolar fibular groove was affected by the level at which the CT scan was obtained. Introduction: Primary care clinician burnout is pervasive and detrimental. How components of teamwork and clinic culture might contribute to burnout remains unsettled. Objective: To examine associations between primary care clinician perceptions of specific components of teamwork and of organizational culture, and perceived stress and burnout. Methods: Cross-sectional survey study of primary care clinicians from 5 county health system clinics. Measures: Perceptions of teamwork related to coordination of care, and clinic provision of chronic disease self-management support; values alignment and workplace equity; and demographics. Data Analysis: Descriptive statistics and Spearman's correlations to examine associations, controlling for clinic and examining response variability by clinic. Results: Of 72 clinicians, 64% were female and 32% non-white. About 56% had worked at least 4 years and half worked 5 to 6 half days/week or more in their clinic. Clinicians who reported having someone on the clinician's care team routinely schedule follow-up appointments for patients with complex chronic illnesses reported lower stress and burnout. Those who perceived greater values alignment with their clinic and greater personal and employee equitable treatment had lower stress and burnout. Conclusions: Teamwork among clinicians and non-clinical staff, a component of teamwork that is not well-considered in current literature, could be an important piece of the puzzle to decrease the persistent and challenging issue of stress and burnout among primary care clinicians. Background: Differences in the physical characteristics of bilateral and unilateral lumbar bone stress injuries (BSIs) are unknown. Purpose: To compare bilateral and unilateral lumbar BSIs in adolescent male soccer players, with a focus on lumbopelvic alignment. Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: A total of 78 players (age range, 12-15 years) from a local soccer club who had magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) evaluations were included in the study. Lumbopelvic alignment and lumbar BSI were evaluated using short-tau inversion recovery and 3-dimensional LAVA on 3-T MRI; lumbar BSI was defined as the presence of bone marrow edema and/or the complete and incomplete fracture in the pars region on the MRI. Pelvic tilt (PT) and pelvic outflare angles were assessed on the kicking and pivoting sides, and asymmetry for each parameter was calculated by subtracting the kicking side from the pivoting side. In addition, the lumbar lordosis (LL), sacral slope (SS), and SS relative to LL (calculated by subtracting LL from the SS) were assessed. One-way analysis of variance was performed to compare lumbopelvic alignment in players with bilateral BSI, unilateral BSI, or no abnormal findings (controls). Results: No significant differences were found regarding lumbopelvic alignment between the players with bilateral versus unilateral lumbar BSI. PT asymmetry was significantly greater in both players with bilateral lumbar BSI and unilateral lumbar BSI compared with controls (P =.018 and P =.016, respectively). In addition, SS relative to LL was significantly greater in players with bilateral lumbar BSI compared with controls (P <.001). Conclusion: Although there were no significant lumbopelvic alignment differences between bilateral and unilateral BSI, players with bilateral BSI exhibited increased sacral anterior tilt relative to the LL, and the pelvis was more posterior on the pivoting side than on the kicking side in both players with bilateral BSI and unilateral BSI. Our results suggest that lumbopelvic alignment assessment may contribute to the management strategy for players with lumbar BSI and to the identification of players at high risk of lumbar BSI. Background: Video material is one of the most common types of digital information on social media platforms. Purpose: To assess the validity and informational value of TikTok videos with regard to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Study Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: Using the terms "anterior cruciate ligament" AND/OR "ACL," 420 TikTok videos were retrieved, of which 100 videos were included in the analysis. The video duration and the number of likes, shares, and views were recorded. Videos were categorized based on the source (private user, physical therapist, surgeon, and researcher), subject type (patient experience, physical therapy, injury mechanism, anatomy, clinical test, and surgical technique), content (patient experience/testimony, education, and rehabilitation), and any background audio (music or voice). Video quality assessments were conducted using the DISCERN instrument, The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, and the Global Quality Score (GQS). Associations between quantitative variables were tested using the Spearman rank correlation. One-way analysis of variance or Mann-Whitney test was performed to assess whether video quality differed by video characteristics. Results: A total of 41 videos were published by private users (41%), 34 by physical therapists (34%), 23 by surgeons (23%), and 2 by researchers (2%). Most of the information regarded patient experience (34%), followed by physical therapy (20%), injury mechanism (19%), anatomy (11%), clinical test (9%), and surgical technique (7%). The mean video length was 40.55 ± 41.58 seconds. The mean number of views was 151,084.39 ± 487,150.02, while the mean numbers of comments, likes, and shares were 72.80 ± 249.68, 6781.49 ± 29,163.96, and 98.71 ± 307.76, respectively. The mean DISCERN, JAMA, and GQS scores were 15.73 ± 1.44, 0.19 ± 0.39, and 1.16 ± 0.37, respectively, indicating the poorest quality on all 3 indices. The number of views, likes, shares, comments, and video lengths were all positively correlated with DISCERN (except the number of shares), JAMA, and GQS scores (P <.05). A significant difference was found in DISCERN scores between videos by private users and those by surgeons (15.37 ± 0.98 vs 16.22 ± 1.57; P =.007). Conclusion: Our analysis has demonstrated that the educational value of these videos on the ACL on TikTok is poor. Given the rapid growth of TikTok, further research is needed. Background: Screen time (ST), mainly social media (SM), has increased during the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, impacting mental and physical health. This study aims to analyze SM use in young adults ages 18 to 28 years and lifestyle changes during COVID-19 to provide a baseline on pandemic habits in the younger population. Methods: An international cross-sectional observational study was conducted from September 2020 to January 2021. Participants responded about their SM behavior, and activities they noticed they did less and more during COVID-19. A total of 183 responses were analyzed. Results: The top reason respondents increased SM was for entertainment. Many respondents increased ST, physical activity (PA), and sleeping habits during COVID-19, while many decreased socialization, PA, and going outdoors. PA had mixed results among participants, indicating some increased PA and some decreased. Evidence suggests that timing of quarantining during the pandemic significantly influenced variables, like ST (P =.004) and socialization (P =.037). Discussion and Conclusion: Respondents generally noticed increased SM use for various reasons, including socialization, potentially explaining why respondents feel they socialize less. ST use increased; some people reported increased PA while others reported a decrease. Background: Mothers experience a wide range of maternal health problems after childbirth, which in turn, affect their well-being and ability to care for their newborn. These problems may be influenced by factors such as mode of delivery or socio-economic status. Objective: This study aims to investigate the prevalence of common maternal health problems and their correlates in a public primary healthcare institution in Singapore. Design: This was a cross-sectional study, based on a self-administered questionnaire. Methods: A total of 373 mothers (mean age 31.9 years) who accompanied their infants for their 4- to 8-week development assessments at a public primary care clinic in Singapore completed a self-administered questionnaire from June 2021 to December 2021. The questionnaire assessed demographic factors, mode of delivery, number of children, number of individuals providing significant help, and the frequency of common physical and mental maternal health problems using a 5-point Likert-type scale. Results: The five most common maternal health problems were fatigue (77.7%), lower back pain (59.3%), Caesarean wound pain (54.3%), upper back pain (53.0%) and vaginal pain (41.2%). The prevalence of depression and anxiety was 22.0% and 11.3%, respectively. With respect to the symptoms' correlates, pain on passing urine was more frequent after assisted vaginal deliveries than all other forms of deliveries (all pairwise p < 0.01), and pain on passing motion was more frequent in vaginal deliveries than in Caesarean deliveries (all pairwise p < 0.05). Mothers having a larger number of children more frequently experienced headaches (β = 0.17, SE = 0.05, p = 0.002) and less frequently experienced breastfeeding difficulties (β = –0.28, SE = 0.08, p < 0.001). Conclusion: Mothers experienced a high prevalence of maternal health problems in multiple domains during the first 8 weeks after childbirth. Mode of delivery and number of children were associated with increased prevalence of certain problems. Introduction: Preoperative education is an essential nursing task that can be affected by the nurses' perception. Patients may be receiving insufficient vital information before surgery. However, the essential information that should be provided to patients undergoing surgery is not fully addressed. Objective: To assess the essential elements of preoperative information as perceived by the surgical nurses. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. A convenience sample of 224 registered nurses who were working at surgical units was recruited from two hospitals. A preoperative teaching questionnaire was used. Results: Details about the operation (4.39 ± 0.61) and preoperative preparation (4.36 ± 0.61) were the most important domains of preoperative education as perceived by nurses. The results show significant differences between the perceived and actual preoperative educational practice across all domains except the preoperative preparation. Conclusions: The delivery of preoperative education could be affected by nurses' perceptions. Background: The coronal lateral collateral ligament (LCL) sign (the entire LCL being seen in 1 coronal slice on a magnetic resonance imaging [MRI] scan), is a new secondary sign of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear. Purpose: To (1) evaluate the coronal LCL sign in adults with ACL tears and (2) compare the magnitude of the MRI scan parameters between adolescent and adult ACL-deficient knees with positive coronal LCL signs. Study design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence: 3. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients who underwent ACL reconstruction between February 1, 2013, and May 31, 2021, and divided them into adolescent (10-18 years) and adult (>18 years) groups. Tibial translation, femorotibial rotation, and presence of the coronal LCL sign were evaluated using MRI. The static femorotibial position parameters were also compared between positive and negative coronal LCL sign groups. Independent Student t tests were used to identify statistically significant differences for continuous variables, whereas the categorical variables were compared using the chi-square test. Results: A total of 65 adolescents and 300 adults with ACL tears were identified. The coronal LCL sign was present in a similar percentage of adolescents and adults with ACL tears (57% vs 58%; P = .873). The anterior tibial translation (ATT) in patients with positive coronal LCL signs (adolescents, 7.9 ± 3.4 mm; adults, 6.6 ± 3.5 mm) was significantly greater compared with those with negative signs (adolescents, 1.5 ± 2.6 mm, P < .001; adults, 2.3 ± 4.2 mm, P < .001). Femorotibial rotation was also statistically greater in positive coronal LCL sign groups (adolescents, 6.4°± 5.6°; adults, 7.0°± 5.0°) compared with negative sign groups (adolescents, 0.7°± 4.7°, P < .001; adults, 3.5°± 4.2°, P < .001). Conclusion: The occurrence of the coronal LCL sign on MRI scans was comparable between adolescents and adults with ACL-deficient knees. Background: Videos uploaded to YouTube do not go through a review process, and therefore, videos related to medial meniscal ramp lesions may have little educational value. Purpose: To assess the educational quality of YouTube videos regarding ramp lesions of the meniscus. Study design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: A standard search was performed on the YouTube website using the following terms: "ramp lesion" and "posterior meniscal detachment" and "ramp" and "meniscocapsular" and "meniscotibial detachment," and the top 100 videos based on the number of views were included for analysis. The video duration, publication data, and number of likes and views were retrieved, and the videos were categorized based on video source (health professionals, orthopaedic company, private user), the type of information (anatomy, biomechanics, clinical examination, overview, radiologic, surgical technique), and video content (education, patient support, patient experience/testimony). The content analysis of the information on the videos was evaluated with the use of the DISCERN instrument (score range, 16-80), the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria (score range, 0-4), and the Global Quality Score (GQS; score range, 1-5). Results: A total of 74 videos were included. Of these videos, 70 (94.6%) were published by health professionals, while the remaining 4 (5.4%) were published by orthopaedic companies. Most of the videos were about surgical technique (n = 36; 48.6%) and all had an educational aim (n = 74; 100%). The mean length of the videos was 10.35 ± 17.65 minutes, and the mean online period was 18.64 ± 13.85 months. The mean DISCERN score, JAMA benchmark score, and GQS were 31.84 ± 17.14 (range, 16-72), 1.65 ± 0.87 (range, 1-4), and 2.04 ± 1.21 (range, 1-5), respectively. Videos that reported an overview about ramp lesions were the best in terms of quality for DISCERN and JAMA benchmark score, while biomechanics videos were the best according to GQS. The worst category of videos was about surgical technique, with all having lower scores. Conclusion: The educational content of YouTube regarding medial meniscal ramp lesions showed low quality and validity based on DISCERN score, JAMA benchmark score, and GQS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
