- Abstract
A selected collection of architectural programming techniques has been assembled to aid architects in building design. Several exciting and sophisticated techniques for determining a basis for environmental design have been developed in recent years. These extend to the logic of environmental design and lead to more appropriate and useful facilities. The significant areas of concern with architectural programing are communications, problem definition and hierarchy, fact collection, fees and services, research, testing, and evaluation. Case studies and examples of techniques indicated possible uses of architectural programing for planning and design. (TC)
