Abstract

The article cites a study that investigated hypothesis related to differential Rorschach scores of successfully and unsuccessfully placed mental defectives. The subjects of this study were 52 mental defectives who were administered the Rorschach test prior to their parole placement as a routine psychological test. They were all placed on parole during 1952 and 1953. If the placed individual were still in the same placement at the end of an eight-month period, he was adjudged a successful parolee.
