The results of further investigation (see Ramdohr-Festschrift, 1960) indicate that the „unknown minerals“ I and III are brannerite and that a hexagonal or pseudohexagonal uranium mineral may be lermontovite. By means of ore microscopy there were found native selenium and selenides hitherto overlooked: berzelianite, umangite, klockmannite, ferroselite FeSe2, blockite (Ni, Cu, Co)Se2, villamaninite (Cu, Ni, Co, Fe) (S, Se)2, tiemannite HgSe, clausthalite PbSe, tyrrellite (Cu, Ni, Co)3Se4 (?), naumannite Ag2Se, and guanajuatite Bi2 (Se, S)3. Radioactive haloes in sphalerite are described.
