The article focuses on the effect of a landslide that occurred at Turtle Mountain in Alberta to the lives of residents. Turtle Mountain is a 4,450-foot valley plateau that connects the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Landslides that happened in the area has a great impact to the lives of residents and destroyed several business establishments. In the investigation, it revealed that the major cause of the disaster was the continuous coal mining in the area.
